- This is an Update Men's Curly Hair Tutorial pt.2 | Define Curls Natural Hair
A lot of people have been asking me for an updated video to see how my brother's hair is doing. This is more of a men's curly hair routine which means these should be the steps you take when you wash your hair. If this curly hair routine is done consistently then your hair should progressively get curlier and curlier every time and it will become a lot easier to do once your hair gets used to being in a routine. Your hair will also become less dry over time because it will be used to moisture. This routine will help you get defined curls and help them stay defined even after drying.
This full routine should be done once a week. Comment down below if you would like to see a video on how he maintains his hair during the week until he washes it again.
But for now, in case I can't get my brother to film again soon, make sure to invest in a cheap satin pillowcase (from walmart/target/amazon/etc) to sleep on at night. Most people sleep on cotton pillowcase which dry out the hair which is why many blacks sleep with a scarf/bonnet on. A satin pillowcase would be the alternative/equivalent to that. What you do each day depends on you personally but whenever your hair feels dry spray a little water on it, add a little bit of product, fluff out your curls with your hands (not a pik/comb) and that should bring your curls back to life.

@@favoribeneme4629 you can't lol (unless you plan on sitting under a dryer). Also, don't go outside like that with a wet scalp and wet hair. Try this style the night before and use a blow dryer on low heat to help it dry. Wear a bonnet to bed and voila! If you need to fluff it out a bit in the morning, do it gently (from the scalp to the middle of the curls but not to the end of the curls so you don't lose curl definition) while lightly misting it with a moisturizer. Seal with a light spray of oil (seal in the moisture)

Well, now I know its because I haven't been using enough product and putting in product while my hair was dry (damp at best). First video I’ve seen that actually makes sense without all the drama and theatrics. So I think it’s possible what I was doing wrong was only using the curling cream and not adding the gel. My hair texture is very similar to his. Thick and kinky. I think I’ll try this! It’s been a constant struggle to define my curls.

If there aren’t any results, I suggest you pick or comb out your hair, section it, and do two strand twists (Make sure you apply Cantu) let it sit for a few hours, or days to weeks. As you’re taking a shower undo it, and boom you’re curly. 👌🏾

I did it. I see it the curls in my head did exactly what is shown in the video. With my hands and get the tangles out before hand. I do not like doing my hair or washing it because it is along process. But I found something simple this video.

I use to do the same thing with aloe and cactus slime. Simply blend them and pour it in your hair after you wash it. Next shake up your hair a bit and run your fingers through it to septate the curls. It gives a much better look without all the chemicals and work.
