I heard of cohort in undergrad... I always thought it was for those specialized programs that were competitive and you have to apply to seperately where you pretty much have to graduate on time like nursing, engineering, etc... Then the generic things that take people years to finish like biology, math, pych, etc... they don't really call it a cohort.
It's kinda sad that people in the US have incredibly high debts for their education. I did my bachelor basically for free in my home country. My master in Germany was also almost for free. And currently I get paid by the French government to do my PhD.

What does cohort even mean? I know that a cohort was a part of the roman legions but I doubt that's what they're referring to in this video
I heard of cohort in undergrad... I always thought it was for those specialized programs that were competitive and you have to apply to seperately where you pretty much have to graduate on time like nursing, engineering, etc... Then the generic things that take people years to finish like biology, math, pych, etc... they don't really call it a cohort.
It's kinda sad that people in the US have incredibly high debts for their education. I did my bachelor basically for free in my home country. My master in Germany was also almost for free. And currently I get paid by the French government to do my PhD.

i’m not going to college for that exact reason, i value a high education and it’s sad that i won’t be able to have one at the risk of being 60K+ in debt. College is supposed to be the safe option. It’s not even safe anymore
It’s because they go to college for dumb majors like gender studies , art, liberal arts , etc . I truly believe that if ur not going to college for stem and maybe some other exceptions like business or marketing than don’t go to college or you will have debt .
@@toastytv8832 I don’t know if you’ll see this but I’m moving abroad is so much more doable than it seems, don’t rule out moving to Europe for college. There’s a lot of help and it’s really truly easier than it seems, speaking from experience
