Jay screaming " it's naked, it's naked" had me rolling. I feel bad that I laughed so hard, hope she's okay. But she's awesome
Thank you!
For some reason, I immediately thought of Rufus, Ron's pet from Kim Possible. Then when I saw the rat, it really did look like Rufus!😅
I love her personality too, she ran like a bat out of Hell.

The velcro one seems less like a fear to me and more of a sensory sensitivity.
Thats partly what i was thinking (as nd) i thought it might be a sensory thing, for example if i hear smth scraping in a way i can feel needles all over my body, it might not be the velcro itself but something it might link to neurologically
Yeah i think so too (i start shivering when a hear the sound of paper being torn apart, might be my ADHD)
Thought similarity too, but even if it stems from a sensory place it definitely worsened to an actual phobia cause it’s not normal to be scared if it’s just in the room.
that’s exactly what i was thinking. it made me feel bad seeing them chase her with it
@@timothyojukwu9718i don't think it have to do nothing with ADHD
I actually know the girl who owns those rats!!!! She was so so excited that she got to share her boys and she said that they got their fifteen minutes of fame 😭
She was so sweet!
She was so so nice and her rats were awesome ❤
Awww that's so sweet ❤
Those rats were absolutely adorable. Please thank her for sharing them, thank you!
they’re adorable
This isn't really "guess the phobia", it's more like "show a bunch of people what they are scared of and see how they react".
Yeah it would be fun if they had a list first and then gave people the fobia and afterwards bring the animals/objects. So they still actually had to guess
I agree!! The phobia vids are boring….like there’s no “game” it’s too easy
Absolutely, also I feel bad for these people!

Wow I’m impressed by the girl with the tarantula phobia. Good for her
Right? The "Hi sweetie!" really surprised me!
Not for me. I’ll cryyyy
Once they start running, I panic lol
That's the thing with most creatures. If you remain calm, they will be calm. Nonetheless, towards rats and mice, I now have disgust.
because she doesn’t actually have a “phobia”. half of this lineup probably self diagnosed themselves
I don’t like how they all seemed to not treat the girl afraid of Velcro very well. It seems like chased her around and aggravated her with it far more than they did with anybody else’s fear. They seemed much less empathetic about it, simply because they didn’t get it. It almost seemed like they were making fun of her.
I hate it when people react that way. So ignorant, just because they don’t get it.
Yep. Especially since it's obviously a sensory issue, nothing trauma-related.
Yeahh at least a couple other ppl there were scared of the animals n stuff, nobody takes noises seriously lol. I think it's more okay, she wasn't scared scared, just obv uncomfortable. Don't most ppl have that reaction w nails on chalkboard type sound? If I hear high pitched electric noises it makes me twitch weird the same way 😂 sucks and I hate it and it makes me gag and run away but like... it's not frightening just irritating and gross.
THANK YOU!! i just paused it at this part and came to the comments bc wtf?? it's OBVIOUSLY a sensory thing that she has no control over!! i react the SAME EXACT WAY with tin foil. i wouldn't call it a phobia but i absolutely cannot stand the sound or feeling of it touching itself

I am glad they didn’t throw him off the channel after whatever he did on The Button. He is and will always be my favorite. He shouldn’t be cancelled anyway, he was just being himself for whatever it was. Love Curtis.
I don’t like how they kept tearing the Velcro apart once they knew who it was like they were clearly tormenting the person
Yooooooo I dat part was awful!
I 100% agree with you. They were literally making fun of them for having that phobia. So disrespectful of them.
Yeah, I’m ND and sounds like that aren’t fears but they sound awful and makes you want to rip off your skin or throw up. It’s actually painful so I felt bad for them
Most likely a sensory issue
Gotta love Curtis for oversharing the weirdest stuff once again

He’s my favorite for this exact reason
@oreochocolate_lavacake9960 Bro sometimes you run out I guess 😂 improvisation? 💀
Although it looked funny at first, I felt bad for the person who had the fear of velcro because you can tell it was not easy for them while to us who does not have a phobia it seems like nothing. I'm proud of them tho for facing the fear afterwards.
I think it was less of a fear and more of a sensory issue. That’s how I am with gum popping or mouth popping bubble noises. So it was more painful than scary

12:12 the cut from her screaming to the other girl calling the rat a sweet baby is gold
I don’t think some of the people had actual phobias mostly just fears bc a phobia is so extreme that they wouldn’t be so open to facing their fears so easily/fast. Especially when the girl was holding the spider and calling it sweetie. She just had a fear. Phobias are so intense it literally would probably take therapy/more time to overcome. Jay definitely has a phobia of rats 😭
What the guessers did with them is what is done in therapy to overcome phobias, tho. It's literally called exposure therapy because what you're looking for is the person being capable of 'going through' their fear. If you go to exposure therapy to get over your phobia, you should be open to face your fear directly, because that's the entire point of the therapy.
I agree, I have an actual arachnophobia and the thought of even holding one doesn’t occur to me! I even had to turn my phone away and slightly cover the screen during that part of the video
As a megalophobic i can 100% confirm, its not just a fear for me, i literally get a physical reaction from massive things larger than buildings, people have made fun of me for it but its truly a horrible phobia, i get phobia nightmares too so when i had a megalophobic nightmare i legit thought i was gonna die and woke up in a pool of my own sweat, phobias aint no joke
Yeah. I'm freaked out by large insects, I don't want to be around them, but I'm not afraid to the extent that it would cause me distress. However, I have an actual phobia of fire. I can't be around flames at all, not even a tiny candle. I get really stressed and anxious about it, I start thinking it'll cause an accident. And it impacts my everyday life, for example, I'm constantly terrified when cooking. That's the difference between a fear and a phobia.
Bless you! ♥️🙏🏽
can anita please get her own show, idc what she does, she just is a vibe
bright future behind her indeed.
The bit with the tarantula where she didnt change expresion at all and just " what the fuck" had me laughing out loud😭
Curtis was so wholesome here, he genuinely tried to help some of them and didn't make fun of anyone. Especially the one with the spider, where he had the spider crawl on him first to show the girl it's okay. Very empathetic and supportive 👏❤️
Well ..he was torturing the person with the velcro a lil bit 😅
@@WothiI agree. The way he danced around with the velcro must’ve been so belittling.
Nah, he was mocking the person afraid of velcro (and he was enjoying it) he looked like a highschool bully
As someone who's done exposure therapy, I'd like to applaud everyone who agreed to be in this video! Being exposed to your phobia -- especially in a public way -- can be really intimidating, and they were all so open and willing to put themselves out there. Bravo!
That said, I don't like how they treated the person with the velcro phobia. It seemed cruel when they were clearly so uncomfortable.
12:07 Unclear on whether or not it was nekkid 😂
Anita made me fall in love 😩 what an absolute beautiful human, inside and out.
She looked so exuberant!
i was starstruck every time she came on screen 😖😖😖

Aaw, Curtis was so good with these people! A lot of people faced their fears that day, I hope most of them came out stronger.
11:25 possibly one of the funniest Cut moments ive seen in a long time
Fr lol
When the girl with the ant phobia was talking about how she'd never seen ants on her picnic blanket or else "you'd see another side of her," I really felt that. As someone with several phobias myself, I really really felt that lol
okay Anita is actually stunning
also love how they all clap for each other and are so supportive aw
i think the reaction of Jay's towards the rat illustrates the difference between a fear and an actual phobia. I think most of the people in the video had more or less strong fears (the girl with the fear of ants seemed the closest to a phobia), cause to be fair, they probably wouldn't have agreed to be in this video in the first place lmao but Jay's extreme reaction and complete refusal to even be in the same room as the rat is illustrative of an intense phobia. My mom has a phobia of snakes and she can't even see a picture of one without losing it like that
I just commented the exact same thing! It’s really unfortunate how the word “phobia” is misused because it’s genuinely harmful to those who really experience it. The way the girl reacted with the rat reminded me of my family member who is deathly afraid of ALL rodents. Most people with phobias don’t even want to look at them on a screen.
Exactly. Your moms phobia is the same as mine, it’s awful 😩😩
Yep that’s how I am with moths and butterflies, like I start crying it’s that bad.
This, I have felinophobia (not including cats) and I can't even see images 😢

I feel like the word iconic is overused that it's lost all meaning.
I love this channel, this series and this video, but that's going jjjjuuuusssstttt a bit far.
People will watch a video of someone who hates spicy food eating some chili peppers and call it iconic.

I relate heavily to the person who hates velcro (giving a lot of the signs of someone with sensory issues). As someone with sensory issues, certain things people might laugh at make my skin crawl or make me want to scream. I wish people would be more accepting and understanding of people being against “silly” things.

I'm so annoyed with my phobia of spiders, I get that they're cool and useful but they just make my skin crawl when I see them. Somehow tarantulas make me feel less weird, like their size and "hairiness" makes them feel more like animals I guess?
I’m the same way with spider size. The bigger they are and the fuzzier they are, the less horrifying they are. The only ones that really freak me out are daddy long legs.
