The added complications just show the excellence of the original Venus 175 movement. I've had my Seagull 1963 for about 3 years; by no means a daily , it's just started to gain a bit of time, though the chronograph bits still work perfectly. I'm waiting for another one from Proxima, who claim to oil and regulate their movements. We'll see. Great video. Its a beautiful watch, though I'm not so sure about the T - shirt. Cheers
You're both the first person I immediately wanted to subscribe to *again* AND the first person whose headline I find so honest and cool I'd subscribe to you immediately without watching. But the watch looks AMAZING.
Wooohooo 2k! Some sea gull movements are more reliable than others. I havent heard of anyone that his sea gull st19 movement watch survived the 1 year (the 1963) and thats why i dont have one in my collection, especially on everyday use. I heard someone unpack it and activated and deactivated the chrono and it stopped working. idk how micros use this movement honestly, do they service and adjust it like Alex does? Anyways Alex, when i try to reccomend and show your website to people i get perpetual calender watches on google so thank you for the link (Toni) but im sure your website could get more exposre otherwise. Would love to own a regulator in the future.. It will happen.. :)
2k, brother, indeed! Ihad my own feedback about the website, but Alex is too much of an old school guy, for the good and the worse 😉 As for the micros using it, maybe now, with this knowledge, I guess people can understand why they are charging 500 plus, against the 150 alix companies do.
Seems like alot of work to make that movement work right. I'm not sure it makes me feel better about the movement. Too bad he couldn't have picked a better quality movement to start with. I wouldn't want to stake my company's reputation on this movement even after doctoring it up.
Great review, not my cup of thee. But i agree that there is a lot of value on the table here with great complications offered by a good regulated Seagull movement 👌
The ST1901 is junk. I had to repair my chronograph. Watchmaker found the pushers are too short. Plus, human rights matter. Here’s what happened to my 1963: My Seagull 1963 Needed Repair #watchcollectors ruclips.net/video/YAOcSU4xeF8/видео.html
I hope I made it clear in the video that the ST19 calibers should only be installed by people that know what they're doing which is not what AliExpress brands are. In fact, your watchmaker all but confirms my conclusion.

🤣 Leave my T-shirt alone!
Thanks Toni. You convinced me to purchase a Regulator from this brand and I have no regrets 🎉
So glad you like it, Fred! Thank you, once again, for all your wonderful support!

Thank you, it means a lot!
Been waiting to see some videos on this brand… thanks! 🙏🏾
Make sure you check my other two Perpetual reviews. Thank you for watching!

@@themicrobrandexpert yaap now it makes very sense thx :)
I love my perpetual sc the case size isn't a problem even on a 6.5 inch wrist
That's a very peculiar case profile, happy it works on your wrist!
Great information. Thanks.
Thank you, again, for your support!

For all its problems, one has to acknowledge the immense contribution ST calibers had in "democratising" the mechanical chronograph.
Very true sir! But I'd even do a mechaquartz instead. Thanks for your review. It was terrific.

Mechanical art, right? 🤭
