Also, Did you know that this is the first remix of the zanza theme on youtube? We're making history here today.
The reason there were no remixes of Zanza before this is because everybody had the mindset of "No, I'm gonna mess it up."
But you didn't, and that is damn impressive.

I gotta say, you did very well with this. I'd say you gave one of my favorite songs from this game some 8-Bit justice.
Zanza is my favorite villain, he's really cool and easy to remember, but you hate him so much that when you finish him off with monado buster it feels soooooooooooooooooooooooooo good. Plus his story is amazing!

(Majors spoilers from Xenoblade 2 and some from Xenoblade 1 👇)
but Amalthus is the big villain, if it wasn't him, Jin and Malos could still be good people (well, Jin would have died when Lora would die of old, and that wouldn't be a bad thing, they would live their lives happy... And eventually someone else would be his Driver but himself would be someone else with the same physics characteristics of his old self)
But... We can't deny that the actions of the people of Alrest made Amalthus like that. And these same people is what made Klaus letting Amalthus take the Aegises so that them would reset the world so that Klaus would try to make a better humanity.
But I think, making a rational being will always make these not worth people, unfortunately I think that dream of Klaus can't be reached. Glad he found actually people who gives he hope in the end.
I think all that just explain why the villains in Xenoblade 2 are so well written. And explaining the origin of Zanza makes we understand him better, because different of Klaus, all he knew was himself and his power, he never had a life as a person who have people to mind or anything, this is why Zanza just wanted to erase the life of Bionis to he keep existing.
(And I think that is why Klaus was so old and not being able to do many things, maybe if he did the same to the people of Alrest he would be that powerful god Zanza was)
This world is truly worth saving. This world has no need for gods. Zanza, the corrupt God and soul of the Bionis. He planned to wipe out all life on the Bionis so he may recreate it once again, like he has done many times before. Zanza even killed Meyneth, and Egil while he was controlling Yaldabaoth, all so he could achieve his twisted goal.

+paulinethegreat1 The NES actually HD relatively good voice quality for something made in the early 1980's and not made for voice recordings. It's just that voice took up a colossal amount of space on actual NES cartridges, which is why a lot of voice clips sound bad. They couldn't fit everything into a cartridge.
Jimbert Himbert I had a general idea that vocals were possible in songs from the NES era, or at least, the Super Nintendo, which now that I think about it, is slightly older than could be considered related. I meant that someone should actually sing a cover of this. It would be awesome. This song is why you join choir.

I just learnt that 'Zanza' can also mean an African tongued instrument.
Somebody, make a cover of Zanza on a Zanza. Another name for this instrument is 'Kalimba'. Somebody who knows how to handle and play on it, please, do at multi-track overlaid on top of each other, that would be awesome.

Back when I was dabbling a bit with Famitracker, I wanted to do Xenoblade songs, but, well, those were my "early" music composition days, so I wasn't necessarily good at arranging music.
