One of the greatest gifts I’ve ever given myself was learning to surrender everything to God. How freeing it is to let go of the illusion of control. Thank you for sharing both the quote and your beautiful art. ❤
This past year was emotional and challenging but I let go and bounced. Fluid art videos got me through! I stumbled upon them and now a year later I’m trying to figure out where to put a table to try my hand at it too. Beautiful Dutch pours and quote! Thank you!
This is so beautiful! Thank you so much for reading those few words to us. I needed to hear that. He is the only One in control and loves us só much, no matter what. We have to trust in Him.🙏🏻
Thank you for sharing so much of your skill and philosophy ! I just watched 3 of your videos in a row and found myself getting more and more relaxed ! Can't wait to see more of what you've done, it's so beautiful !
I love the whimsical finger swiping you do. I wish I could attach a picture to show you some of my pieces that were 100% inspired by your videos. I love your work.
It is so good to hear how you use dutch pour unique to you. It's what art is all about isn't it. You always manage to blow out such gorgeous colours. I am loving your videos. Wishing you a happy Sunday, ML from Cornwall UK xx
Becca, I love your videos. You are very talented, and watching you makes me want to improve as an artist. Thanks for the quote because that is so me and I needed to hear that.
oh my gosh when i saw you blowing this out i gasped at how the colors looked and flowed. You could take a mud puddle and make it into a beautiful lake. I love the quote i hope you read one in each video in the places you don't have to speak on camera. Thanks for all the ideas. I don't dare yet to start i'm procrastinating because i am very hard on myself when it comes to my art and this is new to me.
Accidentally put answer on youtube i think something relaxing like soft piano music or just calming it helps with all the political nonsense going on in our country. Sad. I wish i lived near you i know we would have been good friends.@@beccaharkinsart
Oh my god. I never have seen anything in anyone's paintings but as you were talking about it i just saw an elephant's face with two big ears and a trunk he is looking at me and to the right is a beautiful buck looking in the direction of the elephant!!!!! These are both in the purpley section and looking at it from the viewer's angle. Let me know if you see them. Very cool.
Ok so did you see the beautiful buck in the middle of the painting with his horns up and he's looking left? He is looking right at the elephant. The elephant has the 2 big ears his eyes are white and his trunk is twisted over to the left. It could also pass for a butterfly. Let me know if you find it. Ha!@@beccaharkinsart
Becca! Absolutely stunning! As others have said, I also needed to hear those words. I've heard them many times before (my son is an addict in recovery and I attended Nar-Anon meetings for many years...sorry TMI), anywho...I love your work and you inspire a lot of my work. Thank you 🙏🤗
Vulnerability is such an important part of recovery. I have spent many years in Celebrate Recovery. The program, and God’s never ending always and forever love saved my life. I’m such a different person than I used to be!
I Love this piece !!! I love the way that you utilize both colors on the base and didn’t leave a lot of empty/negative space a lot of them I’ve noticed do that I also love the way you did all your designs with your finger and I like the fact that you use music and not songs because to me, it’s distracting when there’s songs playing, I like to just get into the music and watch the movement of the painting being created Thank you for sharing! ❤️
LOVE this type of paintings! Can you show us something in DRAMATIC RED… maybe in a combination with white and black for a nice contrast. Something that screams: passion, hot red.
In this video I show how I mix my paints How to mix your paints for the perfect dutch pour acrylic pour painting ruclips.net/video/1N9k7YJdKNo/видео.html
This is gorgeous. I am completely confused though as to how your usage of Artist Loft Flow remained stable as it dried as every time I've used it it has continued to "develop" and the gorgeous wet outcome I'd have would be completely ruined by the time it was dry. Your outcome looks as great dry as it was wet. I am so confused as to why my work with it does not stay stable. I've had to mix it down with 50% some other sort of paint in order to temper that effect. BTW - anything in the red family - such as the magenta - mixed with blue will result in purple. Nice outcome on this, Becca.
Hey becca I love yr art! Question: on your hairdryer, do you use the cool shot? Or do you just use low heat setting? Are you using the same hairdryer that you have linked for Amazon? Thank you, charlotte
I do not use the cool shot even though the hairdryer has it. Just haven’t found that to be necessary. And yes, this is the same hairdryer I have linked to Amazon
I always worry about how much paint I’m using. I end up blowing it out too much because I feel there is too much. In this video, it’s very similar to the amount I use. With it having that much paint, does it dry ok?
I think i would prefer soft music maybe piano or whatever you find that is relaxing it helps with all the stress this country is going through in politics. Sad.
Thank you Becca, you are a real inspiration. Your work is beautiful! Christine
Thank you so much!

I’m just discovering u! I’m a fellow believer and appreciate your comments about your faith as much as ur paintings!!
Grace and peace to you, my friend!

I love the colors, it came out so beutiful- I love that viva magenta, how did you make the viva magenta color
Thanks for asking! In this video I share how I mixed that color. ruclips.net/video/FJhlRbJJ37s/видео.html
May i ask why you use your finger instead of a tool?
This is an incredible piece!!!
I don’t know. I just like to use my finger. I’ve tried using the opposite side of a paint brush but it wasn’t wide enough.
Hey becca
I love yr art!
What brand hairdryer do you use? Beautiful work!
The link to the blow dryer is in the description
Lovely painting! Is that just your finger you are using to define petals? The lines are so thin and crisp!
Yes, it is! Sometimes I use my whole finger, and sometimes the tip of the glove depending on how thick I want the line to be
When I try to do finger swipes with a glove on like you, the line always comes out thick. How do you get it so thin? 🙂
I always worry about how much paint I’m using. I end up blowing it out too much because I feel there is too much. In this video, it’s very similar to the amount I use. With it having that much paint, does it dry ok?
Yes it dries just fine. Usually takes 2-3 days though.
I think i would prefer soft music maybe piano or whatever you find that is relaxing it helps with all the stress this country is going through in politics. Sad.
Beautiful
