Thank you very much. It's amazing that you did this almost 3 years ago, but upgrades generally happen well after machines come out, so it is not surprising. Anyway, I wanted to highlight that I really appreciated you including the trouble spots that you encountered because it makes it more realistic for me and it makes it easier for me to see what I might run into and how I might solve these issues.
Thank you for the guide. Those screw lock mechanism on the bottom take a significant amount of force to remove, I was worried I was gonna break something, but sure enough they opened up.
Hi from Peru. Thank you very much for the information and the detailed and accurate explanation. I have done the whole procedure on my HP Pavilion All-In-One 24-r109la, changing the HDD hard drive to a SSD and installed more RAM capacity. Thank you!
Great help my friend! Spent about 45 minutes trying to work out how to open the case without cracking the casing, after those 2 bloody screws at the bottom had me confused!!! Your excellent video had it sorted in about 2 minutes!! Many thanks!
Many thanks! Very very useful. Shows what to do in a way that the service manual simply does not. As others have said, makes it simple to remove the back to get at the components. And, for me, it also enabled me to get the back on easily and the stand, too.
Thank you, have a old all in one was gonna junk because thought too crazy to work on or couldn't upgrade, SSD are cheap now so definitely will do this and add some RAM, Mine is totally different model and hope won't be much harder
Thank you very much for the information in this video. It has helped me to upgrade my ssd on my HP all in one. thank you and I encourage you to keep making good videos like this one.
Excellent instructions - if you reverse the pc with the top facing away from you then you can lift the back case (carefully) without the need to disconnect the dvd and prop it up while you (gently) remove the hard drive. Obviously a delicate operation but saves a step and avoids possible damage to dvd cable by disconnecting it.
Thank you so much for this guide it made me feel easier about working in this machine. It actually turned out to be surprisingly easy and satisfying as well.
Hi - your video was very helpful. . . do you happen to have a video on my particular HP all in one model 24-K0205ST. I am getting a message each time i use my pc saying I am very low on storage. I have already cleaned both HDs (C & D). I also, compressed both hard drives without any success. My only choice left is to replace my HD with an 4 TB SSD. Would the new 4TB SSD HD work with the existing hard seamlessly?
Thanks, but I can't believe you went to all this trouble without showing us where exactly the memory dimms are! I assume hidden under the motherboard cover, it would be nice to see it though.
My 24-r014 screen is popping out from the right side , the touch is still functioning as normal , i cant find any article online about other users having that issue , it appears it can be glued back , when pressed back it it stays glued for a while and ,then slowly pops out back , have u ever came across this problem? if so can i just glue it back from popping
hi i was directed to your video when I searched up hp pavilion all in one 24 r0xx and mine seems to be the exact same model as yours just named differently do you maybe know the reason behind that?
To open the pc would a metal ruler work to open the casing open? Or do you need that special tool? If you need the tool can you comment what it is called please.
