Good review. It's interesting with your models and pricing. In Australia we get 4 models of the Everest. Ambiente, Trend, Sport and top spec is the Titanium. Both the Sport and the Titanium have a new 3ltr V6. The lower two specs have the 2tlr biturbo. Pricing is a lot different too. Current Top spec MUX LST is $65,000. Everest Trend $70,000 without touring pack ( towbar and 360 camera) $2700 .Heated seats $900. The Sport is around $80,000 and the Titanium around $90,000 so they are a lot more expensive.
Excellent review of the PPV offerings. The warranties also seem to be a little bit better on paper but I guess it all comes down to actual claims and if its really needed. This won't be so clear until after several years but I agree that they all seem to have good reputations for reliability.
Just a suggestion, if you could disclose maintenance cost after the free service would help consumers decide /gauge the best one for their requirements.

Hey jay. Ive been following you since you had a baby voice. Thats like 10 years ago. Im now planning to buy a 7 seater SUV and my choices are ford titanium everest 4x4 or mazda cx9 exclusive. I know theyre different type of SUV but can the cx9 compete with everest titanium 4x4 on pave’d road? TIA keep up the good work
That’s a long time ago :) the cx9 should ride a bit better on paved roads. Thanks to its lower center of gravity and independent rear suspension, it should sway less on uneven roads. It’s also a bit more quiet thanks to its gasoline engine. The advantage of the everest is that it’s more rugged. If you plan to occasionally drive on dirt roads, the everest should be a better match for you. The everest is also more fuel efficient and its priced a lot lower than the cx9 exclusive
Ok naman po siya? I mean di pa pinapasakit ulo nyo? Planning to trade lur chevrolet trailblazer 2015 to either Fortuner GRS 2023 or Ford Everest Titanium+ 2023

The Titanium 4x2 lacks ADAS which puts it at a disadvantage to its competitors. It still has a nice interior though, a panoramic sunroof and the same quiet cabin as the other variants
Nice video and Happy Holidays Jaywalkur! I do agree with you in these exept for Toyota Fortuner. I still think the Fortuner still lacks features and too overpricing. Q and upper variants has ADAS but those ADAS is kinda bad bcs adaptive has a limit speed and lane keep assist cannot keep you go straight in the road. Plus Fortuner lacks Electronic Brake with Autohold, Sunroof, and full digital speedometer (its only for information). I still really think Ford Everest Titanium 4x4 is the best out of them but I wish Ford also added ADAS, Parking Assist, and 360 cam in its lower variants or even the Titanium 4x2. I also have a question, is Cherry Tiggo 8 also a PPV? Thank you Jaywalkur 😊
Sorry for the late reply. The Tiggo 8 is not a PPV as it has no pick up counterpart. It's also different from PPVs in that it has a unibody chassis. So it's more of a crossover SUV.
This would vary depending on the dealership and the personel so this is unfortunately a question that i cannot answer without a good deal of speculation

This may not be something that puts value on why most people choose PPV based vehicle but for some who buy SUVs for its real purpose iT IS the reason why we choose PPV based SUVs. It's their 4x4 system and I think you failed to include that in this review. It's great you reviewed the aesthetics, features/tech, space and other areas to which it helps majority of the buyers to decide. But it lacks the true and overall value as to why SUVs use PPV frames, it's for the overall usability and durability to which they are designed for, and that includes its 4x4 system. Hope that helps on your next review. Cheers!
That is true. One of the reasons why people buy these top of the line PPVs is for their 4x4 capability. I do test the off road capabilities of most of these vehicles in my individual reviews. The Everest has the most off road tech like a differential lock, an off road camera and different off road traction control modes. It would difficult to determine 2nd and 3rd place though as while I drove the Mu-X and the Terra off road, I didn't test them to their limits. And I have yet to drive the Montero and the Fortuner off road.
