I sectioned my hair with my fingers and twisted it, then put rubber bands on them to hold them in place for like a week, then went from there. Oil when necessary, wash when necessary and just kept it moving. Some sea salt spray every once in a while to help with locking but he’s right, it’s simple.
So I two strand twist it and then I put locking gel and crochet needle in my hair or do I two strand twist it then twist out locking gel and crochet needle
He literally said he had that hair before if u even watched the vid then later he showed more progress and it looked similar to the thumbnail so he’s not lying he helped y’all out
Yes you can. Freeform locs mean they are formed naturally without any manipulation. That includes twisting, parting, sizing...you just allow your hair to come together on its on. This method is semi-freeform as the hair has been manipulation to make the locs versus forming "freely".
@@shaffy856 Ohhh that makes sense, and what if my hair is kind of soft and wavy and I want to do the dreads like IShowSpeed? could I still do it even if I don't have frizzy hair?
@@moisip3384 if you have a 1-2 hair type you can’t get rough free forms like Ishowsped. However you can get free form dreads but they’d look much different and not as textured.
@@moisip3384 I have very soft hair and I freeform. My hair started locing within days and after 18 months my head is fully loc'd except for new growth of course. Your hair will not look like this, and you may have "grinch fingers" if your hair doesnt is on the wavy side of curly You can look up freeform on curly hair get other ideas.
