Hi! 😅 So there's a backstory as to how I came across your video. So in reading this book right now and I was trying to get an idea of what some of the character's hair looked like. (You know when you're reading you kinda make up a picture in your head of what you imagine the characters look like?) But the book's descriptions of people's hair were TOTALLY over my head. Like an idiot trying to read an advanced form of English, because I had no clue what the words like plaits, braid out, locs, twists/flat twists, coils/coily, even meant. So obviously, I came to the internet, and your video came up while I was looking at stuff. Okay, that's the back story of why I'm here, and yes your video helped put a picture in my head. But I'm now commenting for totally unrelated reasons! I ended up watching your whole video because I'm female and I can't help but love watching any hair video. And holy cow! Wow! There's a couple compliments I have to give you now! 1) Good job! His hair was looking good when you finished! 2) 2 hours of work is some serious dedication! Dang woman! 👏👏 I'm too lazy to spend half that time on my OWN hair, forget my kids. 3) Your kid just sat there... The whole time... While you did their hair.... As a mom, I NEED you to tell me HOW. I don't care if it's a magic spell, I don't care if I need to sell my soul, I'll do it, sign me up. My 2 kids? The second the brush even touches their hair they start screaming and crying as if it's child abuse. Even when there's no tangles. Sheesh.

This is exactly how I finger coil my sons hair, BUT you just put me on to the refresher spray and sitting him under the dryer at the end! Thank you💕! New subscriber here!!
Wow!!! Just wow!!! I am currently getting finger coils for the last 3 or 4 months but im not happy. The stylist now was better then the last 2 because they were using wax and my scalp itch. My current stylist is using gels but Ampro protein gel. If you know any great stylist in Tampa, Florida let me know. Great work on his hair.

Doing it yourself you might tack on an extra 30 minutes at max because doing the back might be a little awkward but I know once you are done it’s well worth it…it’s very rewarding and it’s a great hairstyle..I will leave the link where I did my own finger coils, but my hair is thinner than his lol….let me know how it turns out 🤗link……ruclips.net/video/xgP05-sm2mk/видео.html

Do you need to use gel or can you use no products cuz I want my hair healthy. Also, can you do it on 3A hair as tightly as the person in this video?
You don’t have to use products and a person with 3a hair won’t have such a tight coil because their hair is a looser curl pattern
How long does this style last? My son has looser curls than yours and his twist don't last long. You did a great job!

Yes, absolutely it’s just like having comb coils but they would be the smaller dreads unless you make your coils larger

How long did the hair style take?
Even though they are small finger coils it was real quick because I didn’t have to part his hair, it took about 1 hour to complete

Most hairstyles charge between $20-$30 an hour and this takes less than 2 hours so roughly $40-$60
