If you factory reset it, you can see it again. My ps5 bricked and i had to reinstall software and it did that again. Seen it a total of 3 times on mine lol

Would be cool if Sony programmed into the pS5 the option to use any of the previous Playstation boot up sequences, but modified to display that it's the 5th Gen, rather than the corresponding generations for each sequence.
That would be a great option , you never know what they may do in future updates

I saw that startup sequence the first time I turned on my ps5. I had totally forgotten about it because I never saw it again. Thank you for reminding me that it happened. And thank you for showing me how to customize the command center. I had been wondering about that and haven't really read the manual.

Original Ps4 was like the ps2 2009 slim and ps5 is like the ps3 with it's round top and the glitter affect in the home screen.
Sony needs to let us have that start up everytime we turn the ps5 on.

If you perform a full system initialization it should happen again. However, I have not initialized my own PS5 to confirm this

That is actually really cool in concept. The fact that it's vey first boot up shows a super-nova of some kind is like the console is taking its first breath and coming to life as it forms a new world within it. It never shows it again because the world within is already made.
