In a nutshell... The Fortuner looks aggressive with a tougher ride, while the Terra looks on the matured side and having a relaxed ride. Moreover, I think I'm more interested about the location of this shoot...🤔

Blessed enough to have both, I would say it has its own pros and cons.
For the Nissan Terra, it is best in the class for ride comfort with its suspension and anti-gravity seats. It also has a more luxurious interior thanks to that HUD in the dashboard, e-brake, and red leather interior. The tech on this SUV is also crazy loaded. The least likeable thing from the Terra for me is the engine. It feels underpowered, especially in the lower gear. I feel like the pairing of the engine and transmission is not seamless.
For the Toyota Fortuner, you would feel that the ride comfort is a bit stiffer compared to the former. But it has drastically improved from its previous models. I love that it also has a red leather interior accent, cooling seats, and accents lights all over. It sure feels loaded as well and everything feels durable yet comfortable. ALSO, THE ENGINE FOR THE LTD IS POWERFUL. The best reason to purchase this SUV, however, is its resale value and practicality. As we all know, Toyota is the king of resale value, so this is a big consideration especially if you're the type of person who would buy a car and sell it after five years or so (especially because of the fact that cars right now are only built to have a shorter lifespan).
Overall, I say go for Nissan Terra if you prefer comfort, tech and space. But if you prefer practicality and reliability, go for the Toyota Fortuner.

For someone who loves to drive long distances for therapeutic purposes & does not speed up like a race car driver (I live in Negros Occ.), comfort will really matter. In the audiophile hobby, it's simply called a "blind test". It is used to avoid biases towards looks and brands, and focus solely on the sound to gauge which one is better. And I was almost expecting this, where a JBL system will sound "warmer" and "fuller" (also bassier), and a Bose system, while also mostly tuned "V" (thus the monicker, "highs and lows...Bose"), will sound a touch "thinner" and a touch more treble-ish.
Anyway, for the actual comparo, Terra for me. I am not an SUV fan. What I love is MPVs. And yet on the space test, the cargo space configuration on the Terra is much like a flat-folding MPV (e.g. an Xpander or an Ertiga, where you also fit "6" balikbayan boxes).
Power, the Fortuner. Tech, I think they are neck and neck. But ride comfort? I feel like that's a no-contest as even Fortuner owners admit that the ride is quite "robust". It's an SUV though so I don't think that's a detriment. It's more of a personal preference towards a more comfortable ride for me.
Great comparo as always, Caco and team! Keep 'em coming!

That "T" badge means something to many people including price difference. It also doesn't matter if they've only owned and driven Toyota's. However, that "T" badge also means sacrificing ride and drive comfort/quality and passenger/cargo volume and that's many many kilometers of bouncing around and not being able to take that extra "balikbayan box" or 2!

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Isn't it Terra probably arguably one of the most beautiful SUV in the market right now compare to the Fortuner. The amenities are paramount especially the comfort and the technology they offer. But, for some reason when it comes to reliability, the resale value and the ease of parts availability, Toyota always win it. When you go back to the 1st generation of both this vehicle you could see the differences between the style, the resale value which the Fortuner is still relevant and more buck's for your money. Now, if you think you are not going to own the SUV for a long time then I will go for the Terra. Overall, I think you won't regret owning either one of them.

During the process, I discovered that the Fortuner at that time, doesn't have a bkup camera and so discouraged of the side fold up rear seats. I was attracted and switched to much cheaper Rush. It has the bkup camera. Other than looks nice, small and good transportation around town. I regret, Rush is very basic. Lack of power, loud and bumpy. Should have bought Everest at that time but no dealer nearby. After just 3 months of usage, Looking forward into getting rid of this Rush. I was Rushed into buying the Rush😂😊.

For my first car, I had choices like the Fortuner, Everest, Terra, and Montero. I ended up with the LTD 4x4 2022, but I've regretted it due to the bumpy ride and stiff steering of the Fortuner. I even thought about selling it and going for an Everest instead. However, I'm sticking with it for now and saving up for an LC upgrade down the road!

My choice is Nissan because their Aircon system is more reliable when it comes to coldness. They're renowned for that for more than 3 decades nothing can match.

In india the whole market of seven seater is occupied by fortuner. In india it's become the symbol of Power because vvip in india love fortuner. But it quite costly in india in compare with other countries.😎🇮🇳

I'll still choose the Fortuner even on its less comfort in terms of ride quality compared to the Terra ,coz I've been riding on tricycles my whole life so the Fortuner would definitely have a comfortable ride than those of what i'm used to🤣🤣🤣, and besides. ..Toyota's are indestructible💯💪
I wish to have my own one day💯❤️😁

Any diesel with more than 400NM is enough torquier honestly. Or after should go for a Twin Turbo diesel V6 with 700+ NM, for a super torquier engine.

    • @noobxhit7011
      @noobxhit7011 Год назад +2

@@OrvinReyes it depends on the buyer. Ford are for those who can afFORD high costly maintenance like the new one which uses belt instead of chain on timing which kinda scary especially when the timing loosen then it'll be a big problem. Cons of the terra for me is more on the aesthetic side like lack of sunroof and auto tailgate only not to mention bout adaptive cruise control bcs im not a fan of it. The cons of ford naman is the timing belt, high maintenance cost and not so powerful engine especially new model of ford that's aren't meant for remap thingy. Terra in stock can go 190 and 220 on remap while eve is 183. Honestly, terra has one of the slowest among its competition from a launch 0 to 100 but different story on the roll start👌. Conclusion: terra is for power, safety, reliable and comfort
ford: luxurious spacious and comfortable suv

@@noobxhit7011 thanks brother... im not really a car guy so these kind of info helps. im all for practicality, reliability and predictability. tempted to get the everest (best value base model) but terra seems the more reasonable choice in long term
