  • This video is a tutorial on how to get extra moist two double strand twist on short natural men, teen, or boys hair. This is a beginner friendly tutorial and you can do it yourself with a few simple steps and it also helps promote fast hair growth. This natural 4c hairstyle is for all texture types. I first started off by washing the natural kinky hair, then DETANGLE the hair using a comb. Next, I blow dry the hair on a low setting and then apply a heat protectant. Followed by sectioning the hair in 3 sections. First from ear to ear then a middle part creating two sections at the top of the head and one section at the back. It’s a great protective style and promote hair growth. If you are tired of your hair being dry and brittle, then watch this video. This method also helps with hair growth if done properly.

    Hello my name is Joey aka SilverSaturn700 I like twist and braids. They don’t last long behind have to wash or I get itchy. I wanted to know what products are best for my mom to use. I get flakes if she uses moose or the green gel. She switches things up to test products and will sometimes just put oil to help me but I know my mom has a bad back so I would like it to last longer but still look nice. Also what is a great blow dryer with a brush and how do I make the braids last without rubber bands at the bottom. Thank you 😊

    • @beautyatwill8972
      @beautyatwill8972  Год назад +1

      Hey Joey thanks for watching but I think the shine n jam is a good product that don’t flake at all and a good blow dryer is in the description. My son uses a durag at night to help keep his hair fresh looking. I hope this helps

    • @beautyatwill8972
      @beautyatwill8972  9 месяцев назад +2

      The best two strand twist in my opinion to start locs is the one that uses less products. The less products you use the better the locking process and it reduces the possibility of unraveling.

    How long does this style last? When I do it, after he goes to bed, the twists go after a day?

    • @beautyatwill8972
      @beautyatwill8972  11 месяцев назад +1

      My son twist last for two weeks before I redo them. He always sleeps with a durag on to prevent unraveling. It depends on hair texture as well sometimes looser curls patterns unravel easier

  • @KoolHolyKnight

    Does this help lock hair creating dreadlocks? If it does then how long to keep this in to lock my hair and take it out?

    • @beautyatwill8972
      @beautyatwill8972  10 месяцев назад +2

      It will start to create dreads if left in too long (about 4-6months)…..I wouldn’t let it stay in for more than 6 weeks. He usually gets his hair done every 2-3 weeks because he like to switch up

      @@beautyatwill8972 thx for replying and telling me what I need, I have another question, what would happen if I let it sit for 6 weeks? I want dreads so maybe this will help me obtain them

    • @beautyatwill8972
      @beautyatwill8972  10 месяцев назад +2

      You’re welcome. Letting them stay in for 6 weeks, you will just have two strand twists that will eventually start to get frizzy and have new growth at the roots. Some people love the frizzy look. Getting locs it’s a lot of stages that happens before you get the look you desire, but all stages are unique and special.

      Well the two strand twist itself will turn into dreads eventually if you leave them in for months. It will be difficult to separate them after months. I would just do the size I want my dreads to be in the size of the two strand twist.
