Police don't usually give a shit when they go missing, they usually do not have a close knit group of people who will be alarmed if she doesn't show up one day, and they *willingly* get in your car where you can do whatever to them or bring then wherever. The stats are wild for the amount of prostitutes that go "missing" or are raped/murdered/abused versus other women in other lines of work. It's foolish in all areas - a risk of life and disease for the sex worker. And a risk of addiction and destruction for the consumer.
Then the argument, "they are just making their money. Everyone has to" .. that's the same thing the heroin dealer says when you slips you a baggy with fentanyl in it by accident. He is just trying to pay his bills. Sorry if you died or got addicted or lost a friend. Just trying to pay bills, right? It's the same outcome for sex work.. danger, loss of life, lack of care or concern for oneself or *anyone* who purchases the services.
