For me - growing up - these 2 guys are the reason I started watching wrestling. NWO got ne hooked. Nash and Hall made NWO cool / they made WCW worth watching.
I was there at the Bradley center in 2002 no Way out. Those 3 got THE biggest reaction I've have ever heard in my life. The network had actually turned our voices down. And trimmed the promo for future use which I think were both mistakes nobody WANTED to boo them in Milwaukee that night. When that music hit. We blew the roof off the building. That's why when you watch the edited WWE version of the ppv they didn't remove Scott and Kev and hulk comparing goosebumps. Because they were being brought in as heels, but in a time when antiheros were cool. So we kind of helped in why it didnt take off like it should have. They were expecting garbage being thrown into the ring like what happened in WCW but the WWE fans just could NOT boo them. Every single time one of them tries to talk we'd get louder. Scotts hey yo. You had to be there.
Yeah, I still have the original aired version I recorded on VHS when I was 11-years-old. The pops were way louder and the promo was definitely trimmed. The bit when Hall feigns innocence saying "we're marks" and "maybe we can have some beers with the boys" and Nash and Hogan wave their fingers ☝️ no. There was also the big pop when Hall set Austin up for the Razor's Edge (but was countered) at Mania x8. This has probably been edited out now too.
I wish I knew more about the heat Scott had with Magnum TA. This shoot interview was the first time I heard of it and they didn’t elaborate on it at all
The jist is, when Scott went to AWA he was booked initially as Magnum Scott Hall, before switching to Big Scott Hall. Magnum thought Scott stole his gimmick & when Scott came to WCW, magnum was an agent and said “now you can get your own gimmick.”
Steiners and Road Warriors were wayyy better teams.. Both drew more for longer periods of time.. Hall and Nash were only a team for abour a yesr or so.. By 1998 they were literally feuding

Arguably the greatest storyline tag-team in WCW history, but I can’t give them the title of greatest storyline tag-team in pro-wrestling history because they didn’t win the storyline WWE Tag Team championships.
They actually think HBK does good punches..😂😂😂 He is in the top 5 most ridiculous nonsense guys of all time..without question. Few can throw punches that look like punches, bossman, duggan, even the Hulkster, all had great punches, I'd even go as far as say even Brett could throw a more believable punch, HBK had no credibility at all. He was one of those who flopped around and made a complete mockery of selling, the oversell was practically a trademark and why Ricky Morton will always the better of the two.
That’s why Ricky Morton still has to take bumps and HBK is making 6-7 figures booking, because Morton had more believable punches. 🙄 You don’t even know what you don’t know; and what you don’t know, could fill a truck.
