Dutch Pour in 🩵 🤍 💛 Teals, Whites and Golds

Square canvases are tough to get great #dutchpour compositions in my opinion. That's why I decided to use my bubble recipe swiped into the background to get some interest in the negative spaces. I do love how this one turned out. The Golden Turquoise always give great cell effects, and the way it combines with the white flow gives the appearance of an Iris flower opening upon itself. I maintain that the wonderful effects in the painting come from using different brands of paint. (listed below)

oh my gosh here i am back here watching this one again but i can't help it you did such a phenomonal job and i never did tell you i really like the music you put on i was bouncing along as you were doing your painting and this one is just so soothing to watch. Could you do the same color scheme with a white background? although i love this one even better i don't know what you mixed to achieve this color. Thanks
Yes I have done this on a white background but it was before I started my RUclips channel so I didn’t record it. Maybe I’ll do another one for the sake of the subscribers.

This turned out incredible Becca! That base color is SO pretty. I think the little bit of white that you did add for interest on the base was just the perfect amount IMO. Any more may have taken away from the dutch pour portion. If you did do anymore... maybeeee just 1 more bubbly area? Yeah!:) Anyhoo, it turned out gorgeous AS IS!! I absolutely LOVE the colors and your unique dutch pour style always turns out so good. The hotdog layer never fails to make for stunning accents!;) What a beauty! Thank you so much for answering my question about dutch and acrylic pours in a short video i watched it and was pleasantly surprised when i heard you say my name that made me feel so good no one has ever done that i think you're a sweetheart and love to watch you doing dutch pours it is just so relaxing. How do i thin out my house paint if it is too thick? it is a satin acrylic paint.
Oh I’m so glad that made you happy to hear your name. I personally don’t howl with house paints but I believe you would just add water to them.

Good question! These are not can as panels. They are stretched canvas.
You mentioned you use acrylic paint scraps from a previous painting. Was the paint already dry or was it still wet when you scraped it up? I'm new to this and I've wasted so much pain it makes me sick. This is a beautiful piece and it's just the colors that I was looking for. Thank you so much Becca
Wet! It is very common to waste paint at the beginning. When I have excess paint or scrape a painting that didn’t turn out I use the mixture to create a new base. They are usually my favorite.

Yes I am! I sign them on the back so they can be hung in any direction.
do you mix your paint and foetal or whatever base you use to make it runnier beforehand and leave it to use another time? or mix it when you need it?
I like to let it sit for a day so the air bubbles disappear

Sorry i meant all the blues you used in this video. I love the color combination so much. I love chocolate brown so i want to incorporate it into my painting with blues and teals maybe i will have a chocolate base or just add it in with my blues.@@beccaharkinsart
