I really like the Callaway Rogue X hybrids. I have those in a # 3 and # 8. So my hybrids are a mixture of those and Ping G 400's. The Callaway Hybrid Rogue X is almost like a mini wood . Its huge.
I had woods fitted at Foregolf - James was outstanding. I didn’t like the look of Rogue but the Dr, 3W and Hybrid so much better (for me) than the rivals - I eventually committed. 3 weeks in - straighter and longer by far than my old Ping G30. Fitting is key and buy what suits you!
James is a top man and I am hearing lots of good results from the Rogue range Brian, play well
Good video review. I have tried the M 4 hybrid but just could not warm up to it. Not crazy about how there is no alignment mark on top either. I am finding I am really liking the Ping line of clubs. Hybrids, Woods. Love em. Spider Dubiel
The Evenflow 85 Hybrid shaft makes this club come alive!!! Nice review!!!
I liked it in the 3 wood
I have the rogue irons, they’re awesome then I have ping 3-5 wood. Debating to get the rogue hybrid so to the eye at address it’s more like my rogue irons or the ping to have more like my fairway woods.
Thanks a lot for the great review ... can you kindly guide what will be the difference as far as distance is concerned between Rogue 2 hybrid vs any modern 3 fairway wood
Hi Andy, it's good to see the bad shots,(not that you hit many bad ones 😀)as it gives an indication of how forgiving the club is.
I am trying to get software which will show ball flight again on Trackman, this shows ball flight and shape, and shows my shots warts and all better than just the dispersion chart at the moment
Head shape reminds me of the fusion hybrid. Which was a good club as well
Cant remember the Fusion but defo like the steelhead
I look for consistency. Easy to setup and hit that gives a consistent distance and dispersion. The M4 was better from your metrics.
agreed
Just received my t-shirt and damm things too big! It's there any chance of returning it for a different size?
haha, you been dieting? Can you get it back to us and I will arrange a smaller size no problem
Dieting?? Watch your language!! Yeah if you pm me a address then I will return then one I have. Failing that we can just do a straight swap at Easter.
Great review! Hybrids are supposed to be easier to hit, but I can’t seem to find one I can hit well. Do you personally hit them like fairways or more like irons?
I have struggled with some hybrids Joe as you know I have a tendancy to hook and this can be the case with hybrids, I strike like an iron I suppose
Try the g 400 Hybrids if you haven't. I think you might hit the pretty well.
Love your reviews, do need to work out the camera angles a tad better please...
Will do my best Terry
Looks like the hybrid was based on Barney Adams [of Adams Golf] previous models. I'm guessing the Rogue is more forgiving across the face and wouldn't suffer from the big draws you get off other hybrids. #justathought
Thats a valid point Joe
Still using 2 Adams hybrids, not hit anything better. Still enjoy the reviews and it reminds me how much money i have saved by not jumping on the 'new club gravy train' :)
Where did it go wrong for Adams, they made the best hybrids?
I believe it was when TayorMade got their hands on them.

The problem with hybrids is that they come out so often that once you buy the latest version a new better version comes out and the club you have is outdated and the rest of the club will bully you by beating you with pickles......
Ive never been beaten with pickles...that is bad bullying
They only become obsolete in marketing terms. In terms of form and function a 3 year old hybrid isn't going to be any less functional or efficient than a new one but for minor and inconsequential differences.
Jonny pen so I understand what you mean but how are you supposed to impress your mates with a m2 fairway wood
I impress my mates by beating them on the course...lol. For a few years I gamed a $150 set of clubs I bought at a local big box store and still beat my buddies playing golf. It's only recently I got into premium equipment for the pleasure of it and in the hopes of fine tuning things to suit my game as it has improved substantially in the last few years.
what is the difference between rogue X hybrid and rogue X 4 hybrid ?
Do you have access to the Mizuno CLK hybrid?
Yes I do, will look at soon
can you review Mizuno CLK Hybrid next please???
Will do soon
good stuff mate, nice one! really enjoy the reviews! might be on the way to foregolf to get fitted soon too!!
Rogue x or steelhead X-r hybrid?
Odd looking hybrid, lemme tell you tough. When I square it up, it flies a long distance
Never had a TaylorMade that was decent. Over priced and poor construction.. Callaway products are better quality, but no hybrids are made better or hit better than Bobby Jones by Jesse Ortiz
I perfer the Japanese craftsmanship in the irons. TM is junk the sims look like a fucking circus.
where can I get an average golfer hat
good review Andy, looks an ugly club tho
Agreed
It’s ugly
poetry
That is seriously ugly. For me the look does impact my performance with the club.
Agree with both sentences John
Cracking honest video as always Andy.
thanks
