The molch island offenders could be grinding basic Ironman stuff for Ironman account buyers. Or they could be being paid by the owner to level the account. Ironmen do it too, hang around in an iron clan and you’ll see it.
I was about to make that exact same comment, but I see you've beat me to the punch! Kinda sad that people would be willing to buy ironman accounts that are already levelled. Kinda defeats the whole purpose of playing Ironman to begin with.

It's funny, how some of those "weird" bots could actually be people like me, who love doing stupid shit in stupid ways and are scared of talking to people. I can't wait to be banned one day, because I chose to level a char to 90 combat stats by killing a billion chickens, lmao.
There was old dude that sat at the birdhouse spot for like a year straight just so somebody would make a video about him hahaha. Be careful what you allow yourself to believe is important.
The only other possibility for the aerial fishing thing I can think of is a bot farm for account selling. As someone who has spent far too long Aerial fishing (I have the fish sack barrel) while there is a slight amount of GP to be had if you cut fish instead of dropping them, it's too small to really consider. Aerial fishing is a great way to train both hunter and fishing at the same time, and perhaps the prestige of owing a fish sack might be appealing to some account buyers.
That was my thought aswell, selling accounts that have the 'boring' stats already trained. I.E runecrafting, firemaking, hunter and fishing with most of them also having thieving and agility trained a bit too. Would also explain why there are both ironmen and regular accounts there as theres a market for both and I'd immagine a trained ironman sells for more than a regular account too
@@DuraOSRS I agree, myself, and many others have been emailing him screenshots of both darkmeyer, and prif bot farms for months. Just ignores them. He is more interested in exploit videos, cus they get him more views.
I know you focus on the more interesting things, but what about things that are greatly effecting the economy of the game? Like the massive prif, and darkmeyer thieving farms, that use dozens, if not hundreds of tailor made bots, or stolen accounts. I have discovered some accounts nearing max thieving xp. The price of enhanced teleport crystals has more than halved, and in turn, it is ruining crystal based gear sets, by making crystal shards far to accessible. There are already dozens of us in the comments saying the same thing. I think it is time for some serious nuking to take place.
Yep. That’s what I do to report the insta-hopping Prifdinnas Thieving bots. They log in under me and immediately hop. Happens at the spot just south of the Prif PoH portal.
Literally just noticing a mass bot farm across almost all f2p worlds. Mage training on the lesser demon at the wizards tower. Every account is just holding a fire staff, casting fire strike. They stand in the exact same spot near every world. No response, some logged instantly after a kill. Only to attempt to attack the demon, but can’t. Took maybe 3 minutes for the one account to start attacking again. Only reason this is annoying is because I can’t find a world that’s empty to train my UIM and get the drops.
Not sure if it's a bug, but right now on world 330, Strong Gaurd is still there but I am unable to add them to my friends list. Says account doesn't exist? Weird
ive been seeing what appears to be a bot farm in the back of motherload mine. 40 in all stats except for wood cutting 72 fire 55 and mining 71 and no member stats.
I wonder if Jagex could allow a lingering player model for 5-10 seconds if a player/bot teleports/changes worlds/logs out. The account is still treated as if it gone so no players can pk or monsters can kill, but it's a visual thing for, at the very least, pmods so they can click the player and ban/mute. Or quite possibly the opposite for pmods. An invisible ghost mode that is undetectable for all players for pmods. Pmod gets serious, activates ghost mode, sneaks up on bots that would normally runaway at the sight of pmods.
They could do something like that, but they won't. They could also just have less tolerance on their bot detection. As it stands they likely won't do either of those things because they don't want to ban real players on a higher scale, they don't want to invest any more resources into banning obvious bots, they don't want to have to implement something like you are suggesting because of "spaghetti code", and they in all likelihood see "some" bots as a necessary evil. I firmly believe we are stuck with the way things are.
The fact that Jagex doesn't stop those spambots/gambling bots makes it pretty obvious they care more about Membership money than "cleaning the streets". Proper unicode/custom character filters, more aggressive monitoring systems, even rewards for players who report the bots. A more solid and permanent mute system.

There is a huge market for accounts with more achievements completed. I quit osrs a few years ago and I looked into selling my account. At the time I was over 2k total, quest cape, ect ect. It was worth like $800 usd but I decided to see what other accounts they were selling. Specific pk accounts and staking accounts were dirt cheap. Like a 99 str and 99 range account was $80 usd. Staking accounts 99 att are def went for just 60 dollars. Ironmen account with base 80s went for nearly $1,000 usd and I saw one hcim that went for thousands. Point is if the account has graceful, fishing outfits, lumberjack, ect you add value to the account. There is a market for people who buy accomplished accounts and pretend they did those accomplishments.
Tons of bot accounts pickpocketing vyres. They log out the second you log in but enough time to right click and lookup player to report. Min stats huge thieving xp
You know, a clever way to combat this, would be to put an NPC inside of the GE and have it flagged as a pmod. When this happens, these accounts would think there is a pmod and would not stick around to scam.
Pmods should get access to scrying the GE or something. I guess the bots could just move somewhere else, but at least the GE would finally be at peace. What a beautiful dream...

It isn't hard to program, you just don't send the data, and if they got spaghetti code, they can just add an if stmt on the server that checks all the out going location updates and drop everything that is related to a mod. I am guess thing you haven't done much coding, so I will let you in on a little secrete. The stuff you think is hard is generally the quickest stuff, and the stuff you think will be easy tend to take a long time
@@__Brandon__ ive done plenty of c# and C++ in regards to modding/exploiting, and as i said...IF it sends packets. i dont trust jagex to get a fleshed out system for shit. theyd half ass it and be done. "just dont send data" is an issue in itself, the client wouldnt know what to do with itself. if you dont send position updates, the client would never see that its moved.
The aerial fishing farm seems like someone who is building up accounts too sell especially since it’s a mix of iron and normal accounts
Strong Guard isn't here atm, just tried to find them :(
The fossil island wyvern accounts could also just be venezuelan goldfarmers running multiple accounts. Teleporting when you said report was weird though.
how can it be the same account when strong guard is 1 def and the other ones are using a dfs

new OSRS fad just dropped: NPC accounts
Bro, there is currently a huge bot farm on motherload mine. All high mining, low combat lvl and many of them got the golem pet lol
You can still add banned accounts to your Friends list btw. So yeah, they're banned as those accounts still exists (are addable) but no stats anymore on the Hiscores like you said.
What scares me if not talking makes you a bot then I look like a bot cause I rarely respond to other players. I play games to isolate so I keep my chat bar off 😂
There is a huge market for accounts with more achievements completed. There is a market for people who buy accomplished accounts and pretend they did those accomplishments.
strong guard wasnt there 5pm AEST :(
Tons of bot accounts pickpocketing vyres.
“Weak Guard” was next to him the other day
The ear buds add tho 😂good job SirPugger hahah
Pmod system needs and overhaul.
Everything about it. Transparency, application process, discipline, retirement.
End to end analysis.
Most likely, those molch island accounts are being made for sale as pre-leveled accounts. surprised you didn't realize this was a thing tbh; it used to be very common back in the heyday of rs2 botting.
Imagine your only resort to gain attention, status and notoriety was standing doing nothing in a video game for months on end............
I roleplay as a falador guard all the time, i used to have a gang of falador guards that ran with me, and we have fought with factions such as zamorak monk roleplayers, and farmer jeff roleplayers
The fact runescape created this system is the most strange thing. Who cares there are bots? Runescape loves them.
i wish youtube would just automatically put any upload of yours into my watch later playlist lol,
