I noticed that after finger coils, when I detangle I lose more hair than usual. Should that be a concern?
you prolly aren't taking them down correctly. Or not keep it properly moisturized while it's in it coiled state, so when you detangle, it's more prone to breakage
Bro I had the same exact problem don’t finger coil them until there close to dreads and keep them moisturized like a really moisturizing cream/leave in and thoroughly detangle before coiling your hair and when take down coils go in section and detangle with a condtioner with slip and don’t rush through your hair and make sure your not coiling until you feel strands pulling out I learned form experience 😂💀
It gotta be slippery
Cause hair usually sheds but cause you have a protective style in for a week or 2 you shed 2 weeks worth of hair it’s normal
