@@roserain7034 I am mid 20's and I have stopped caring since like 20. The only thing I worry sometimes is that I one day I am gonna be older and not pretty anymore. Other than that, I am happy.
I am 24 and I felt the same way. People shouldn’t make you feel bad about it, especially if you don’t want to or are not ready for it. I was a virgin up until last month. It Was my first time ever with a person I honestly felt a connection with. I don’t regret it but that also doesn’t mean i would go and be sleeping around with people. I only did it twice and that’s it for me. Also, I didn’t have experience but my partner didn’t judge me for it. He understood and was gentle. I think that’s how those things should be.
The part about the person true but it certainly is an achievement. You convinced another human to have sex with you. Congratulations, your basic biological functions work. That's not logical as in "something you concluded based on reason" but certainly true. It's also why so many people suddenly get a boost to their self confidence when this happens - it shows them that there is nothing wrong with them on the most fundamental and basic level. That's also why so many people do it to "get it done". It takes of the pressure.
@@AATANK1804 Unfortunately, knowing that you are fine theoretically doesn't dictate that you will feel fine. Society tends to sexualise everything and to some it will feel like they are missing out from something fundamental.
Because that's the most basic thing we are supposed to do. Have sex. The irony is that today; nobody really _needs_ to get kids for the survival of the species but the basic concept remains in our deep instincts and the way those instincts formed our modern society. We want sex because being sexually active is a status symbol and as group animals, we value being valued because it increases our chances of survival in our group. That's why we want to be seen as successful, in any aspect of life. Often, it doesn't actually matter how someone is affected by what they do but if it positively affects their status, they will do it. If for example, an attractive male _decides_ not to have sex, it is a different thing because society thinks that he _could_ have sex so the power lies with him, if a guy doesn't seem like he could get laid, however, it lowers his status and people are scientifically proven to react negatively to something like that. In other words - it's about outdated biological reward and fear systems we can not control (yet). We will in a few decades though.
@@gregorwhyte3699 yes, and there are always exceptions of people who won't be judgmental, but for the majority of people sex is something they often think about and judge other people because of it. I am SO happy they had older virgins in this. I'm going on 28 and I feel...inadequate being a virgin at this age. I'm glad to hear there are others out there.
ᄋᄅ yeah waiting for marriage is great, definintly. I feel like that's where we are aiming, involuntarily xD. Bc that makes you acctually focus on the character and the relationship itself- part. I hope you find someone that fits your expectations of a relationship, and don't be afraid to say no, always be clear about what you want and what you don't want. Boundaries have to be respected. Also some guys feel pressured to have sex by society, so you should have an open talk about it, so he feels comfortable sharing what he really wants. Malek Trabelsi porn causes an unrealistic view of sex.. women are very objectified in the porn industry, men aren't really respected either/focused on (how many focus on the man? It all the woman panting). Doesn't show the messiness and passion that real sex has/can have. Also doesn't educate on sex preparedness (never have unprotected sex with a stranger.. oof. STDs. Never stick it in the anus and then the vagina. Sickness overload.) consent and the like is overlooked. Also not every woman moans and is horny all the time with thigh highs and a step bro fetich (a typical portrayal in porn).
"Guess who's virgin? " , The one watching this video Edit : My most liked comment on RUclips is about me being a virgin along with few strangers on Internet. Virgins , strong together
It's not shameful to be a virgin. If he isn't the right one, why should we lose it? Same goes for guys. It's NOT embarrassing, if she laughs at it, then she is not the right one. If your guy friends laugh at it, then they are dumb. This is our life. Not theirs. Being virgin is normal.
I don’t agree with the idea that you “lose something” when you have sex for the first time, on the contrary, you’re gaining a new experience. I’d still wait so I can get a GOOD new experience, since it can influence you afterwards.

False preachers lead people astray from what the Word actually says, and then people blame God. I'm here to tell you, that you will not go to hell for having sex before marriage. However, sex before marriage is a sin, and God does not like sin, but that is exactly why Jesus died on the cross. So we can be liberated from our sins and seek salvation in His Name. No one should feel like they are damned because of their sins, and no one should be teaching that either. When you repent, your sins are forgiven and that's the truth.

Jtrapzz3 it wouldn’t be a bad thing to mention race as a describer/adjective. Regardless of whether it’s written or read, we still see and perceive race
Jtrapzz3 But when you don’t know someone’s name, and are trying to give a physical description, there’s nothing wrong with that. People are different races and look different, but that shouldn’t keep people from “uniting”
I relate so much to the girl who's a stripper in terms of intimacy. It's like the idea of it is exciting but the actual act really unnerves me and makes me cringe.
I fantasize about intimacy but I can't see myself ever having it with anyone. Whenever I feel like someone is trying to get close to me physically (someone I know), I freak out a little (or in some instances a lot). I have had sex though in my young adulthood, but only with random strangers who I was never gonna see again and even the idea of seeing them again was scary to me. I obviously don't do that anymore and stopped a long time ago. What I'm trying to say is at least for me, sex does not automatically mean intimacy. You can have one without the other. To me intimacy means going all in, becoming fully vulnerable and truly naked emotionally and mentally with someone. That I find cringy.
@@sarawadsworth3449 I've looked up differently aspects of asexuality that I feel as though I identify with but I also find that I have a lot of commonalities of being demisexual. So, it's hard for me to define exactly where I "fit" within that.
You have a toxic mindset. The abstract concept of "virginity" was always a way to control and value women as if they were items. Imagine saying, "you lost your ability to say that you have never eaten pizza before".
@@ash12317 Have you experienced social interaction? Alot of the time people will make you feel like keeping it is childish or immature. People from the States are weird. Like are they serious? Pressuring someone to lose their virginity. Sounds insane lmao. Like why is it so important? Could never be me.
Honestly the losing your virginity is way too over rated. When i lost it i was just like "oh thats it? How disappointing". It really doesnt change anything.
Same thing I thought💀 , not really tho is it weird that I feel like I can look at any girl and find out how there body looks without clothes it’s like a superpower
It made me happy that they included people who actually wanted to do it but hadn't had the opportunity, I feel like people often assume if you're a virgin past a certain age it's because you're choosing to wait, but sometimes it's just a lack of opportunity! (Same with relationships as well)
You're not realizing a relationship is built off meeting eachothers needs. Usually, it would be limiting for an experienced person to date a virgin. Take an active partner for example- has to constantly worry about if the time is right. Or if they are being too forward (when they're used to moving that fast/slow). If they have a preference that makes them more comfortable, that is not 'treating virgins differently' that's leaving them to find someone better suited for them.
Just because we should be accepting of all people doesn’t mean that we have to be into them. You’re still allowed to have personal preferences, just don’t push them onto other people or make a norm out of them.
Le pecheur don’t think this person’s an incel, just because they’re a virgin not by their own choice. An incel is someone who is “red pill” and blames their virginity on the opposite sex.
@@luckymamaa no an incel is a direct meaning for people "virgin not by choice". that what the word mean. "involuntary celibate" (to be honest celibate don't mean virgin so your not completely wrong, and I'm not completely right) now for course being an incel is not a bad thing, I'm joking here, in the end someone is usually incel when they search for a partner, so everyone is an incel somewhere in there life. but anyway this video I don't see it as serious, so I'm making fun of it and the subject of it. no need to take everything seriously especially on those kind of video. but if you "suffer" from being alone, there something wrong. you should search and try to find the right one.
Le pecheur yes, incel means “involuntary celibate” and celibate means to abstain from marriage and sexual relations, so being an incel means you’re abstaining from those things but not by your own choice. Although it’s not directly defined as virginity, in order to be celibate, you must be a virgin. But go on any incel forum, and you’ll see it’s extremely toxic. Normal people who just can’t find a girlfriend aren’t incels, even though they are technically involuntary celibate. The community is extremist, shaming women for not dating them and having inevitable standards. It’s toxic.
Thank you for this! I'm 24 years old and a virgin and I feel like people think that it's super weird. I don't know anyone my age that hasn't had sex yet. It's nice to see completely normal and attractive people who are also virgins.
I'm also a 24 year old virgin haha. I feel like for me though it just comes from not really feeling comfortable in doing anything intimate with anyone. I haven't even kissed anyone. I guess it really does factor in with how comfortable you are with the person you're choosing to be affectionate with?? But like at the same time the idea of it is was excites me not the actual act itself. Do you ever feel like there's a pressure to just have sex with someone? Or, is it more like you're not actively seeking that out? (sorry if these questions are too personal) For me, I've just never felt the need to be in a relationship or do anything remotely sexual.
When I tell people I’m a virgin they look at me as if I’m missing something, as if just by being a virgin my thoughts and commentary is automatically nulled. As if my experiences are less than cause I haven’t experienced sex yet. I’m still a human being just like any other person and my lack of experience in one topic doesn’t mean I’m stupid or “innocent”
Omg! *THIS!* I hate when people think it's okay to dismiss virgins like their experiences or opinions are invalid. It's so rude and insensitive. For all you know a virgin could know more about sex than you do because they've done more research and asked more questions than your crappy sex ed class taught you.
@@b1njjj95 LOL I have never been in a relationship and know what a healthy relationship looks like. I've learned so much more from seeing my friends make mistakes w dating all through high school! I think u can learn so much more from not being in one
the girl who said "great!" everytime someone said they're a virgin? she's a real one. no judgement, no surprise, just genuine "yeah, that's great, tell me all about it!" we need more people like her.
I don’t see why people judge people who are still virgins. They’re just waiting for the right person :) Edit: Also other things too. I was honesty just generalizing!
Doesn't have to be even waiting for the right person. Some people just don't seek sex out particularly when they're teens, I mean there's so many things to discover in life besides that. And then at some point it will just happen with some random person. I think a lot of people don't understand that sex is just not that big of a deal to other folks, so there isn't a particular reason why they haven't had it yet. Not dismissing your argument, just thought I'd share my thoughts on it :)
Or they could be on the asexual spectrum! There shouldn't be an expectation that everybody is going to have sex eventually, it's just not always relevant in people's lives :)
you're generalizing. of course there are some virgins waiting for the right person, but there's also desperate virgins out there that would die to have sex asap but aren't able to.

Sex is NOT LOVE. Love is not sex. You can have sex and not be in love. You can be in love and not engage in sex. A man/woman may hate you and still have sex with you. Be wise. Using sex to manipulate a man or a woman will eventually fail. It’s is self deception to think that giving him or her sex with make them love you. Unconditional true love will never force you to engage in sex . A man or a woman who doesn’t love you will not change their mind. If they tell you to prove your love by having sex. They are only using you. If he or she is in it for the sex, “better sex” will take him or her away from you. Making yourself their sex slave is foolish. Love will never shame or degrade you. If you have made the mistake of trying to use sex to buy this man or woman , now is the time to re assess your relationship and build it on the right foundation. If he or she gets married to you cause the “sex is good” it will be fatale to your marriage. Let him/her marry you because he/she loves you. Honors you. Feel a strong emotional, mental and spiritual connection with you. And wants to spend the rest of his life with you.

Losing virginity is not an achievement. Its a part of life. There's no correct time but a correct person.
@@Arcaryon you know you are all fine when you have knowledge. This doesn't need a task to accomplish or a degree to prove.
@@skrill500 See - it's normal. But if it's completely ABSENT. That's when people start to get confidence issues.
@@AATANK1804 Unfortunately, knowing that you are fine theoretically doesn't dictate that you will feel fine. Society tends to sexualise everything and to some it will feel like they are missing out from something fundamental.

Virginity has always just confused me why do people get judged for not having sex, why do people get judged for having sex?
Because they're just mad they have no self control or were able to sleep with you
So why are people asexual? Life aint based around sex for everyone.
@@gregorwhyte3699 yes, and there are always exceptions of people who won't be judgmental, but for the majority of people sex is something they often think about and judge other people because of it. I feel like more often then not however, a lot of the "judging' done by friends is meant to be sarcastic and just poke fun, but because people are insecure themselves, they take it personally.

I feel like a relationship build on friendship and emotions in general is stronger than one who is build on sexual attraction. Even tho most guys seem totally into sex, from my experience with my bf, I can tell you, sometimes it's just that they feel like they have to act that way, to come off as 'manly'.

Same, I always make up scenarios in my head about what it would be like. But whenever I actually get close to it, I can't bring myself to be intimate.
Have you ever looked into asexuality? Many people on the asexuality spectrum like the concept of sex and not the act

It made me happy that they included people who actually wanted to do it but hadn't had the opportunity, I feel like people often assume if you're a virgin past a certain age it's because you're choosing to wait, but sometimes it's just a lack of opportunity! (Same with relationships as well)
I loved literally everyone in this video. Such a fun group of people.

"Being a virgin is totally okay, stop treating them differently!"
"Would you date a virgin?"
"Uh, nah"
This is how it goes.
Wojtyła
Kinda like people who say everyone is beautiful.
“Oh yeah, would you date John Merrick?”
“Nope.”
@@JustSomeCanadianGuy no that's different. Dating isn't just looks.
@@TheIntendedOutcome exactly
Just because we should be accepting of all people doesn’t mean that we have to be into them. You’re still allowed to have personal preferences, just don’t push them onto other people or make a norm out of them.
I'm a virgin by choice!
Just not my choice..
stop being a incel, being a virgin its something, an incel its something else.
Same girl. Turning 33 next months! 🤷🏻♀️
"involuntary celibate" (to be honest celibate don't mean virgin so your not completely wrong, and I'm not completely right)
now for course being an incel is not a bad thing, I'm joking here, in the end someone is usually incel when they search for a partner, so everyone is an incel somewhere in there life.
but anyway this video I don't see it as serious, so I'm making fun of it and the subject of it. no need to take everything seriously especially on those kind of video.
but if you "suffer" from being alone, there something wrong. you should search and try to find the right one.
It’s toxic.
8:08 "I think I'm waiting for me"
YES, that's such a good mindset!!!!
(sorry if these questions are too personal)
For me, I've just never felt the need to be in a relationship or do anything remotely sexual.
girl im 22! and same here
I'm 21 and a virgin... no sex before marriage 😆🙃
@@geniusonyeo good
I turn 25 in a few days, and I completely and utterly relate.
That last question "Is sex important?" I was hoping someone would say it is important but not the most important thing.
Vtmb fans are cool
I just don't get why people care so much, like I'm a virgin also and I'm not a prude. I juts haven't found the right guy that turns me on enough.
@@b1njjj95 LOL I have never been in a relationship and know what a healthy relationship looks like. I've learned so much more from seeing my friends make mistakes w dating all through high school! I think u can learn so much more from not being in one

“intimacy makes me uncomfortable” MEEEE
I don’t see why people judge people who are still virgins. They’re just waiting for the right person :)
Edit: Also other things too. I was honesty just generalizing!
chrys what a good excuse!
Teodora Patlejh yeh I get that!
“I don’t think you’re a virgin, cause you have kinks”
