From 3:24-5:54 is some of the best guitar phrasing I’ve heard in quite sometime regardless of any genre of music that I’ve been playing or listening to for the last 20 years..
He reminds me of Stevie Ray Vaughan in the way that the blues, guitar licks just flows out of him effortlessly. A very good guitarist. One of the best of most recent times.
As a white Australian that has grown up with my stepdad (blues musician) with muddy waters, bb King, Nat King Cole, Robert Johnson stevie Ray vahn Eric Clapton etc always playing in the background of my family home, this guy Kingfish has blown my brain sideways and upside down with his young talent! Can't wait to see what comes from him next. Sooooo much love and I can't keep the tears from flowing from happiness for the amazing music he is making 🙏🎶😍❤️👌♥️
Noone...noone like Christone Ingram in the wide world. Every note a color, every phrase a work of art. NOTHING but love and respect. Long live the King.
Anyone listening to this, you owe it to yourself to check out Michael Burks' Empty Promises. That will lead you to other MB tunes and it will be evident, he is the MAN. RIP Big Mike.
That solo will pull from the body and take you anywhere you desire to go, try it! Long lost lover? Never found lover? Never found yourself? It’s out there!
When I see him play all I can think is A Mothers Love is the most important aspect to his career and skill set. She made sure he had this path and sacrificed every aspect of her life to ensure he would be who he is right now. Know his life and know his story so that you can use it as an example for all you do going foreward.
Greatest guitarist I've heard in my 32 of living. I'm not talking about blues, metal or any other genre I'm talking about pure guitarist. This guy can play whatever he chooses to play and he'll be miles ahead of the competition. I've never gotten goosebumps the way I do when I hear this man play. I've listened to all the great guitarists of the last 60 years and this guy surpasses them all by a long shot.
I like how there are very few people with their phones in the audience. Most of them are really in the feels and enjoying unlike the gen z with their phones always sticked to their hand
He’s a genius!!! The way he’s mixing scales and modes for dramatic effect is so incredible. I’m getting major Frampton vibes!!! With some Gary Moore and Robin Trower thrown in. But most of all, I hear him!!! He makes that guitar speak!!! That little descending lick at 6:40 seriously gave me goosebumps!!! It was simple, but so tasteful!!!
He knows how to get out of the pentatonic scale...A snippet of a cleaner major sound keeps it interesting...A piece of B flat.. A piece of C like what he did at 6.40 was smooth af. Only criticism from me is that he uses the wah pedal a little too much for my liking...Others may disagree though.
@@Khaled91 I used to use the wah pedal much like Kingfish for a treble booster, then I bought a Fulltone treble booster, now I don't use the wah nearly as much! That was my answer to getting more presence! Cheers
I'm a big fan of the late Michael Burks, who wrote this song, and I always thought somebody should cover it. Looks like Kingfish was the perfect artist to do so.
Caught Kingfish in Phoenix, Az. on 05/17/22, at the Orpheum Theater. What a smokin' hot show! I've seen many guitarists in the last 50+ years but at 23 years old, Christone Ingram has already put his stamp as a truly fine player. His touch and feel are incredible. The future of the blues is in good hands!
Puts me in the mind of Ernie Isley and Eddie Hazel too. When you share this video, there’s no need to say “listen to the whole song or watch the whole thing”. Once you start listening, you won’t be able to stop. 🔥🔥🔥
Best performance in history in my opinion!!!! Keep on rockin with soul Mr kingfish!!!!!! Thank you for lifting everyone's spirit with your amazing talent skill and soul!!!!!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
After 2 years of long wait (#thankyoucovid19), I finally saw him last night in Paris. What can I say... what a blast and a pleasure to see that the blues legacy is in the RIGHT HANDS. Do not misunderstand me, I like all the "new" bluesmen generation, such as Gary Clark, Joe Bonamassa, and so many more to mention here... but Kingfish PLAYS THE RIGHT STUFF AS IT SHOULD BE. I was delighted to see him playing offstage and in the crowd, it reminds me of Buddy Guy ! It's my favorite blues concert of this year so far (Eric Gales did cancel his Paris concert, but THANK YOU KINGFISH to be here !!!!!)
My brain can't process he's only 21 years old !
He sounds and has the feeling of a 70 years old bluesman ...
He’s been through some tough times. He expresses those feeling through sounds.
I'm older than this guy and yet plays like a veteran.
He’s been playing since he’s a little kid. Prodigy.
His mother recently passed away earlier this year. Poor kid
How has he explore blues like this...fantastic.

From 3:24-5:54 is some of the best guitar phrasing I’ve heard in quite sometime regardless of any genre of music that I’ve been playing or listening to for the last 20 years..
Absolutely.
He's amazing! These guys are too Christone Kingfish

This young man is about to enter the pantheon of the greats. Please keep it going sir.
Noone...noone like Christone Ingram
in the wide world. Every note a color, every phrase a work of art. NOTHING but love and respect. Long live the King.
Rip Michael Burks ! Kingfish did such an amazing rendition here . This young man gives me hope for the next generation of blues players !
Anyone listening to this, you owe it to yourself to check out Michael Burks' Empty Promises. That will lead you to other MB tunes and it will be evident, he is the MAN. RIP Big Mike.
He sounds like Prince and B.B. King had a child. Incredibly good. 🙌
More like Biggie came back reincarnated as BB King 😉
Born at the crossroads baby, you hearing the ancients coming through him! 🔺🔺🔺🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🎸
Not all legends are dead and gone!! This man is on a whole other level of just any musician!!! The whole band itself is absolutely phenomenal.!! 💯
I get the chills and feel my ancestors when I hear him play!! Yeasssssss!!!!!❤️🙏🏾 KINGFISH!!! 👑
FACTS!!!!!
Epa!!!!! Y esto? De dónde salió este monstruo?
Salute Queen !!!
That solo will pull from the body and take you anywhere you desire to go, try it!
Long lost lover? Never found lover? Never found yourself?
It’s out there!
He can easily pass for the son of the late blues guitarist Freddie King, R.I. P.
When I see him play all I can think is A Mothers Love is the most important aspect to his career and skill set. She made sure he had this path and sacrificed every aspect of her life to ensure he would be who he is right now. Know his life and know his story so that you can use it as an example for all you do going foreward.
I genuinely can’t fathom how someone so young can be so damn good at something. My brain doesn’t process that.
Just got up on this dude. Absolutely amazing. If he keeps this up legend status.
You rock my man god bless you and your family keep blues coming man love ya
My birthday is in early March and he's going to playing here just a few days before that. Talk about a great birthday party! Can't wait!
How could any blues fan not be blown away but this phenomenal young artist, such a bright future.
This is a Fantastic performance!!!!! I lovin it
Saw him live on 12 Feb 2023 !
What a Delight !!!
Nothing but facts

you need to listen to michael burks who wrote this song.
this man is probily next to Jimi Hendrics
I like how there are very few people with their phones in the audience. Most of them are really in the feels and enjoying unlike the gen z with their phones always sticked to their hand
This is an old soul, proof that we live many lives and not the
one they want us to believe ❤️
You live on the internet be quiet
@@itsallalie8938 you feel better now? Randomly anonymously abusing people.
@@pharllslim4544 I know you.
@@itsallalie8938 ok
Cheers
Lol No blues scale practice more Moore Bs
Gotta apologize for my critic. Maybe u guys haven't been playing long. Whatever floats
All scales are intertwined. Don't impress so easily
This man destroyed every single part of me with his solo .......... AMAZING 🤘
I just found out he wanted this year’s Blues Grammy and he is 23. He has to be one of the youngest to accomplish a feat like that
That’s playing at a totally different level!!..it’s actually frightening!!
I've seen many guitarists in the last 50+ years
but at 23 years old, Christone Ingram
has already put his stamp as a truly fine player.
I literally did a standing ovation at the end of the performance.
Micheal Burks would be proud.... RIP Mr. Burks.
Amen to that. I saw Michael in Fayetteville Arkansas and he was the truth.
He was the real unsung hero !! I am pleased to see Christone following in his steps !!
Never seen any crowd so into it. Why? Because he is so pure, and raw and AUTHENTIC. And we get so little of that these days...
Been following him for a few years and gives it to you like this every time, every song
Thank you God for this young man, it’s about time.....
This dude has no business playing so well. Definitely an inspiration.
Best performance in history in my opinion!!!! Keep on rockin with soul Mr kingfish!!!!!! Thank you for lifting everyone's spirit with your amazing talent skill and soul!!!!!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Damn that shit made me cry for the blues ..the man is awesome
god bless we are witnessing an icon in the making thank the algorithm for bringing me to this great joy
