By the way it is a myth that pores are temperature sensitive meaning that no matter what temperature the pores won’t open or close... but it is advised to use lukewarm water (I copied this from my previous comment somewhere in the comment section)
For shampoo use Luke warm water, cold water seals the cuticle, it's like warm water to open pores and cold water to close pores on your face to give you that tight healthy look... but cold water use to rinse out conditioner which seals it in you don't really want to seal in shampoo
By the way it is a myth that pores are temperature sensitive meaning that no matter what temperature the pores won’t open or close... but it is advised to use lukewarm water just saying
By the way it is a myth that pores are temperature sensitive meaning that no matter what temperature the pores won’t open or close... but it is advised to use lukewarm water
My guy it's actually warm water that opens up your pores which is what u need to do then rinse out with cold water as cold water closes your pores which leaves the nutrients of the conditioner and the products in your hair as it grows.
To dry curly hair, use a micro fleece towel. It wont cause damage or putting a hair blower on the coldest setting with a diffuser if you want to dry it faster. But I found drying naturally my curls come out better but apparently it leaves a bigger window for hair to become damage cause curly hair is fragile
You’re not supposed to rub conditioner directly to your scalp because it clogs your hair follicles, try to keep it just in the strands of hair. And also warm water opens pores not cold water
You're the only person I've seen to use a leave in the right way from the roots and not the top only. So many people leave the middle of their hair dry af.
my hair is 4 c hair in the front and sides and 4 b hair in the back at the nape of my neck to stop shrinkage all you have to do after your hair dries braid it then re add products and there you go; it won't shrink again unless you wash it over with shampoo . but if conditioned your hair 3 times a week without washing it it wont shrink...

He has curly hair guys. His hair just needed moisture/water and a quick shake to bring it to life. He has like 3C/4A hair which is already noticeably curly on it's own.
Do I ask for a fade without the top flat. I've never been to a baber shop so I'm new to this. My dad doesn't know how to cut this style this time so I'm going to a barber. Like what do you use to tell your barber to do to your hair. How do I make my hair drop like yours. Do I have to ask for a fade or what.
Wash your hair with WARM water, you RINSE your hair with cold water to CLOSE your hair cuticle. Rinsing your hair with hot water will fuck up your hair routine.
By the way it is a myth that pores are temperature sensitive meaning that no matter what temperature the pores won’t open or close... but it is advised to use lukewarm water
ik this video was 2 years ago but i finally found the best curly hair vid for me and is works best for me and im glad he said cold water cause im always using hot well not that hot but warm water to open my pours and thank u for making this vid i really need it.
Cold water actually closes the cuticles of your hair, which results in shiny hair because all the cuticles are lying flat and reflecting the light. Hot water opens up the cuticles which helps the hair receive the moisture from your products. So in reality, you should be washing with warm water and rinsing with cold water.
Nope! If your using the Loc (leave-in conditioner, oil, curling cream) method or the Lco (leave-in conditioner, curling cream, oil) method, you Gotta use Leave-in conditioner, and Then apply the curling cream. It keeps your hair from getting dry and itchy, and killin the curls. Moisture is key.
Yah this tutorail isnt really relevant to my hair type but i found your hair entertaining. Its always fun guessing whether there black, african, or afro carribbean.
PartyClasher, I'm assuming he's referring to African Americans when he says black because they are on average 20% European which alters their genetic makeup (hair, skin colour, skull structure etc.) making them somewhat distinct from Africans, and Caribbeans like myself tend to be mixed with something, in my case it's white and Middle East Indian
