- In this video I'll show you how I made this gorgeous split composition dutch pour painting. With a little practice, I'm confident you can, too! I like to call this painting 'Plum Pudding' because of the deep rich plum color that reminds me of Christmas.
Learn a little about how to choose colors, and how they will interact with each other, how thick or thing to mix your paints to get different results, and a little ASMR finger painting for you to enjoy.

I love your color palette and composition, but what I really find beautiful is the depth you created by enhancing the base colors and leaving them darkest/brightest along the center of your composition line. Beautiful!

This was a great tutorial! Question: I have tried many techniques and nothing has been consistent, now I know why. Do you have to use "Flotrol" or is water ok too?
Many people use use water, so it should be ok
Really pretty ❤ I am just wondering how long it takes until that thick layer of paint dry? Can it happen that it doesn’t dry properly or cracks because the remaining paint on canvas is so thick?
I have never had a problem with cracking as long as I use high quality paints with similar consistencies. It usually takes a couple of days to dry.

Thanks for the feedback. I’ll try to list the colors in future videos. Many times I custom mix them so it is tough to give ratios of how much of each paint I used
After it's dry, what type of gloss (and how many layers of it) do you put over it?
I usually use varnish, either brush on or spray on. Usually 2-3 layers
Is there anything I can use to get bubbles out if I don’t have a torch? Can I use a heat gun?
The only reliable method I know of is the torch.
We would like to know what mediums you use in the paint.. can you mention this.. because mine Cracked all over
This painting uses America floetrol and water.

Yes I did! I have a video for how I mix my paints when using Floetrol. Have you seen that yet?
