The Iowa and Maryland games will be close. Iowa’s defense is elite, and their new transfer qb McNamara is a competitor. Maryland will be close because Locksley is a good coach, and it’s at Maryland. But, your right, Penn State goes 11-1 with the 1 loss to Ohio State.

I have been on this train for a while and I may be the only one but I think Kaytron Allen may actually be the better back than Singleton. He does things, and did things last year, that experienced RBs still struggle with (vision, one cut bursts through the hole, catching ability). I think this is Penn State's division to lose just because their loaded at every position. The only question mark is can Allar live up to the hype? That will tell how the season goes but if he is only 80% of that hype, it may be enough still based on the running game, OL, and defense as a whole.

I have been saying the same thing about Kaytron Allen since early on last season. Singleton undoubtedly has the better break away speed. But Allen’s vision is on another level along with many other things that he does at an elite level. Singleton, with his speed, if can improve the things that Allen does so well he can be an excellent back.

I don’t see them winning @columbus and then losing at home to UM. As tough as matchup as that is, historically PSU plays UM well at home (obviously there have been some exceptions) However, if both teams make that game undefeated, it’s likely to be the #2 vs #3 team and will be a hyped matchup and would probably be the biggest game of the CFB season.

This team should be the favorite against OSU this year and a dog to Michigan. A few good breaks and they can win the BIG ten. No one is talking about the fact that historically, Franklin’s teams are AWFUL coming off a bye, AWFUL on the road at Michigan. Both of those were the case last year. We get a bye, then a warm up game against 133 ranked Umass, then go slap Ohio State and set up the top 3 showdown at home vs Michigan. That game will come down to whichever team can stop the run better and believe it or not, I believe it’s Penn State this year. The linebacking core by week 10 will be best in the country I said it here. Jacobs, Carter, Rojas. We now have 4 D-lineman at 300 lbs and will be a problem for offenses.

From start to finish, Michigan manhandled PSU. A few fluke plays made the game seem closer than it really was at half time but, Michigan ended up pulling away and proving to be the better team. Same thing with OSU. Drew Allar may be good but, he’s unproven. The last big time 5 star QB y’all got ended up being average. Let me get this straight. You have Ohio State who is suspect all over their team and would be considered in a rebuilding year beating Penn State yet you have them beating the returning two-time Big ten championship team who is bringing back 80% of their team from last year?
You might want to reverse that, not sure why no one is giving UofM the respect they deserve. For some reason Ohio State gets is always the benefit of the doubt but yet for some reason UoM is always looked at as second fiddle. Even though they completely demolished both Penn State and Ohio State.
And by the way that Penn State Ohio State game was very close Penn State technically should have won that game. if it wasn't for Sean Clifford being Sean Clifford in the fourth quarter they probably would have.
