This woman is absolutely amazing! Full disclosure I could never cook and bake like this (I feel this type of food is for more of a treat or for the holidays) but every time I watch her videos I tell myself “maybe I should get up and do something instead of sitting on my butt” 😂
Hey! I just wanted to say thank you for making such inspiring videos for housewives and home makers (especially since this culture is so discouraging when it comes to being a home maker). I've not only enjoyed your videos, but they have inspired me to be more productive inside of my vocation as a wife. I recently had a miscarriage; losing my firstborn at 10 weeks flung me into depression which I have been snuggling with for months now. All the motherly instincts which come with pregnancy, my identity as a mother which came with that and the new role I was about to take on now all disintegrated and it's been hard to get myself to do things. Of course, I've come to RUclips a lot for mind numbing content, yet when I came across your videos, instead of just content and distraction, I became inspired to live this time as a housewife to the best of my ability. I've been cooking more, cleaning, and making my house beautiful. Thank you for creating a channel so helpful and inspiring, you have really helped me get back on my feet.
I was watching the video where she goes into labor with the little one she’s carrying right now. She’s unbelievable, I literally have never seen anything like it! She’s prepping and cooking WHILE she’s in labor, and just stops to put her head down once in a while she’s having contractions. She calmly finishes up all her stuff and is like I’m just going to go lay down and just have this baby real quick and just had the baby 🤷🏻♀️ like wow!! She truly blew my mind, she is just amazing!!
@lauraspangler5179 THE ARE FOUR SISTERS. SHE IS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST OF ALL OF THEM. MY RESPECT TO HER, SHE IS WELL EDUCATED AND POLITE. BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL FAMILY ❤😊
Your family is so lucky…you have all those taste testers! Your daughter is so cute serenading you with the violin. You look great in your new jeans and you don’t look like you just had a baby. I think it’s because you are always on the go. I am 74 and need to take a nap after I watch you…you tucker me out just watching you in your whirlwind of domestic chores. I so look forward to your videos! ✨🌻✨
“Amazing” seems to the the word to describe Lisa! I heartily agree. I’m so glad Walmart reached out to you as a sponsor. It makes me feel better about them and their marketing approach. I think Sam Walton would be pleased.
It’s amazing you do this with such a tiny baby. When I had my baby I was broken for months - physically broken. I wish this kind of postpartum on forth coming mamas, not my experience (fine now).
Lisa is amazing, I love to hear hear her talk & explain what she she is doing. Is there a cookbook on low sodium cooking. I now have to watch my sodium intake, so almost things have to be made from scratch. Just pick up anything canned or prepackaged, even frozen & look at the sodium content, it will blow your mind. 2:59
So sad when the episode ends. It goes by way too fast! I’m so excited that your book is getting closer to being done!!! You just whip out those fancy-shmancy doughs like nobody’s business! Wow! It all looks delicious! I didn’t know Walmart had a line of clothes like that, thank you for letting us know. I hope we get to hear Ruthie play her fiddle someday. I bet you home smells so good with all those wonderful baked items! I bet you did fabulous on your speaking engagement. Lucky folks to get to hear and meet you!
To watch what you do is purely magical! A violin in the background a morsel of a newborn on your chest creating beautiful food and a beautiful life and ….taking the time to share and teach us kind of brings tears to my eyes sometimes. I cannot wait for your book and all your content you are willing to share. Thank you❤❤❤
I have a surplus of pears right now from our last harvest and I have a ton of onions. I made pear, bacon and caramelized onions in balsamic with gruyere and homemade fig preserves on puffed pastry tonight for dinner with a pear, walnut and blue cheese salad. I should start keeping pastry in the fridge!
About to have my second baby, so excited for more blessings and continue my homemaking journey. You inspire me to keep busy and productive in motherhood
Can I just say I wanna be like you when I grow up! You’re a great inspiration to me & many others. Love your content & your family is blessed to have a wife & mom like you! You go mama! And of coarse, having a great support system, such as your husband & kids, helps each other as a unit! 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Hi Lisa I don’t know if you’ll get to read this but I just wanted to say I’ve watched every single one of your videos and shorts going right back to the beginning and I’m so pleased for you that you’re getting the views you’re getting now. It’s been so amazing to see how you’ve matured as a mum and content creator. You’ve worked so hard for so long and it’s wonderful to see you getting the rewards of all your hard work 😊🥰
I work full time and your vids just gave me the courage to give sourdough another try. Crossing fingers lol. That spinach pie sounds flipping a-MAZ-ing🎉
Hi Lisa! As a pastry chef, a tip to help you with your puff pastry, is to lightly hit the dough with your rolling pin when it comes out of the fridge before you start rolling it for the next fold. This will soften the dough while keeping the butter together so you don't get any butter leeching out. :)
@@joleneesterhuizen3150 No. The only butter you add is when you make the envelope at first. That needs to be nice and cold when you add it in otherwise you'll have puddles of butter and bad layers. During the turns you have to make sure not to warm the butter up by working it too much or by smushing it out of the dough when you're rolling.
I so enjoy that your verbal part overlays all your actions, the photography is superb! I had 6 children, we did most of the gathering and processing either canning or freezing, but I never accomplished the bread making like you have! I appreciate the way you slip in the ads for your sponsors without breaking your content! My home making days are in the past, family grown, gone, and now producing great grandchildren for us! # 10 is on the way! So now I make quilts, and lots of baby size ones! Your beautiful videos remind me of those glorious days!
I wanna be like you when I grow up 🥴I’m 40. I wish I could’ve been this for my family I love watching you. I’m glad yt will allow me to show my 4 girls what a mama is supposed to do (IMO ofc)
For frozen bread if you defrost them put it in the oven along with a bowl of water for around 10 minutes it comes out so crusty just like a fresh loaf 🥰
I printed out about 20 sourdough recipes on your website; thank you! I'm spending all September testing them with our family - tough to hit the bullseye with everyone. Today was the 6th recipe, and every one has been a hit! On the counter now is sourdough chocolate babka dough rising, and sourdough wheat bread is sliced in the cupboard. I never thought sourdough starter baked things would taste good, but they are fantastic! ❤🎉
As a new mom I just loooove watching your videos. You don’t talk like some bloggers do (no offense to them) you talk like a normal person that I could listen to in the background for several videos❤️❤️
@@FarmhouseonBoone thanks so much you too.. you have been a big inspiration for me. This is now the onto time I've been a homemaker from a very busy job!

You inspire me and have given me the confidence to try and start my own sourdough jar! Your sourdough ebook is exactly what I needed to get started! Thank you so much for sharing your life with us.
