Your two year olds excitement over pizza was way too cute!
“Whoa pizza!” ❤😂🍕
I have a 2 year olds enthusiasm for pizza too!
Your two year olds reminds is to be thankful!
@@rebeccaknudsen6190you and me both! Lol.
Sooo cute
Soooo cute!! My little guy says, seetza!
I love that you added the background noises of the kids into this. 😊
I was thinking the same thing!
Love hearing them
In sooo many cultures, lunch is the biggest meal. It makes sense when you think about all of the work your family does in the morning. Then your little ones can rest. Dinner is naturally a bit smaller when you eat a substantial meal midday.
That's how it is in my country Egypt.. People start cooking lunch from the morning or noon ..we usually have it at 2 or 3 pm some people have it earlier some later
And then its easier to clean up in the evening too! (when your likely more tired)
Your 2 year old's excitement over the pizza made my whole day. That was absolutely precious. You can tell he loves the things you make. 💕
This! Exactly!
I love the way you organically come up with meals rather than following a strict meal plan. That is so much more comfortable to me… and allows for more creativity. Of course at this point you make it all look so easy. 😊
Enjoy your 2 year old excitement over the pizza. So cute.
Your two year old is adorable. I love the excitement about life when you’re 2. They’re so easy to please.
His excitement and little voice made large is absolutely the bees knees! They expression when he said that he wanted to cut it, the expression change when you reiterated what he said then the scowl with his lil voice! I had to rewatch that part several times! I miss my kidlings being little ones!
It really is such a delight to have little ones around!!
Theodore’s reaction is so sweet ❤. Have loved your channel for years and never grow tired of learning from you. Thank you Lisa ☺️
Love the combination of the peaceful music, with the sounds of a lively home filled with kids 😊
Theo was so cute. Thank you for giving us inspiration to get out of our comfort zone. I look forward to your videos and I'm old enough to be your Mom and I look at home making and decorating as being fun not a chore.
Wonderful to see you children gathering eggs and enjoying it. Your 2 year old pizza lover is a delight to watch! ❤
Thank you so much 🤗
I love your channel Lisa! I’m a new homemaker (2 new babies in the last 2 years) and have felt so much encouragement from your videos. Cooking from scratch has been new for me and I love how hopeful you make it feel. I’ve been watching your videos for almost two years now and still learning so much but I never feel rushed into needing to know it all right now or to do it all right now!! Thank you so much for making these videos and being a steady role model for me ❤️
You know, you can freeze them. You have to slightly scramble them first. Freeze them in an ice cube tray, then transfer to a freezer bag. These are great for cooking and baking. (Not for eating as an egg) I have done so for years. I use the frozen ones for things like pancakes, bread, muffins or whatever. Just a suggestion. Thaw in the fridge. God bless you.
How long do they last in the freezer?
Omg the highlight of the video was your sons excitement over pizza 🥰 that was too cute
Your little boy at the end talking about the pizza was precious! I love him!!!!
Lemon butter uses up eggs and is delicious. Quiche, custard also uses lots of eggs.
Wow the way you balance everything is such a mastered art. I strive to be more of a cook like you! Thanks for the meal ideas and I love your cute 2 year old it sounds like he talks really well for his age 😊
Make an angel food cake. It takes a dozen eggs. Make custard, lemon curd or ice cream with the yolks.
Yum! My Mom used to make it, w a yummy orange icing❤
Loved seeing more of the farm in the beginning of the video! All the animals are so cute.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Watching those little hands gather eggs is so precious. 😊
That’s exactly how I feel about PIZZA like your two year old! That was the icing on the cake for me!
He is so CUTE! 🥰🥰
Your food always looks so delicious!
Praying you and your family have a blessed resurrection weekend! God bless! ✝️✝️
What a beautiful world you have worked so hard to create thank you for sharing it, such a treat to watch 😊
I appreciate that!!
Precious! He is So excited. So sweet.
Way back in the older days. Family would eat a larger meal for lunch n for dinner it would be a light. Those pork chops looked delicious. I might try that recipe. I love pork chops or pork for that matter.
I think you do a wonderful job as a mother, a cook, a wife n you still get the outside chores done.
You deserve much praise. I love how you do all these wonderful things n still continue to smile be so thankful.
♥️♥️😊👍👍🌟
Yay! 2 videos this week... feels extra special❤
That little guy’s excitement over the pizza was precious.
I love hearing the natural background noises! I have been using so many of your recipes for sourdough lately, and my family has loved them!
So happy to hear that!
Lisa a great way to use up eggs is Egg Foo Young, mixed with lots of veggies and or meat. Served with rice and a chicken soy sauce gravy. I used 7 eggs for just my hubby and I so you would use a ton and it’s delicious!!
I love coming along with you through your days, meet your family, enjoy how you prepare meals and do all the million things you do with joy and diligence. Thanks for sharing your life with us!
Be so blessed,
Nadja from Switzerland
Thanks so much
I❤ ur kitchen!🫶🏻
So much flowing thru it.
Your 2 yr old excitement is precious!!!!🎈🥳🎉🫶🏻
We've had break fast for supper. Have had leftover roast for breakfast with the leftover potatoes and a side of fried eggs and gravy poured over the whole dish. Goes a long way if it's going to be a long day.
Your son and his reaction is just precious ❤
You can use several by making egg muffins or pancakes muffins then put into freezer pull out and heat up microwave or oven pour syrup over top. I had 5 children their dad died at age 47 to make meals quick B4 bus time these were great. Muffins of any kind blueberry too. Used many eggs. Also froze scrambled eggs And put in roll up kids could handle really good.
Haha love your son's reaction to pizza. So cute
We make frittatas (like your strata) whenever we get a lot of eggs. We’ll eat frittata for breakfast or dinner.
Also, French toast is great to use eggs! I’m definitely going to make crepes next time!!
Eggs are a great source of protein. Here's a list of things you can prepare with eggs: egg salad on sourdough bread, egg on your cobb salad, eggs on any and all baked desserts, potato & egg salad, tuna & egg salad, all sorts of breakfast dishes, deviled eggs, hard-boiled eggs, you can literally have eggs in every meal every day!!!
Oh my gosh i loved your little boy saying "Pizza" !!!
Oh, that little baby is so excited about pizza! He is precious!
EGG Noodles! Dried out and stored, they can last a long time on the shelf. Honestly, another way to use up/store eggs to consider. Use in any soup, casserole, schnitzel, Italian dish or Mac & Cheese. Heck, you could do a mega noodle day or weekend w/the kids & crank out a bunch of noodles to store up. Love your channel 😊🍝
Omg! Your 2 yr old at the end! Precious!
Love your channel! It’s always so amazing what you make!
Thank you so much!
Pinterest gave me a recipe for egg bites that uses 9 eggs and cottage cheese for 12 bites made in muffin tins so I'll double it to easily use up 18 eggs and have extra breakfast on hand for future days (there's only 4 of us). Putting steaming water in the oven gives them such a wonderful texture too!
I add cooked ground sausage, torn greens, and shredded cheese to the bottom and pour the eggs over top for extra protein and nutrients. It really sticks with you with all the extra goodness. ❤
Egg salad is another thing we enjoy to use up eggs. For us 4, 21 eggs gives us enough to have lunches for a few days, 21 seems odd but that's what fills the bottom of one of the bigger pots, haha.
You should try Maria Emmerichs Hard Boiled Egg pudding. It is AMAZING and would be a great way to use up the eggs.
I love your videos, you have a way of explaining things that juat makes you confident that whatever the outcome is, it will be "just fine". 😊
I appreciate that!
Joyful days, blessed with love. Good Friday prayers, Have a blessed Easter. ✝✝👑✝✝
Bravo to you. I did the same on planning. I learned to cook quick and didn't measure much i just learned what was needed.
Awe your wee boys soo cute at the end over the pizza 🍕, love seeing this, lots of love from Shropshire England 🏴 xxxx
Use boiled eggs for salads cut in pieces or even grated. We often make Russian salads with eggs, potatoes, fresh onion, peas and gherkins. It is also common to make a herring under a furcoat: we make layers of salted fish, grated eggs, potatoes and boiled beet on top. Homemade mayo with eggs in all of them.
What a blessed life. So precious ❤️
Free drying eggs? Or preserving them to be shelf stable in a big jar? For winter...Those could be options😊
Your 2 year olds excitement over pizza made me smile 😊
It's healthier to eat the heavier meal at mid-day anyway.
The excitement over pizza was adorable.😊
We do the same thing with frozen berries except thicken it with a few tbs of chia seeds and a squeeze of lemon. So good with fresh bread or sourdough pancakes or waffles.
Hi Lisa! Just a tip, if you ever feel like not having to store or use all of the disposable plastic bags (bc I personally haaaaaate having a bag of bags, know what I mean 😂), you can make or buy an XXL beeswax wrap bag. The bread proofing basket/loaf will slide right into it and keep it from drying out. Love your channel and your sweet family! ❤😊
Your son’s reaction was the best! So adorable 🥰
So, I have to thank you... Something about your videos actually makes me a better homemaker. I usually hop right up and do my dishes or make something yummy for my family!😂
I'm so glad!
Discard pizza in a cast iron rather than making a specific pizza dough has been a game changer here. Its WAY simpler and it tastes good and is “predigested” for us. I keep a drier starter (resembles more a quick bread dough) so I add just enough water to make it pourable and some salt for flavor.
I can’t follow a strict meal plan either. It amazes me to see people who are so good at making up meals for a month and shopping accordingly. Pork chops with mashed potato for lunch has already occurred in our household 😂. Great videos and love seeing your daughter in the kitchen, learning from mom 👍
And I’m the opposite 😅. If I don’t plan out my dinners for the week, that stresses me out. You gotta do what works for you; we’re all different 😊.
What an enthusiastic pizza lover…he knows his mama is a good cook!
Such fun to watch you and Laura cook from scratch Lisa!!!
He is so excited so sweet!!
I love making a frittata when I have a lot of eggs. With a family of your size you could make two and use even two dozen or more. ❤
Use your immersion blender for the deviled egg filling! So creamy! We also like to make savory crepes with chives in the batter and fill with ham and cheese!
Great idea!!
I love your pantry 💕! It's so organized. Food storage is a huge priority for me. 👍
He’s adorable and I know a lot of people that eat their big meal in the afternoon and a sandwich or pizza for dinner. I can’t wait to try your pizza recipe thanks for all you do to show us new ways of cooking. Happy Easter to you and your lovely family
The smells of cooking must be amazing at your house. I would forever be excited about each meal as well. Stay forever blessed genius mom🥰and wonderful family❤️
HAPPY GOOD FRIDAY Lisa, family, fur babies, and feathered friends. Lisa what a talented, creative, thinking out the box mom*woman* you are. Thanks for all the inspiration. HAPPY EASTER WEEKEND. STTB
your videos are so comforting
Loved seeing your 2 year old so excited for the pizza! You are amazing by the way!!
Thank you so much!!
You could water glass some of your eggs to use during the winter months.
You make it all look so easy. I love your videos. Your toddler at the end- just adorable.
Thanks for watching
I would love to have an oversupply of eggs. They're really hard to get where I am. Love the video, felt different ❤
I love pizza too. He is adorable ❤
I absolutely love your little 2 yr old, he reminds me of mine 😭💙 what a cutie pie!
Thank you!! 😊
Absolutely adore your family! God bless y’all! 😀❤️
My wife gave me a made in pan and it's amazing. But don't use metal on the nonstick version
I always love your videos. They get me motivated to make more things from scratch. I don't do sourdough but I do make just regular white bread. So while watching your video I finished my bread and got chicken I prepped yesterday in the oven to cook. Thanks for being an inspiration to us all. Sending lots of love
Hair mask time with all the eggs, lol!
Amazing life! Beautiful family!
Thank you so much!
I love your channel. And I just want to say I hope you and Luke can always make the time for one another. So many couples in social media are divorcing, and as much as I love your content, it would be worse to see it cost you both the love and care of being happy together. Not trying to get in your business, just was thinking yesterday "I truly pray you and Luke never fall into the social media trap that seems to be costing so many relationships lately. Prayers for your family always! And thank you again for sharing yourself and wisdom with me.❤
Someone was super excited for pizza! So cute!
hey girl- yummy recipes!! 😋 Y'all have a blessed Easter weekend🥰
Don’t push vitamins. Some have hidden things. I am 79 and have never taken vitamin. You don’t need them as well as you cook. 😊
That isn't true. Vegetables and fruits don't remotely have the same nutrients content as they did when you were younger.
Ohhh your little guy is adorable!
Mmm, Crepes! Its been yeaaars!!
Great video Lisa, you always make my day a little better, thank you 🌷🇨🇦
I'm so glad!
Just love the enthusiasm of kids….one of mine went screaming through the house in excitement…Mom made broccoli! 😂
Precious! Kids are the best.
I also have the same excitement over pizza... mine is just internal 😂
Have a very Happy Easter
We love to do a hash brown casserole and we use 10 eggs for that. So I imagine for your family you could double it 🤗 Happy egg use! 😊
Awww! Your kids get to go Easter egg hunting every day. How fun!
What do you feed your chickens to get such a dark yolk? I love that. Also it brings such joy to here your babies in the background. Happy Home!!
Love your lifestyle!! Your little boy is so cute!!
He's adorable!
I wish I lived near you so I could get some of those eggs!!!
Aww Theo is so adorable ❤
Beautiful! 🕊️💜
Love the 2 yr old
🍕Pizza! Your two year old is so cute. Awe, I miss my little kids. My youngest just turned 17, but every stage has its joy. 😁
Pizza!! Your son is so cute! Thanks Lisa 🤩
