Beneath yanille there's a PVM Melee bot farm killing Chaos druids. I've been reporting bots in every world.
I think if someone finds a game breaking bug like this, and reports it to Jagex without abusing it first, should be awarded with like 6-12 months of membership for free.

The reason there are 2 different variations of the graceful cape (and all other graceful items) is to do with the weight-reducing effect. Graceful only gives negative weight when worn, not while in the inventory. For this reason, when you wear any graceful item, it will actually put a different variation (with negative weight) in your equipment, than what you had in your inventory. When taking it off, it normally does the opposite. Removing the penguin suit likely has some kind of stall that messes with the order these things are meant to happen in.
Come to think of it, this is also true for max capes (ONLY the plain one though, because it gives the -4 kg from agility cape). This means someone could have abused this same bug with max cape, and sold them back to Max for 1,821,600 coins each.
I also thought it had to do something with that.

5:40 That F2P bot, the magers one, is owned by one of the people who usually wear guilded in the CWs. He has hundreds of accounts, if not even more. He has numerous 126cmb accounts that he did the same thing to. I spoke to him before. It’s been about a year or so so I don’t remember his name. But I hung out with them and he used to basically NS attack anyone who attacked his friends there with the 50+ 126 cmb accounts.

Honestly the fact that you and the community put in the time and effort to checking out these bot farms and getting them banned makes runescape a better game and must help jagex a lot. You legends!

the bots will have 62 woodcutting because that is one of the requirements for the sins of the father quest and it is also a requirement for one of the medium wilderness diary tasks as well
Honestly, I think that the guy that reported the bug, recorded it, and gave the information to Jagex instead of abusing it should be given lifetime membership. This sorta thing would have taken a few days for the Jagex team to notice if abused heavily and that is literally billions of exploited gold that isn't being put into the market. Sure, the guy would have been banned for doing it but that is potentially a lot of damage to the market.

Was banking at wintertodt today and witnessed 6-8 nearly maxed accounts teleport in at the same tick. All wearing karils, fang, and amulet of torture. Most were level 122 combat with insane corp kc. Some had 5k+ corp kc. They bank at wintertodt then all teleport out on the same tick. Sorry if you’ve already checked out this farm, just thought it was wild.

Before destroy item was embedded on quest items (in place of the drop option) or achievement/milestone specific items (like mining gloves, or agility outfit parts) I found a bug with the Chalice of Eternity. If you dropped it on the ground at the Camelot teleport area it would place the Chalice on the ground, but you could pick it up twice. Not that it had any practical use, I reported it and left the Chalices on my account for someone to login and see what was going on. I found a similar bug during Murder Mystery (at the Sinclair Mansion), I used it to dupe Anna's silver necklace-I thought it was a pretty cool looking item, but reaching the end of the quest destroyed all instances of the item, the one I had in my inventory was removed, the one in my bank was removed, and the one I was wearing also disappeared. I don't think anything like this is possible anymore, since most quest items are only allowed for removal with destroy item, back before OSRS maybe if you dropped the dupes on the ground before finishing the quest maybe you would be able to pick them up after whatever cleanup code is ran on your inventory/bank to remove quest items.

While thinking about bot farms from this video, I recently ran into a fairly large flax spinning group of bots on world 484. They all have ridiculous crafting levels and randomly generated names.
My only experience with a “dupe” was getting all the pouches again after having a colossal pouch. This was possible if your colosal pouch degraded. The weird thing was though if you put essence in one pouch and then put more essence in a colosal pouch, the game would just delete the essence you put in the first pouch. And then Visa versa
I saw you hopping at Green drags while doing a slayer task on my iron man, I used that exact spot the bots were using. I hopped really fast assuming I was about to get got but I recognize the gear and location. Lol.
There was a bug I found that only worked in GWD and you could only dupe unnoted potions and even then I think it was just server to user delay going overboard. I tried it with coins and other stackable items but could never pull it off with anything other than potions; regardless I submitted it to Jagex and didn't try again
Yo @sirpugger I've been seeing a lot of wildy red spider egg bots flooding every world,also a lot of bots running orbs in wildy dungeon beside mage arena where fire giants are.. just a heads up,love the work you do brotha keep it up!
If the bug was possible with any cape, not just graceful, it could be exploited a lot further. Easy clue unique capes could tank in price, infernal capes could be duped then traded in for the pet and/or tokkul to buy stuff from tzhaar shops

Could you comment on the blood shard thieving bots in the house next to the darkmeyer teleport? They are incredibly easy to spot, you can view the inside of the building and look at their name before entering and triggering their auto log. Just world hop outside of the building and there's usually one on whatever world you end up on. Their auto log out/hop trigger seems to be the 2nd room that's a kitchen. They will fight you to keep the final rooms door open if they log on to your world if you were there first. 1 in most stats, 120+ thieving usually.
They even have bots killing the vampyres for blood shards in every world lol
I always assumed most of those were alt accounts.
If this were possible with any Cape, I think you could do it with infernal capes to trade for the pet or tokkul... might be faster to get onyxs than doing this
Hey man, today I tried to train at ammonite crabs on fossil island and was blown away how hard it was to find a spot. I tried talking to different people but didn't get any responses. Seemed to be full of bots. Thanks for you good work sir 🤘🙌👍

thers so many bots in the tav dungeon at chaos druids. its like every world ive noticed that recently
“If” that’s a herb/birdhouse bot farm. They’re not even making much per hr. Maybe 300k at most, mostly depending on the seeds from nests. They don’t even have the farming cape perk.
So many Elf thieving bots, you can find them all over Prifindas typically with thieve capes, sometimes even still with ibans equipped from killing Seren lmao.
Try Chaos Druids in Taverly Dungeon. I hopped every world, and someone with a Bot-Like name in every world. Full adamant and same necklace.
I'm gonna guess it has something to do with the agility skill cape inheriting properties of the Graceful Cape? Not too sure...
Wow, that dude was actually really dumb honestly. I would've done that for 2-3 hours a day every single day. You probably could have done this for a solid few months before fixes or bans came, and by that time you'd already have made almost 20,000 USD. You'd be getting paid a six figure salary for working a few hours a day. Dude just discovered a once in a lifetime gold mine and threw it away.

that is a mutiboxer. they have advanced heavily and will sync up now a days. thats why the bots are running back to the same title

I think a lot of the farming bots go on Australian worlds, a lot of them farming there have very similar patterns and movements

Jagex needs to have some rewards for discovering and reporting major bugs. Like, one of the Experiment creatures from Fenkenstain's experiment cave as a pet or something.
I found a few bugs that duplicate all slayer drops in RS3. Idk if it works anymore I stopped using it a couple of years ago when bossing became more profitable than double drop slayer mobs

I have the Runelite bot detector add in. Is it just based off stats? It says Sir Pugger is 34% unknown bot (which would be a real plot twist) and I am 2% unknown bot. I actually noticed it dropped down from 3% after leveling up my construction recently.
I was high alching earth battlestaves the other day, somehow I equipped one while the "click the item to high alch" prompt was up, sat and stared at my fire staff now in my inventory for easily 15 seconds thinking what the hell, clicked another battlestaff, it alched it and the earth staff was still equipped. Only had nats and unnoted (sue me) earth battlestaves in inventory

Those emerald bolt dragon killers have been around for the last 3 years.
A lot of them used to be Venezuelans, because I used to pk them on my pure for 3-4m an hour.

Jagex should add a spell/item that deals damage to 50+ targets over time like a beam of light so long as they’re on the same tile. Reaaaally want to see some massive bot explosions when they’re all stacking like that
already a video on it, forgot who by or the name but it was a guy who ran a bunch of accounts manually and then made them explode to kill people in wildy.
It was a cool video but super inefficient and lost him like tens of milllions of gp, as well as multiple weeks worth of time. And at one point a bunch of accounts were banned for being suspected of botting, even though they werent botted.

@SirPugger, im not sure if this is the place but ive been finding lots of bots with weird stats at blast mining... they have all 40 combat stats and camp mining here, probably moneymaking... i think they are all part of 1 group. Just saw one with the pet and thats the final straw haha

I found a huge bot farm killing lava dragons in wildy a few days ago. I killed a bunch and the bot farm owners got on and double teamed me. I got a screenshot of the owners name and some of the bots. Where do I send their info into?
Hey sirpugger how do I get in contact with jagex I woke up the other morning to my account being band and it saying for using a macro and I genuinely wasn’t but can’t find any way to contact them my account was only 74 but I worked read hard on it I even reported 4 bots I seen in the day before getting the ban is there any I can do?
Could the dupe have been done with Skull capes / obby capes / the other expensive TT teams capes?

To be honest the group iron man bug doesn’t really matter besides the RWT part, it’s people paying to get their group iron men ahead but they lose their ranked status so it doesn’t effect the high scores. It’s basically iron men who have given up or want to have more fun with friends 🤷♂️ once u realize they’re unranked they have nothing to gloat about because unranked group iron men can invite regular iron men to their groups anyways so whether they use an old ironman account to get the gear or buy it off another ironman makes no difference.

as honest as this guy/girl is, it's not they who made the mistakes. That belongs to whoever QA tests the code that the developers push. An implementation could be put in place that a unique reward should go to the players who report these bugs. That way there is more incentive to do so.

idk if i would report any bug ingame i find.. even if i would tell jagex, they would ban me for abusing it eventho i would do it jsut to test, also they would check my accounts more, and i might be run some kinda plugin thats not allowed, it would just attract their interest to me and thats some i would not want...

@sirpugger there are many bots in f2p, at all mining areas(varrock, al kharid and rimmington, most of them got 70 mining and they rush f2p mining stars, they must be banned, the system doesnt ban them as they got 70+ mining
Honestly, if I ever found a dupe that had very little chance of being discovered or being caught taking advantage of it, I wouldn't report it. Money making freaking sucks in this game. I wouldn't even feel bad about it.

Recently ice see alof of l lvl 5 bots on f2p in Port Salem, South of Falador, chopping oak trees then banking. I kept thinking... why are these guys walking so far to bank oak logs.
Then I see the same level 5s filling water containers in Falador near the haircut npc ... I'm only on f2p right because of my new lvl 3 akiller trying something different for a break from my main.

Revenant hobgoblin bot farm. Combats range from mid 50s-low 70s with almost no skills trained other than animal mag reqs. Blue-red-black dhide with snakeskin caps, msbs, rune arrows. Pretty sophisticated and difficult to kill with auto pray switch's and certain pathing when a skulled player or anyone with mage gear is in screen. They even fight back and msb spec if you're low enough hp. I've reported 100+.
what about the large number of level 3's that are fishing minnows not sure if they are bots but they wont talk.
I just want to say that people go through a lot of hoops to not play the game, the rs community continues to be unhinged and based off the black market

i'm 33m farming xp on my zerk and 97 on my iron man pure. the farming bots seem to be linked to birdhouse bots too. ive seen so many but i dont farm much these days

Small bot farm. Doesn’t make as much as most people would think. Some can be alts while they afk on their main. Also a lot of players do runs while on mobile at work or on lunch break. It’s not too hard to do.
No one answered you at clanwars because the people training are auto clicking the attack spot. Sometimes you'll see the auto clickers broken outside clan wars.

I really hope he got more than a thanks. It wouldn't take much to mass produce this exploit with bots. The guy prevented exploiters from getting many billions. It should be policy that you get an hour worth of doing an exploit in bonds if you report something that jagex doesn't know about.
