I've never done hairstyles like this before. Being a young g-ma of a mixed grandson I've been watching so many videos to help me to do his hair. He is almost 2 and I really want him to look his best, so watching your video has helped me to learn to do twist. I can't wait to get started. Thank you!
My son hair is this exact length. My Money is low and I can’t afford to get it done. I told myself… I will go to RUclips to see if I can get some ideas. Your video was the FIRST God sent me to… and I’m so thankful! I have faith in myself and I can’t wait to try this later on my baby hair! Ma’am you did such a good job and I hope mines turns out looking good like this. This will save me money! God bless you and your handsome little man! Thank you so much for sharing and making this look so easy. My 8 year old son is in the process of growing his hair out and it’s starting to look crazy lol but I will try this style on his hair this weekend. Thanks again 🙏🏾🥰
I love this video! I have a resident at the nursing home I work for who never gets her hair done "properly" because our staff doesn't know how or is to lazy to take the time to do her hair so her elderly sister isn't struggling to make it look nice (she does a great job but anyone can tell itd be a cleaner style if she were younger and could stand up long enough to do it in one sitting) I have been wanting to learn to style her hair to help her sister out and to help it grow out since she had a haircut given without permission (her sister noticed it٫ still don't know who did it without knowing how but they almost ruined her beautiful hair doing this) hopefully I will get the chance to do this style on her before I move to a new nursing home٫ thank you for all you do to educate people٫ its very much appreciated 💙

So glad I came across your video. My teenage son wants twist in his hair so I will be trying out your technique as well as the products you used in your son hair. Thank you for sharing this video.
Thanks so much for this video. I’ve been wanting to try this on my brothers hair. Should he get the sides shaped up first before doing the twisting or is afterwards fine?
if he wants to grow his hair out be careful with fading out the sides a lot i realized the hard way it messes with your curl pattern the more you do it
Great instructional video. I’ve seen it done this way. What would you recommend in a person with soft/thin hair use. It’s not a course/firm nothing abt my hair😢
Any tips for mixed kids hair?? I have one kid with very tight small curls that are shiny and soft, and another with coarse wavy extremely dry hair. The one with curls wants his hair long, but i need some ideas like this, but, how do i get them to STAY, because it just unwraps very qyick after spending so much time doing it.
I use the Xtreme gel on my son's. His hair is kind of dry but has a more curly/ringlets texture when he gets out the shower before it dries so when I do his twist his hair is damp when I start them. But cause he's not a C the coils last for weeks, but towards the scalp/root it starts to get more of a deadlock look cause it loosens & can get matted. With my C kid I use Cantu twisting gel/cream on his cause I do the 2 strand twists then separate them the next day. His hair is coarse, dry, kinky, tight curls on 75% of his head & it's like 5 inches long when combed out. They're mixed, black & Hispanic.
I love how his twists turned out! What is in the black bottle? I couldn't see the name of the product. Also, did you use the sealer and the gel together to twist it?
I need you to twist my hair. My boys have that good curly hair while I on the other hand have tight coils. Your son is so handsome. I remember that age now I can't pay for a kiss. Tfs

From someone who used to have long hair like Jesus, a guy on this search said “you should have real loc hair before you try to loc your hair”. What that means is you should be growing your hair out and learning the techniques to keep your original hair, then try to use the broken broke down hair to try to sharpen that up. I have been growing since a child, and had long hair as a baby. Cut it off, at 30 i started growing it back out. I have my original hairline back, my original hair, and my hair is starting to get length but I’m realizing it was better to treat it and condition it because now I can literally strand my hair out on my own. My point is, use what you have but always repair the broken hair that you have when getting real dreads/twisties..

I would try different gels, some a better for 4b 4 c hair and some make them frizzy. For mixed I would just test out a few

How long do they last? My son wants this and I want to try but he also has a consult with a professional in 2 weeks.
They stay for about a week on my sons hair if I tie it up lol

How long does this style last
About 2 and a half weeks if you cover at night and moisturize❤️
