- Today I'm going to show everyone how I twist/curl my hair since everyone keeps asking. (No I don't use the sponge and I don't recommend it)
Products/Materials
Eco Style Olive Oil Styling Gel
Cantu Shea Butter Leave In Conditioning Cream
Cantu Shea Butter for Natural Hair Define & Shine Custard
Water
Soft/Medium Hair Brush

Remember to stay clean.. lol
Wash hair with shampoo.
Dry off but not completely.
Wet hair again.
Next apply gel to hair.
Use a medium or soft texture brush and start swirling.
Re wet when needed

Man Ive been wanting this look for years but I’ve been using the sponge. Tried this method (with different hair products) and within minutes got the hair wanted. Great vid bro

1. A shampoo of your choice
2. Eco style gel or any gel really just make sure you know if it's good gel (and I believe you brush around this time idk go on the video and you'll see whether or not if you brush after applying the gel or after the curling cream)
3. Then use the Cantu curling cream or custard
4. Leave in condition
5. And oil if you want too

1. Do not shampoo your hair everyday.
2. He mentions the Cantu flakes, that could be because Cantu and Eco Styler dont always mix well, so if you don't want flakes use one or the other instead of both.

I shampoo my hair like only once a week tbh
It's not that bad to wash you hair everyday because if you do all it will do is dread up

Shampooing strips the natural oils in your hair and scalp, and because coarse hair dries out quicker and easier than non-coarse hair, it needs those oils. So washing everyday will dry your hair and scalp out, make your hair brittle, and cause breakage.

@@devonnjonjo7217 typically yes. For whatever reason, our hair, after a certain length, the sponge isn't effective. I just stopped altogether once mine grew back out. His hair is extremely thick and he prefers this way.

Huh! Amazing, lol. Native American guy here with pin straight hair about 3/4 down my back, just found myself watching hair videos then stumbled upon this. I've always wondered how black people style their hair, it looks cool how it seems to stick straight up all the time. Personally I have to wash my hair every single day because of how oily it gets, then I sit in front of a fan for a while until it's mostly dry, then I comb it out and that's it, lol.

I like your tutorial regarding short hair twists. I use Cholesterol conditioner after shampooing. I use Cholesterol conditioner also as a hair gel when I gel dressed and go in public. Friends at first thought that they were professionally done until I did my hair in their presence

another thing is even if you dont have waves and have 4-6 inches of hair you should wear a durag because the material is going to maintain the curls and your hair will be less frizzy while if you sleep on cloth your hair will be frizzy

My guy you should always use conditioner after a shampoo. Even a good shampoo like Cantu is taking moisture from your hair. And you should put your leave in conditioner and oil before the gels. Putting the gel in first will prevent some of the leave in conditioner from getting in.

Spray it with something to keep it moisturised and shining. Don’t wet it with water too much tho just light amounts
