That low level revenant farm might actually just be a way for them to train up accounts whilst making profit, actually pretty smart if you think about it.
The worst part about the f2p botting issue is that this is the new player experience: potential customers who are trying out the game are in a world that it is almost exclusively bots: Noone communicates and endlessly occupy useful resource locations. It must be very off putting. Any legitimate players are even less likely to attempt social interaction as a result, simply under the belief that everyone else is a bot.
Maybe a good work-around would be an exclusive world (or 2-3 of them) f2p players are recommended to join after tutorial island that prompts them with multiple "im not a robot" checks and puzzles before logging onto. This would discourage botters from using it because its just extra code when they can still use other worlds and maybe more regular moderator checks on these worlds seeing as they would only have to scout 2-3 worlds instead of the like 30 f2p worlds and they would only have to keep the low level resource locations clean. It's not a solution but it might give new players who are fed up with bots from quitting early game until they get addicted or buy mems. (these worlds should always be optional never forced)
Where are you going in F2P? People are WAY more social and talkative in F2P than in Members almost anywhere you go, bots or no bots. Members is just barren empty spaces a lot of the time because of how big the world is now and how everyone plays "efficiently" instead of having fun. The peeps in F2P are confined into a much smaller world and love to hang out and chat, it's fun to hop onto there every now and then to unwind from the grind.
For years there was this one bot farm in 05-07 runescape, wish i could remember the name. maybe somethign like xuai? xuie? i can't remember but they were EVERYWHERE
I have been dissappointed in jagex for years because of bots. It feels like 70% of the little player base are bots. They spent time porting OSRS to mobile and it really seems like they need bots to stay alive. The work to get rid of bots outweighs the investment pay off. They probably don't have enough $$ for Temporary log systems. There are many key flag indicators which identify a bot which are very light weight on databases. - Captchas events. - Time online. - Level up per hour. - Chuck IDs explored in session (Are they identical to last session?) - Hardware / Mac address limit. - Monitor mass login events. (30 android phones logging in at the same minute / second time is sussy baka) - Idle time vs play (very light weight running tally script) inactive time vs active time. No idle? Sus. - Scramble UI table position, order by algorithm. (Home teleport is at position 1, make it position 7, then put position 7 as 1) - Log home teleport inventory worth - Total play time vs account creation. (22 hours a day for 30 days. Flag as sus) - Home teleport slider > after home teleporting, slap an intrusive ui slider minigame like draw a shape or complete this maze or "click the star" > Still allow players to play with the extremely invasive popup up but Flag players who ignore the maze after 30 seconds. Rip botscape
As a real player i'd hate captchas and home teleport slider thing (which bots could do easily). Theres also captcha solving services that use 3rd world labour to solve them at a cost of like 0.03p per captcha Everything else that you mentioned jagex probably already does, botters work around it. All the statistical analysis you mentioned is already done by Jagex and it does catch botters eventually, though by that time they've already cleaned the account(s), sold the gold and started a new account.
Bots are basically a higher risk npc in the wilderness, I think it's brilliant jagex is keeping them, but making them a lot easier to kill. Since the items in the economy seem to be kept low by the bots flooding the market with items, they shouldn't straight up get rid of them. No self respecting human should have to pick flax ever again. That's what the bots are for, and that makes them great targets. Seems like a good place to start pvping. Great decision by Jagex tbh, and great video, as always
Those bots that have kit in their name isn't due the botter leaving a signature. I've been botting for 6 years and generally what they are doing is incorporating "kit" in their recorded base automation and when the automation plays back it just variates text before or after "kit" when it generates the accounts. Usually done by amateur botters.
12:06 and i thought 4-5 accounts killing diablo clones was multiboxing :o That picture is amazing if thats how some of these things are performed over who knows how many games.
Hey check out a bot farm I found in Shilo Village. They were all level 17 and had over 100m cooling xp and 80 plus smithing using the furnace just below the bank. No idea what they were doing. It was a low pop us East style ping worlds.
So I could be wrong but I think the kit bots are made by a fan of kitboga. He is a scam baiter (phone calls not osrs) but he makes a ton of osrs references when messing with scammers.
10HP 85 mage splashed mage pure accounts are 44cb. The low level imp bot farm would be able to be TB'd and killed for quite some time with an account like that. If you were dedicated enough to do so you could even make an ironman with that stat specification that had very low risk that is easily replaceable, enable loot keys on it, and once you've killed 5 bots, offload the keys onto a main. You wouldn't get out of combat range for that bot farm on it since PvP xp is nullified for Ironman accounts.
I found bots cutting oak with kit in there name. A few of them where mining also. I found a high level following one of the oak bots. Think it might have been the owner. When I sat around for a min watching the bot ran off and so did the player.
pkers are normal players too. sure it will make it harder for some to escape but you're in the wilderness in an extremely rewarding cave so the risk should also be extremely high. acceptable trade imo
Jagex made it harder for legit players to get away from pkers because of cheat clients that allow people to tele out faster..... but those same cheat clients also allow for player to instantly teleblock the same people that now have to wait longer to tele. Big brain update by Jagex.
this is why you play ironman and get the rest of the RS experience you can before it inevitably is shut down. RS is the perfect environment to learn how to program interactive programs in.
I enjoy your videos. I wonder if you could inspire Jagex to do something about these vyre pickpocketing bots. On my road to 99 thieving, I've seen 50 times more bots than actual players at Vallessia von Pitt's house. Do you have any comments about the futility of trying to stop a bot farm of this magnitude? Or do you suppose something could be done? I mean the time that goes into making these bots just to be able to pickpocket vyres has got to be crazy.... I'm sure you could convince them it's worthwhile to try and stop it.
So the bots are stuck at draynor manor are bots that quest the f2p quest so they can then sell the account as 10 quest trading threshold is done. I was told about this through a bot hunter I know
So I really suck at RuneScape but I was trying to bury bones at the choas alter. I did it with no problems then felt ballsy took 1m worth of bones in as soon as I teleport in someone logs in, so I hop worlds, every world I hop to this person instantly appears logging in. This even happened on f2p. So I tried to get out of the wildy and was like nah I’ll try later. I was not even moving and when I tried to log out it said unable to log out in combat, then like guy logs in about 10 seconds after I get that message and kills me
any bot will accept commands commonly passed in private messages so if you really wanna screw with them keep a list of what commands you try and keep trying them or write a script to execute a dictionary attack with a bot that just messages them random words
Yeah it's wild right now, to be honest the only way to get Jagex to notice is if a popular RUclipsr was to get like 1000 people to flood a f2p server and roast the bots and the dev team on live stream for ignoring the problem. Someone should set up a "Mark the day" scenario and all go back to F2P for a day.
Kit is a noob bot, designed to emulate a noob wondering how to open the door. Just kidding, but it might not actually be broken, it could be attempting to abuse something to age the account enough to be able to trade freely.

That low level revenant farm might actually just be a way for them to train up accounts whilst making profit, actually pretty smart if you think about it.
Those "kit" bots were also in Varrock cutting down Oak logs as well.
What an abrupt ending.
Good job on the bot hunt.
Seen the bots in Draynor Manor a few times. Was kinda weird but I just ignored them.
- Chuck IDs explored in session (Are they identical to last session?)
- Hardware / Mac address limit.
- Monitor mass login events. (30 android phones logging in at the same minute / second time is sussy baka)
- Idle time vs play (very light weight running tally script) inactive time vs active time. No idle? Sus.
- Scramble UI table position, order by algorithm. (Home teleport is at position 1, make it position 7, then put position 7 as 1)
- Log home teleport inventory worth
- Total play time vs account creation. (22 hours a day for 30 days. Flag as sus)
- Home teleport slider > after home teleporting, slap an intrusive ui slider minigame like draw a shape or complete this maze or "click the star" > Still allow players to play with the extremely invasive popup up but Flag players who ignore the maze after 30 seconds.
Rip botscape
Rip
As a real player i'd hate captchas and home teleport slider thing (which bots could do easily). Theres also captcha solving services that use 3rd world labour to solve them at a cost of like 0.03p per captcha
Everything else that you mentioned jagex probably already does, botters work around it. All the statistical analysis you mentioned is already done by Jagex and it does catch botters eventually, though by that time they've already cleaned the account(s), sold the gold and started a new account.
Osrs community is really only like 5k ppl, some play 200 accounts on mobile phones others have a handful and the rest are bots
you forgot the bots fly fishing in barbarian village theres at least 5 per world f2p aswell
i went to green drags last night and saw 3...they ran like deer. swapped worlds 3 again, swapped worlds, 3 more. crazy amount of bots out there.
There was another "kit'", "riley kit" mining clay at 8:43
I logged into black chins today for an hour and it was a ghost town. Not sure if its related, but it was weird
Nah. Fuck bots. The people who pick flax would have a much great ROI for actually doing it if boys were gone. May they never return
Broke my foot great time to get back into odds thanks sirpugger for putting nostalgia in my head lol
OH SNAP IT WAS YOU RUNNING AROUND IMPS I WAS FREAKING OUT
That's an awesome change from Jagex, pwn the bots
You ain’t kiddin! The monk robe bots were short lived but I’m glad we dipped into their pockets while we could 🤑
so they were able to 100% of the bots. which means those with inhuman abilities cant get away. meaning the average player cant either now...
Justifiable trade. Just get better at the game and stop having shitty stats. Based update.
@@sleepyjo9340 maybe better bot detection would be better than having jagex screw over players because they cant seem to fix there game.

I feel like Runescape purely exists as a RWT scheme at this point and for RUclipsrs to get sponsored by ExpressVPN. Sad but true.
Basically
You're way in over your head with that unproven crap lol
Those bots that have kit in their name isn't due the botter leaving a signature. I've been botting for 6 years and generally what they are doing is incorporating "kit" in their recorded base automation and when the automation plays back it just variates text before or after "kit" when it generates the accounts. Usually done by amateur botters.
Surprised you didnt check Karamja fishing, rcing alters, ess mines, alkarid mine, wilderness rune rock, castle wars, barb village fishing.
12:06 and i thought 4-5 accounts killing diablo clones was multiboxing :o That picture is amazing if thats how some of these things are performed over who knows how many games.
0:32 shall be 2 ticks, even tho the countdown starts from 2 seconds but the post at 0:26 says 2 ticks
Wow this just makes me wonder how many bots make up the osrs community lol
I was killing bots in the revenant caves 500k per bot but now they gone im sad
Hey check out a bot farm I found in Shilo Village. They were all level 17 and had over 100m cooling xp and 80 plus smithing using the furnace just below the bank. No idea what they were doing. It was a low pop us East style ping worlds.
Bro I just fucking wrote this and seen you covered it bro!
shouldve checked the f2p wilderness for bots too at item pickup spots

"end of an era", wait until botters start gearing their rev bots with pk gear and pk script on ultra extreme difficulty.
Tha might be prohibitively expensive though, both to buy the more advanced bot software and to equip hundreds of accounts with decent gear.
@@TheLKStar you're telling me that, botters with tens of bils can't afford gear and a botting software? lmao
So I could be wrong but I think the kit bots are made by a fan of kitboga. He is a scam baiter (phone calls not osrs) but he makes a ton of osrs references when messing with scammers.
Saw some kit bots yesterday bro has a big operation
10HP 85 mage splashed mage pure accounts are 44cb.
The low level imp bot farm would be able to be TB'd and killed for quite some time with an account like that.
If you were dedicated enough to do so you could even make an ironman with that stat specification that had very low risk that is easily replaceable, enable loot keys on it, and once you've killed 5 bots, offload the keys onto a main. You wouldn't get out of combat range for that bot farm on it since PvP xp is nullified for Ironman accounts.
2 of the bots you saw at the varrock mine also had kit in their name, must be from the farm earlier in the video lol
So weird watching this tonight seeing lvl 3s in the revenant caves while I play
I found bots cutting oak with kit in there name. A few of them where mining also. I found a high level following one of the oak bots. Think it might have been the owner. When I sat around for a min watching the bot ran off and so did the player.
Surely this won't impact normal players in the wilderness.....
pkers are normal players too. sure it will make it harder for some to escape but you're in the wilderness in an extremely rewarding cave so the risk should also be extremely high. acceptable trade imo
There’s a bot farm that safe spots rev dragons and can log immediately
how tho
@@ThePCguy17 They're not being attacked so they have no logout timer.
Jagex made it harder for legit players to get away from pkers because of cheat clients that allow people to tele out faster..... but those same cheat clients also allow for player to instantly teleblock the same people that now have to wait longer to tele. Big brain update by Jagex.
Seed Pod exception or riot
@kitboga is that yours? 6:50
skip to 2:15 avoid bullshit harassment of ads im sure everyone has said they dont want contact from in any form
Had to drop a like. Been a fan for a while dude keep ‘em coming :D
did you notice one of the characters at the mining spot in varrock by champs guild had kit in their name lolol
Don't touch my bot farm. im warning you Sirpugger.
Those "kit" bots are not banned. You can find 100-200 of them at anytime of the day on w333 in Lumby spinning wheels.
Do you plan to make PvP videos any more?
this is why you play ironman and get the rest of the RS experience you can before it inevitably is shut down. RS is the perfect environment to learn how to program interactive programs in.
You are the man! Insane to see so many bots these days
PUGGER! you can break the bracelets into rev ess, for a chunky profit, and freeing up half your invy while at it..
Those smithing bots at the end of the video got like over 100 smithing lvl
I made 50m in 8 hours killing skulled msb bots with claws + collosal blade they don’t pray melee on the blade.
Guess i never get to go to the rev caves now as a non sweaty player
It was always swarmed with pkers tbh. Its such a dangerous cave.
I love how u didn't end the video it just kinda finished like half way threw you talking
when the dax webwalker crashes
Tribot gang
RuneScape only has like 500 real players it's just bot vs bot now
So the bots are stuck at draynor manor are bots that quest the f2p quest so they can then sell the account as 10 quest trading threshold is done. I was told about this through a bot hunter I know
Hey my account was hacked and used for bot i think and was used in osrs.. i play rs3 is possible to get back??..
I get ban
So I really suck at RuneScape but I was trying to bury bones at the choas alter. I did it with no problems then felt ballsy took 1m worth of bones in as soon as I teleport in someone logs in, so I hop worlds, every world I hop to this person instantly appears logging in. This even happened on f2p. So I tried to get out of the wildy and was like nah I’ll try later. I was not even moving and when I tried to log out it said unable to log out in combat, then like guy logs in about 10 seconds after I get that message and kills me
nice vid yo just watched the whole thing at normal speed from start to finish it was great!
i have found lots of bots at edgeville yews they appear near at night time and are gone at morning
any bot will accept commands commonly passed in private messages so if you really wanna screw with them keep a list of what commands you try and keep trying them or write a script to execute a dictionary attack with a bot that just messages them random words
Private: Friends only
sand crabs near the bank has alot of bots
Yeah it's wild right now, to be honest the only way to get Jagex to notice is if a popular RUclipsr was to get like 1000 people to flood a f2p server and roast the bots and the dev team on live stream for ignoring the problem. Someone should set up a "Mark the day" scenario and all go back to F2P for a day.
Kit is a noob bot, designed to emulate a noob wondering how to open the door.
Just kidding, but it might not actually be broken, it could be attempting to abuse something to age the account enough to be able to trade freely.
Kit bots aren't new. There used to be a huge population of Kit bots years ago chopping and mining.
Why multiboxing on mobiles when you can do it through VMs or several OS clients?
if i had to guess, i'd say multiple accounts with the same mouse movements would get flagged really quickly. mobile has no mouse.
9:12 cutting bots also have kit in name
How do you know if there not just a new skiller with chat turned off?
The bots are back btw the tick perfect run from you when they see a pker check hobgoblins any world
