This is a great, thorough case review video. May I suggest that you add another test to your case reviews? When you test the screen in the case, please make sure you test swipe gestures from the edges of the screen. Sometimes, those bulky cases will interfere with any swipe gestures from the edge of the screen (like the back swipe, etc.). TFS!
I appreciate your very in depth review! I watched this primarily to get a look at the VRS Design case, as having a card slot would be very convenient for me. I didn't realize the case would be so loose on the phone, and I appreciate you pointing it out so I know what to expect once I purchase it. Another aspect (that you didn't touch on, but the video demonstrated it) was the lack of a screen protector for the outer screen. My current case (Vizvera) has a built in screen protector, which I appreciate, but makes the touch screen less responsive.
Think the 2 best are the araree and the ub pro but don't really like the plastic hinge protector bc it gets in way of it sitting flat and viewing in landscape
New subscriber. Thanks for your very informative & detailed review. I always have to have a nice protective case on my phones because they’re not cheap. Happy Holidays 🎄
Hi Jake thanks appreciate the feedback. I add that to the video because there are some cases that are very hard to take off. I’ve seen that with some OtterBox cases especially when I did the Flip 3 I believe.
nice wright up i had the samsung slicone case made the phone heavy and buky i went with the sipgen air skin case nice case very thin keep up the good work
I ordered the supcase one. looks to me to be the best protection wise. Too bad it doesn't have magnet because I have a magnetic car mount. I just put on a magnet sticker hope it solves it. i can also change the car mount if needed. The protection of my phone is the most important and it also looks really cool and secure.
I find with hinge protectors, they are good to protect the hinge from falls and scrapes it might come into contact with but I found with my fold 5 although I was very careful with it and took it out of the case very often to clean it of any dust and debris, I still had scratches down my hinge due to possibly things getting caught under the hinge protector then damaging the hinge as it’s trapped under the protector if that makes sense. Dust would also have the potential of getting caught under the protector and possibly forcing its way into the screen, so thinking to rock my flip 5 with no hinge protection.
Bugger I just ordered the beefier wallet Go case from VRS Design, I cannot see it being much different to the one you've reviewed in terms of the case slipping off. I'll be sending it back it's a good thing I have a Supcase Unicorn Bettle Pro on its way so that looks to be a better option as I can live without storing a card in the VRS slot.
I just wanted to say RIP to Brooklyn. I'm assuming she's the dog but seeing as she was alive at the moment of your recording, I'm not sure. Anyways, great review and best wishes.
I'm a little skeptical of that $20 military-grade no-name brand case. Have you actually done drop tests with it? If you look closely, the Amazon page lists the wrong military standard. It says 810G 515.6, but I looked that up and that has something to do with a material’s response to very loud noise such as from a jet engine, rocket engine, or power plant. The certification it's supposed to have for shock/drop impact is 810G 516.6. Off by one digit. So I'm wondering if they just ripped that from somewhere and it's fake or something.
Oddly, I just saw that Supcase's Amazon page also makes the same mistake and calls it 810G 515.6, although you have it as 516.6 in the video and I tend to believe it more for Supcase since they won CNET's drop test.
Sorry to hear about Brooklyn, my condolences. Love your channel and Brooklyn will be missed.
Thanks so much for this detailed review! Just wanted to say I am sorry for your loss🙏 wishing peace, light and love for Brooklyn's next journey ❤️🩹🕯️

Thanks STORMY ⛈️ welcome to the Fam and the channel 👍🏼
Thank you for these vids on the flip 5 just got mines and this case 1 is helpful
My pleasure, thank you
Thanks for all the reviews. I’m not sure how “easy to take off” is good when a phones design makes it hard for cases to stay on.

Loved this! Thank you!

The booklet that comes with the phone says to keep credit cards away from the phone because the phone has magnets.

Thanks buddy
"Faux" is pronounced "foe" and means fake. Just fyi...nice vid
i have the flip 5 what is a better case the spigen or the ringke case i want the mint color case thank you
Both good brands, spigen is a little more well known. Vrs design makes a mint case also good brand see link below
amzn.to/3F6Pd0P
Magsafe cases are a must for me as I have magnetic chargers at home and in the car. So the vast majority of these cases are no good for me
Good feedback
Spigen makes a Tough Pro Military-Grade case for the Flip 5. Maybe find a time to sneak that into any updated Case-test videos? 😋
Spigen was late to market and might still be in many places. We will see thanks 👍🏼
Wow. What Brand/Model is that Wireless Charger used in your video???
Samsung amzn.to/3SCx6bl
Which do you prefer the sup case or the tongate?
Supcase myself
@@TechMadeEzy thank you!
