People can talk about Ultimate Warrior forever, good, bad, but there is no denying he was one of the most memorable wrestlers in his time. I was a kid in that time and top 3 most memorable and captivating for me would be Warrior, Hogan and Savage not in any particular order. There were a ton of other great ones no doubt.
Wow! Great interview!! It's nice to hear someone say nice things about the Warrior. Being a huge fan of the Warriors' I get tired of people bashing him all the time in interviews.
But the people bashing him represent about 1-3% of the total audience. This, even by Dave Meltzer's admission, is what the dirt sheet readers represent. It's always been that way in life: a small percentage making a loud stink.
Ultimate Warrior was out of this world fun to watch, super personality, out of this world promos, runs to the ring to kick ass,e.t.c....UW drew money. Simple as that!!
Kevin Sullivan ( of CCW ) & Mark Lewin was in WCCW Monday, September 1, 1986 for inaugural WCCW World Tag Team Titles Tournament Lewin was in WCCW 9/1/86- 9/8/1986 ( 8 days WCCW Stint/ Final time in WCCW ever. )
Vince didn't have any heels lined up for Warrior. Al Perez got chased away by Pat Patterson. Warrior did retain the title against Slaughter prior to Rotal Rumble '91. That should have been the result at the Rumble.
Ultimate Warrior was a power wrestler not a technical one. His gimmick would never have worked if he was drop kicking people from the top rope or cart wheeling about the ring like Shawn Michaels... His gimmick was basically seek and destroy and he delivered that in spades
Was there more than one ultimate warrior ? Yes. Jim powers and Kerry von Erich (both are now passed away so they can't talk about it). It's how Vince was trying to own the character and show anyone could be the ultimate warrior. This is why Jim Helwig took steps to make it his. He knew the wwe were trying to take his creation away
His saying his hardcore fans don't care about the failures and are very forgiving I believe. He also said he doesn't see what the fans see in him neither do I but he has fans.
Kevin is jealous of Warrior...and he doesn't know shit about boxing. Lennox Lewis and Vitali were the perfect Heavyweights, not Liston, Ali or Frazier.

No kidding it's pretty brutal

Kevin getting tickled thinking about the look on Eric and Hogan's faces during Warrior's long debut Nitro promo was hilarious.
Pretty sure Kevin was sitting on his toilet at one point during this. Legend.
He took a piss last time I interviewed him so I’m not surprised!
Lmao!!!!!
KS "One thing about Hogan, He's honest."
Hahahahha.
Well at least you know everything he says is full of it so that simplifies things

Al Perez was no match for the Warrior Perez was a joke plz!
@@harveymcelroy9332 He beat hin in WCCW
@@WarriorSmurf ok but was Warrior a top guy then it was the Von Erichs and Brusier Brody Warrior was just getting his feet wet Al Perez is a nobody
@@harveymcelroy9332 Actually, he was hovering near the top having won the tag team and Texas titles.
@@WarriorSmurf ok he was only midcard then I remember he was the Dingo Warrior managed by Percy Pringle
Idk why people say eyes were on hogan at end of that match....no the fuck they werent....eyes were on warrior at all times!!!
Jealousy.
Yup, watched again and again and all eyes were on Warrior, maybe a small percentage for Hogan when he left in the cart.
Warrior's matches with Rude and Macho Man were great. No he wasn't a technical guy but he had some good matches imo.
Great Stuff, would love to hear Sully talk more on Brian Pillman.

Kevin Sullivan is the man the Boston Batttler him and Austin idol getting it on very well
I used to watch Kevin and Austin on the Super Station WTBS when I was 14. Many moons ago..
Is there going to be a part 2?..Apparently there were multiple possible endings considered. Was s Warrior win ever considered?
Recorded before his dynamite return. And before all out ppv .
He knew him from Georgia man!
Hehehehehehehe
Shikie baby!
All guys cut 20 minute promos in the middle of the ring from the attitude era onwards, seems just another thing to criticise warrior about to me.
I think HHH circa 2003 on Raw was the worst offender. Boring and repetitive, a real snoozefest.
BS!!
Warrior was awesome!!!
OWN
Bret Hart would disagree with this interview.
Don't even start me on him ffs 😂
Is punk the Jesus of wrestling he may very well be I'm not sure
Kevin seemed very out of it, maybe needed more coffee or something

LMAO. Total bullshit. No one else ever portrayed UW. Not once. Ever.
Jim Powers (James Manley) is still alive.
Jim Powers isn't dead.
Iduno I beg to differ. Because i dont care for Cm PUNK hes a 2 Time failed WWE & UFC fake star. Keep it REAL.
His saying his hardcore fans don't care about the failures and are very forgiving I believe. He also said he doesn't see what the fans see in him neither do I but he has fans.
This host is unwatchable I’m sorry…just zero follow up FACEPALM

Clueless host….HE IS NOT FAMILIAR WITH THE FINISH lmfao
