I'm Brazilian and I consider Crhistone "kingfish" ingram to be an authentic representative of the old school blues.

I have heard him two years running at Portland Waterfront Blues Festival. There has been a small gap, but he is back this year. He is the real deal and I'm looking forward to his shredding again this year.
Yeah mee too, the mind blower was the "unplugged" set he did on the little Crossroads stage with Samantha Fish and Ty Curtis!! I talked to Ty about that day, him and Chris played on the big stage with her in Hot Pants... haha, great story, there are clips of those on YT... seriously funny stuff!
I avoid downtown/ riverfront like the plague! (Uhm, wait, like the plague not because of the plague,) I will definitely look at the schedule this year. Just to hear this amazing man!

First saw the fish at a "Wimbash jam" several years ago. Corey Glover said "this one's gonna be trouble" lol After picking up my jaw in agreement, it now seems a prophetic statment. Since then, I been crowing his praises to anyone i can. But damn, he's gone full wrecking machine. Imho, he's at a "once in a generation" level type of gun slinger, no doubt he's earned it. Whoever thinks guitar is dead, ain't seen the fish!
