Just remember, dunking is a skill. You might have the jump height but might need to practice dunking off two more often. Maybe try some low rim dunking and gradually increase it.
I'm glad you came to the obvios rigtt answer. It's like being able to hit a lay-up with either hand....or being able to pull up and drop the j or penetrate and and get to the rim....if you limit the tools in your arsenal your game is more predictable and you are easier to guuard
more "posterization" off 2 foot dunks cause one foot is more naturally suited for a fast break where there's no-one to poserize. It's better with a longer running start and more speed, whereas if you only have 2 or 3 run up steps 2 feet is naturally more easy
Completely wrong. If you’re naturally a 1 foot jumper then even if you have only 2 or 3 steps to take the 1 foot jump will always be easier for you. & there’s more posters off 2 because it’s easier to control your body, it has nothing to do with fast breaks
@@versatillion15 analyze the ratio of 1 foot vs 2 for dunks on fast breaks, and analyze the ratio of one foot vs 2 foot dunks in the half court game.... Sorry, but you are completely wrong for calling me completely wrong 🤣
The truth is that with rare exceptions, ball great two foot jumpers are also great one foot jumpers. They just choose to go off two feet in a crowd because it is quicker and less predictable. Michael Jordan is a great example. Zach Lavine is also a great two foot jumper, as is Kobe Bryant and Scottie Pippen and Blake Griffin. One foot posters are less rare because defenders see it coming and get out of the way before it happens. And when they get caught, the offensive player normally pushes off, like Rui Hachimura on Anthony Davis. Most of the time, these confrontations don't take place because the defender can really hurt the running player.
While I agree that being able to jump well with both methods (1 foot and 2 foot) is ideal, I do think it’d be interesting for you to analyze dunkers who tend to favor one jump technique over another. Donavan Mitchell comes to mind as somebody who almost exclusively (at least in the clips I’ve seen) tends to dunk off two. And, in the rare instances where I have seen him go off one foot, I think I’ve only seen him do like rim grazer drop-ins and light dunks, nothing super explosive off 1.
I’m a 1 foot dunker off 2 ft I can only do windmills and between the legs. If I practiced more Ik I can do way more off 2 but 1 foot is just so natural to me and takes less energy/effort so I really forget about 2 ft bounce altogether. If I’m in a game situation and I need it though it’s there so I feel it’s good to have both.
I think for just purely dunking/jumping high 2 foot is better, it seems like it has more power. But I've noticed that people who jump off 1 foot tend to have more athleticism in other areas like speed/agility.
Trash video, not even funny .. Also Lebron can jump off 2 feet too, he used to do that a lot when he was in his athletic prime in the 2000’s/early 2010’s
1foot to fastbreak
2foot for traffic
Thats it
giving jxmyhighroller vibess
How?

Two foot is better when it comes to doing trick dunks
that’s a fair point. I think I probably agree with that tbh.
idk why I can dunk off 1 but cant even dunk off two but my two doesnt seem bad without the ball
Same
you can reach higher w one arm up when jumping one foot

literally same dawg idk why
Every situation calls for variation

I think form/footwork has to be considered as a 3rd factor to vertical jump
Absolutely agree
bro's got the high quality vid! :D
1 foot seems way harder to me (more athletic, more forces per leg) so I envy people that are one foot dunkers
Respect the grind. Nice vid
I like the ending so imma drop a like
Ion like that demon voice of yours laughing at me while i’m 6’4 with a rim grazing package 😂😥
I think it's genetics, can dunk w 2 hands off 1 foot and no matter how hard I try I can barely touch the rim off 2 feet
Nice video bro ❤
My 1 foot vert rn is 36 inches, off two its 31
As a teenager I was both but as I got heavier and stronger I became a two foot jumper

What your standing reach, say please 🙏
I'm a 6ft white dude that used to dunk when I was in my 20's and was a 2 foot jumper. I never knew why. It was just natural to me. 🤷🏻

One foot jumping is extremely speed dependant because of the shorter ground contact time.
I’m definitely jumping with you 4:35 and I’m blocking your shot or dunking on you. 💀🏀
What the fuck did I just watch
Christopher Nolan would be proud
I can do it better with 2 feet even if I have momentum. Idk why it just feels more natural and easier to get momentum up vs forward
only benefit of 1 foot is the quick take off. 2 foot beats 1 foot every other time due to being flashy, more powerful and more controlled
No Steve Francis on your list is CRAZY, 2 foot jumping takes more coordination but its all-personal preference
But I feel like 1 foot dunkers are pretty good at layups since layups requires you to jump off 1 foot
this guy funny asl. im subbing. please dont disappoint me dawg😭🙏. I hope u make it big🙏🙏
I gotchu, my guy dw 🙏🏿. Appreciate the support fr.
whats the best for highest jump
2 feet
