Loved it. I just picked up pour painting during my recent staycation and an still trying to learn. I am a family medical physician in Washington state. Thanks for the shout out to healthcare workers. I also want to thank the grocery store workers and other people who are still having to work through all this.
Don’t forget construction workers! We are still working everyday, going to multiple locations, but no one has been sick so praise the lord for that! Also, we are all very thankful we still have a job, we need to pray for the people out of work, I know many, and they are not receiving money fast enough, having a hard time feeding their kids. We need to raise hell and make them open up businesses gain, people re getting seriously financially hurt right now. So if you can still afford groceries and your bills be thankful because I personally know dozens of people out of work who cannot, and this is not right, we should not have shut down business, we should have just sequestered the vulnerable. Raise hell people and open America again!
This turned out beautiful!!!! The flaming torch will always burn for the health care workers. God bless them all they are HEROES.........🤜🤛 Great job my friend 👍👍👌👌💖🎨👏
Hey Cathleen. Hi. I absolutely love your work, and I am a beginner paint pourer and I also sing and wrote poetry.....and I also work in the Medical Field. I am a Clinical Associate in one of our local hospitals in the Emergency Room. I work three 12 hour shifts a week and every third weekend, so sometimes I work 4-5 days in a row, and singing and paint pouring are my outlets.
Stunning as always!Thank you for your inspiration & the shout out to health care professionals. I’m a nurse & art has always been a great stress reliever. I love being a nurse. It is not a job, but a calling. Much love to all people in this difficult time. Stay safe! 😷❤️
I've watched a ton of these pours lately and I must say, this is the most beautiful one I've ever seen. The technique is amazing and the colors you chose are so rich and satisfying. So well done!
I love your work! I’m frontline staff for Kaiser Permanente! I process all the FMLA, short and long term disability and much more so I can make sure patients don’t lose their jobs and can be paid during leaves of absence due to surgery or illness! I’m proud of what I do, I’m off for three days and I’m going to paint my heart out this weekend! ❤️
Another beauty! More magic! Great cells looks like lava bubbling. Your color pallets always inspire me. I’ve been watching your “noodling” and have begun to add bits on my pieces, what a huge difference on the finished piece. And since I’ve been using the GAC800/Floetrol as my PM no more crazing or cracking! I have been in Healthcare since I was 14! First as a Medical Assistant for a Surgeon, then as an X-Ray Tech, and now I’m a RN. although my last position was in Dialysis, my passion is Wound Care: Non-Healing Surgical Sites, Pressure Sores..... when we finally get these areas to heal it’s life changing for my patients.
Sweet Millie. Thank you so much for all you do. Grateful beyond words. It’s a scary world out there right now. Wishing you good health Millie. Be well stay safe. 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
LOL..I'm still in the beginning of your video.. the 3.0 as I understand it from the comparison video's I have watched is a matte, and it seems that the 2.0 is blacker than the 3.0 (in one of the comparison vids I watched) I guess we shall see what ya come up with! LOL Ok , now I will finish watching this scrumptious painting. and OH... silicone? I almost fell over! But I like the spot on treadmill one, it's what I use when I use silicone. Ok..enough Maria back to the video..LOL
So elegant and beautiful. I love copper. It's a beautiful metal. You do such an awesome job with your art Are you self taught? I've been doing a few swipes trying your technique and still have a lot to learn. My last swipe was too thick and dried pretty cool. Like an older canvas. It's hard to explain. I used paynes Gray for the base and swipe, gold, copper, champagne by deco and 24K. I did add some pop with turquoise green. It looks good but different. Lol. Thanks for sharing your talent with us. NE Tennessee sends you love.
Hi there!!! I'm a pharmacy porter in the biggest hospital in my city. Hello Cathleen, Im a In Home Health Aid. I work with mostly elderly, but I do have a gentleman whom is Quadriplegic. I have been taking care of him for Almost 5 years now. I know you said you wanted to do a little something for us workers, but if you wouldnt mind instead of one for me you could maybe doing a painting for my client to help bring his spirits up. And his wife who he had only married 2 years prior to his accident. They were life long friends, but didnt marry till in thier late 60's I wish I could do more for them, but hopefully this might help bring a little peace of mind into there home and hearts together. J.W.
Absolutely stunning! Love the metalics & black. I'm a therapist, I also do safety training for health care workers. I have end stage cancer myself, but my work is considered essential services so I've continued to work since its been hard finding people wanting to work during the pandemic.
Hi there. I worked in the Aged Care and Disability industry for over 13 years. I would go to clients homes. I couldn't imagine working at the moment, it's just too scary. Hugs from Australia 💜💙
I know this is an older post but the world is still running with this virus! My daughter is a nurse in day surgery and everyone tries to get their surgeries done by the end of the year so November and December are crazy busy! 2 Nurses have COVID, one was just diagnosed with cancer and one had surgery and can’t do any lifting for 2 months...that’s a lot to take on for one department...she’s in tears driving home after a 12 hour shift where she started at 8AM and now on her way home she eats her lunch that she didn’t get a chance to sit down and have at work...please continue to pray and uplift our healthcare providers! We need to keep them healthy!!!
Your work is so stunning that I like to take screen shots, but your "happy hands" are distracting, then it's the end of the video. Will you show the entire piece for more than a few seconds? I think your creativity is awesome and it's enjoyable to savour.
Another beauty Cathleen! It's amazing how only a couple of colors can have such a stunning impact along with your talented swipes of course!!!😉💖💖💖 I used to work in the medical profession and know the risks healthcare workers are taking so.....THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart!!!❤ Our daughter is pregnant with our 3rd grandchild and we are scared for her and her baby, but they are doing everything right. Staying home away from everyone.👍 Lori💙
Beautiful !!! Love it.... I have the next three days off can’t wait to paint this weekend..... I work in home health care with people with brain injuries..... stay safe
Laurie Cassada ....god bless you, my daughter had a head injury, confined to a wheelchair. She passed after 3 strokes after being stable for 20 years. TBI patients are hard to take care of. You deserve a metal.
Pamela Neibuhr I’m so sorry ! My daughter also has a TBI since 2001 and is confined to a wheelchair.. that’s how and why I got into this field. No medal needed but thank you ! Stay safe...
Young daughter isn’t into painting but she is in healthcare. She is a nurse recruiter. They get travel nurses to different hospitals in need. She works from home but works very long hours to get these nurses set up. I’m very proud of her!
Hello from NC. I'm a clinical nurse manager for hospice here in Wilmington. I am so grateful for all disciplines: physicians, nurses, social workers, chaplains and nurse aides. I am proud to be a part of this magnificent caring team. Thank you for distracting me, I love your work. I'm just learning. Stay safe.
Thank you Sherrie for all you do. Happy to help with those distractions now and them. Reach out if I can ever help with your painting journey. Stay safe and be well Sherrie
LOVE the “bra free zone”!!!!! I’m a CNA & an ARTIST! I just broke out & displayed… sold a piece!!!!! 💃💃💃. What a feeling!!! Thank you for inspiration!!!
I am so proud of our community medical services people. Last Monday they paid a visit to our house to take Lee away. It is not the virus but renal failure. He has a rare disease Retroperitoneal fibrosis and Addison's disease along with advanced bladder cancer. They were very cautious about exposing us and we of them. Every night at 8:00 our community salutes our hospital workers. I have lots of firework candles that I shoot off. Tonight my town Police department showed up. Well, those guys ended up firing off some too. Now to this gorgeous painting. I watched it 3 times to catch the way you held your paper towels and did the swipes. Thank you for being such a great teacher. I was blessed the day I found your channel. Thank you.
Hi Cathleen. I just ran across your video. I’m new at pouring. Turns out that pouring has been an amazing stress reliever, better than therapy. I am an RN at a mental institution. 😷 I learned a lot from your video. Thank you!
Hello Amy. Welcome. Yes on the stress relief. Thanks for joining me Amy. Let me know if I can help or answer any questions. Best of luck with your Painting Journey. Be Well Girl 😊🎨
If you're interested in hearing about the "World's Blackest Black" find Lindsay Daly and her video entitled "The Blackest Black? ART FIGHT ft Stuart Semple vs Anish Kapoor". Then find Wonder World and their video entitled "VANTABLACK - The Darkest Material on Earth" Lindsay might have linked in her video... I can't remember. 🖤 Looks like Semple made your Black 3.0.
Hey cathleen this is beyond gorgeous. Just watching u paint is comforting to me. I am a heart doctors assistant nurse and i love my job and all the people that r part of it.
Looks fantastic hi from Sydney now how CD about doing a swipe in the blackest black on a black background with silver, gold and bronze to see if it’s any darker.
Hello Cathleen! My name is Lisa McConnell. I have been a nurse for nearly 20 years. I currently work as a floor nurse in a rehab and long term care facility. I want to thank you for your kind words and your art. I started exploring are last fall. I love to watch your noodling, all the different techniques you do and your amazing art! Your channel was one of the first that I subscribed to, so thank you. Looking forward to your next video, Lisa.
GORGEOUS as always! Regarding health care workers, I am a Claim Examiner for Short Term Disability. The amount of claims I process for Covid19 illness is unbelievable!😥
This turned out super cool as usual, lol. I am a retired cytology prep tech. Twice cancer of my jaw followed by 2 brain surgeries made me retire out. I miss it greatly but I will say that it has to be quite scary for all that step foot in the medical world during this pandemic. I only mentioned myself not for myself but to bring light that there is more than just Drs and nurses putting their all on the line. Im not discounting them by no means what so ever, so please know that but to watch the news, all they talk about are nurse and Drs and hospitals wouldn't function without all the people in support roles like cytology where we run up to CT, Endo, OR etc to assist in fine needle biopsies of sick patients. I appreciate you mentioning all medical workers, not for myself by on behalf of all those who don't get mentioned. So thank you, you're such a sweet gem
Hi... from France, I discovered acrylic fluid, since a week, so I follow lot of tutorials on RUclips, to understand, cause, I'm a painter, but I want to discover other things. Lovely. Your works,.. I come back to you soon. Thanks from France,
Good morning! (Well, it's 5:30 a.m. and I'm going through your back catalog.) Your art really has been inspiring me to work more on swiping, probably because your tutorials are fun to watch. Part of what makes the Blackest black the blackest black is how matte it is. I've only painted a border with it, just to try it out. I can't get over how saturated it is! At any rate, I think that the gloss of any pouring medium will add shine and take away from that black effect. I'm afraid to waste it so haven't even tried our matte paint extender, US Floetrol. I'm thinking about trying to thin a little with ONLY water. If you haven't seen the VW ad using the Blackest Black, I recommend it to anyone who drives or who rides a motorcycle. I don't want to post a potentially dangerous link, but suggest a search for key words Volkswagen blackest black blind spot. I've never seen an ad like it.
Very beautiful as always & gave me some great ideas for what I want to do (try) with some other colors we discussed recently . God Bless all the Frontline workers caring for people through this horrible time . CraftyJenn did a beautiful painting to Thank them & I've been trying to figure out a way to let someone..anyone in the Medical Field aware of it so they can see & share it with colleagues just to brighten their day even if just for a few minutes. I worked in the medical field for a very long time at a Children's hospital but at the time I was a mother to a small child at home who I would come home to in the middle of the night and just sit at his bed & end up crying myself to sleep over all the scary horrible things I saw and had no way to protect him from so it really plays a number on you & I didnt ever want to be able to "turn off" those emotions that so many in the medical field have to be able to do to even do their jobs so I took a break from it and got into a different line of work ..anyway I have lots of Dr & Nurse friends I still keep in touch with and they are truly heroes EVERY DAY just dealing with life's every day tragedies & illnesses let alone dealing with this horrible devastating virus that has to feel like the equivalent of looking down the barrel of a gun pointed in their faces every day and they deserve way more recognition, respect & thanks than they get so I'm sure whatever you have planned will be amazing . Thank you Cathleen for being the kind & wonderful caring person that you are !!!
🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗 it’s a scary world out there. I can’t even imagine being in the middle of this pandemic Julie. My heart is heavy. So grateful for our Health Care workers. Be well darling 😊🎨
Hi Cathleen! I love watching your videos. They are a very needed stress relief. I’m an LPN and work triage for family medicine. I like using these colors when I paint as well.
Hi Cathleen, I work with the Developmentally Disabled as a Direct Support Provider and prior to that I worked with Seniors for a Home Care agency:) I am in Columbus Ohio!! Love your art and videos!
I appreciate your message to health care workers. I am a RN and NREMT- Paramedic. I am enjoying your videos. But I wanted to respectfully "educate" you and your viewers regarding the archaic term "ambulance driver" in the 1960's and earlier that term was accurate. But today ambulance's are staffed by Emergency Medical Technicians, EMTs. There are various levels of EMTs from basic to Paramedic. It takes 2+ years to become an EMT-Paramedic and it is a college degree. There is some variation between state certifications but a Nationally Registered EMT-Paramedic is the highest level of.certification possible. Please help us show respect and support to these medical professionals who are the first line of defense and help in medical emergencies and trauma. It is a rewarding yet difficult.profession that takes a toll mentally and physically. We certainly don't do it for the money. Paramedics make a fraction of what RN's do while being able to provide much higher interventions medically. One doesn't refer to a RN or MD as a 'hospital worker'. Thank you in advance. We change the public's perception one person at a time.
Oh no, Silicone, I'm like you I have stayed away from Silicone because of listening to you & your teach. The Silicone caused more of a lacing effect than cells on the canvas. I haven't seen you swipe twice, hum, now I just did a painting inspired by your style, I should have swiped again to bring out more color, dang!. I love your paintings! You are an amazing artist!!!
Did I hear that right? “Big butt cells”... hahahaha!!!😂😂😂 Almost spit out my coffee. Thanks for that 😁 And thanks for doing this for the health care workers. They are amazing and so are you!!!
Thank you so much for your kind words!! I am a PSW I work for a wonderful organization called L'arche and we assist and live along side individuals that have physical and or mental disabilities. I absolutely love my career
I love it!!!!! But just when I think your finished you go and put down more paint and I think “ omg she is going to destroy a perfect painting”. And each time you nail it. A perfect painting gets even better. How is that even possible.
Don’t know why but makes me think of mother reaching out to baby. Love these colours. Didn’t know you were asking healthcare workers to contact you. Mind you, I am based a bit far away in the UK xx
Hi Cathleen stunning work as usual. Thank you. Cathleen can you please tell me what you have plugged into your phone (can see it reflected in the black base coat) I'm really struggling to get started sharing videos of my work here in the Uk so any help with the tech side would be very much appreciated.
Hello Celia. I can’t share a photo here in the comments. You can email me and I can send you the info. It’s a tripod that holds your cell phone. It can be adjusted to different heights and angles. 😊 cozcreationsart@gmail.com
Cathleen I so so much love this. Can you use any other type of glue in your medium. My husband is a retired Physician that is helping as much as he can in Mexico. He is 82 but is out there for everything that can possibly be done for all of people. Please stay safe and positive. I love what you do and am going to try it. Thank you for sharing.
Hello Annette. Many thanks to you and your husband for all he does. It’s so scary out there. Grateful Let’s talk about glue. Most use Glue-All when they pour with glue as there Pouring Medium. I use Floetrol mixed with Golden Gac 800. I’m a little afraid if the glue. I did some research and it seems that it yellows in time. I do think it’s a great cost effective way when your learning Annette. But once your confident with your painting, I would use a more archival pouring medium. Best of luck 😊🎨
Hi Cathleen, I am an Assistant Director for a substance abuse residential program. I find myself going to work in order to continue services for individuals in need. I am a health care worker who also indulge in painting to keep my mind and soul healthy
I love this one Cathleen as I do all of your paintings! I have 2 son in laws that are police officers and one son in law who is a firefighter. I too am so grateful for all those who are working in this crazy time and putting themselves in harms way. God bless them all. This one reminds me of fire and I need to try this one day. My daughter has a photo of a huge California fire and my son in law is standing in front of the fire and it is like his silhouette. She had it put on canvas for him. Thanks for sharing your talent as always! Hugs friend, stay well!
Registered Nurse, California. I’m an infusion specialist; I do in home infusions so folks don’t have to go to an infusion suite or specialized Dr office.
Hello Lisa. There is somewhere. I think Sandra Lett has a formula sheet. I just kinda wing it. I mix my base coats in big containers. So I always have extra on hand. I mix my pouring cups as I go. Check out Sandra’s Facebook page. She also has a RUclips channel. Good luck
I’m a receptionist at our rural health clinic. I love all our patients we have a very large senior population. Thank you for your art and being so generous with sharing it is all so spectacular.
I agree with you about the silicone. I don’t like it. There are better ways to get cells. I don’t want to clean it off afterwards either! I must admit it worked well on this canvas.
Rael. Hello it’s good to see you. I have a video coming out on how to achieve those cool cells with out the use of silicone. Did much research. Be well Rael 😊🎨
Love following all your work, COZ 😄 I’m a clinical quality and safety specialist in a large health system. I’m behind the scenes supporting all the clinical staff, process improvement, providing “at the elbow” education and regulatory readiness. I do art on the side for fun but not anywhere near what you pros are doing 😇👍
Retired Firefighter/Medic here, just found your channel as I am newly diving into Pour Art.......super excited! I saw your stuff and was like, WOW I WANNA TRY THAT! So here I am :) I love how you explain as you go and you don't go so fast that people can't keep up. I'm old and need that kind of guidance....haha I absolutely LOVE the art you've done, it's gorgeous and I am hoping that I can have some of the same gorgeous successes you've had with yours. I am starting today......wish me luck! LOL
Hello Cathleen, I am a Radiology/CT Tech/MA at an Urgent Care. We treat minor procedures, trauma, broken bones, many other minor medical needs plus COVID-19 testing. We work 12-hour shifts as most medical personal do. At our facility, we don't have any nurses, we are the front line. I want to thank you for your prayers and thoughts! Btw, this painting is fabulous like all of you others are. I plan to try and recreate some of your pours for my new house.
Loved it. I just picked up pour painting during my recent staycation and an still trying to learn. I am a family medical physician in Washington state. Thanks for the shout out to healthcare workers. Young daughter isn’t into painting but she is in healthcare. She is a nurse recruiter. They get travel nurses to different hospitals in need. She works from home but works very long hours to get these nurses set up. I’m very proud of her!
As you should be Debbie. Hoping your girl stays well. 😊🎨
My husband is anesthetist at our local hospital. He has been going in daily to start IV's and do Emergency cases.
@@COZCreationsArt thank you so much.
This is really great.but it’s fun to experiment.I’m not a fan of silicone either. Health care is not what it used to be.
LOVE the “bra free zone”!!!!! I’m a CNA & an ARTIST! I just broke out & displayed… sold a piece!!!!! 💃💃💃. What a feeling!!! Thank you for inspiration!!!
Melinda it’s a wonderful feeling. Congrats to you 😊
I am so proud of our community medical services people. Thank you.
Linda you and Lee are in my thoughts. 😊🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
@@COZCreationsArt Thank you, we both believe in the power of prayer so your thoughts are greatly appreciated.
hello cathleen, may i ask, what do you put in the paper before the swipe?water? thank you! i adore your work!
I'm a licensed mental health counselor in the field of trauma. Thank you so much!
Hi Cathleen. I just ran across your video. I’m new at pouring. Turns out that pouring has been an amazing stress reliever, better than therapy. I am an RN at a mental institution. 😷
I learned a lot from your video. Thank you!
Hello Amy.
Looks like Semple made your Black 3.0.
Thank you SM I will head that way and check her out 😊🎨
Hey cathleen this is beyond gorgeous. Just watching u paint is comforting to me. I am a heart doctors assistant nurse and i love my job and all the people that r part of it.
Thank you Sharon and thank you for all you do during this scary time. Be well Sharon 😊
Looks fantastic hi from Sydney now how CD about doing a swipe in the blackest black on a black background with silver, gold and bronze to see if it’s any darker.
Nice colors Andrew. Good to see you again 😊🎨

Thank you Lexie. Please be well 😊
Hi... from France, I discovered acrylic fluid, since a week, so I follow lot of tutorials on RUclips, to understand, cause, I'm a painter, but I want to discover other things. Lovely. Your works,.. I come back to you soon. Thanks from France,
Thank you Serg. Happy you joined me here. Reach out if I can help with your painting journey. Stay well 😊🎨
Good morning!
Hello Rebekah Sue. Yes the Matte. I have some very Matte Black. Just haven’t used it yet. It’s a coming. Thank you
My name is Rita, I’m a RN . Love your metallic pouring! So dramatic!! Thank you for sharing your talents 😊

Thank you Nichole for all you do during this crazy, scary time. Please stay well girl 😊
Hi Cathleen, I work with the Developmentally Disabled as a Direct Support Provider and prior to that I worked with Seniors for a Home Care agency:) I am in Columbus Ohio!!
Love your art and videos!
Angie thank you for all you do girl. Born in Cleveland 😊
Thank you Seastar for this information. Thank you as well for all you do. Wishing you good health. 😊
Thank you Anna. I swipe twice often. Look at older videos. Sometimes several times. I’m a swiping kinda girl 😊🎨🖼
Did I hear that right? “Big butt cells”... hahahaha!!!😂😂😂 Almost spit out my coffee. Thanks for that 😁 And thanks for doing this for the health care workers. They are amazing and so are you!!!
😊😊😊😊😊 thank you Bee.

Camilla from Switzerland 🇨🇭 nice to meet ya 😊
I love your pouring, I'm a health care essential worker for Disability and Special need recipients. Love your music as well.
Patricia thank you. Thank you as well for all you do. Our hero’s 😊
I love it!!!!!
But just when I think your finished you go and put down more paint and I think “ omg she is going to destroy a perfect painting”.
And each time you nail it.
A perfect painting gets even better.
How is that even possible.
Elma ya need to play and experiment. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn’t. Need to take the risk. I learn as much if not more from my mistakes 😊
Thank you for your support! Front line worker EMS. Paramedics and EMTs it’s been a hard year but we stand strong!
Yes Kathleen with a “K” grateful for all
Don’t know why but makes me think of mother reaching out to baby. Love these colours. Didn’t know you were asking healthcare workers to contact you. Mind you, I am based a bit far away in the UK xx
Sally grateful for all the healthcare workers. They are some of my hero’s. 😊😊😊😊
Love your work and your channel. I am a cardiac nurse. Thanks for the shoutout! Happy painting
Lori thank you, for all you do. Stay well Lori 😊
extraordinary beautiful l love it very much
I'm a former Healthcare worker now Healthcare trainer in Australia. Love your videos mate keep em coming please!
The colouring reminds me of the Australian Aboriginal flag which is black red and yellow representing the Aboriginal people, the land and the Sun.
Please don't forget the other "essential workers". There are so many people who are keeping America going but without any real acknowledgement.
I am grateful for all of them Christina 😊
Just discovered your channel. I’m a nurse working with organ and tissue recovery.
Thank you so much for all you do. It’s a scary time out there. Be well. 😊🎨

Shauna. Bless all of there hearts. As a mother I would not be able to sleep at night. How do you handle this 🤔😳😊🤗
Registered Nurse, California. I’m an infusion specialist; I do in home infusions so folks don’t have to go to an infusion suite or specialized Dr office.
I forgot to mention, your art is beautiful, love watching you.
Thankful for the Health Care Workers❤️❤️❤️

CNA (Certified Nurse Aide ) agency worker I go everywhere im needed. I love watching u do ur wonderful art.
Thank you for all you do 😊
Simplemente hermoso....felicitaciones....( Simply beautiful ... congratulations )
Question...how do you know how much paint to prepare for each pour? Is there a formula based on canvas size?
Hello Lisa. There is somewhere. I think Sandra Lett has a formula sheet. I just kinda wing it. I mix my base coats in big containers. So I always have extra on hand. I mix my pouring cups as I go. Check out Sandra’s Facebook page. She also has a RUclips channel. Good luck
I have been a nurse for 54 1/2 yrs! I'm retiring Nov 1, 2020! I plan to set up a studio and paint!!

Thank you to all the health care workers, you are true hero's! Cathleen this painting is stunning, I am loving this series so much.

Awesome. After it dries or cures over 2 weeks can you put a clear coat on it? I think I would like to try with a guitar project.
Yes Essie. I put an isolation coat down first. Then a few coats of varnish 😊

When I swipe my colors do not come through. They tend to disappear. What am I doing wrong.
Make sure your base coat is not to thick. My base coat and swipe colors are the same consistency 😊

LOL
