Also lvl 80-90 bots at Calverion. They're super handy because if you wait for them to finish a kill and hit him first they instantly Tele. They basically reserve a world for you.

They need to hire you as a Jmod volunteer to just temp ban accounts for 1hr when you're 100% certain they're a bot. Then any account you temp ban for 1hr gets their name on a list and is then scanned deeply by the system and if not banned, gets a manual check out by a full time staff member when they return to work.

It wouldn't be the first time a highly active RS content creator worked in some capacity for Jagex. James, Simon and Kieran(or h/e you spell his name) were RuneShark & a friend of theirs who ended up all working there on the OSRS team around the 2015 mark.
I installed the bot detector plugin, and its ruined the illusion I had, that OSRS is a thriving MMO with tons of players.
It's more rare that I run into real people on my UIM.
Oh and thanks to sir SirPugger, now I know why people keep logging out or teleporting when I get near them.

The sad thing is bots pay for membership so without bots the game will die. I play on entity hider because I trust no one 😂

The new wildy bosses are filled with bots. We get a wildy update after so many years, but its sometimes impossible to find an empty world to pvm on because of all the bots, pretty rediculous. Jagex is going to have to do something about it like they did for the Revenants.

Honestly I feel like there should be a 175 quest point and 1500 total level requirement for bosses. It's too easy for bots to ruin the game otherwise.

This same bug lure got me at shantay pass bank for 143m. I took out bank to anti scam for gilded and one click tele scam item. And was standing on bank chest tile which is safe zone and got spec’d out. Names of lurers were GrilledFilet and iSee
I learned my lesson and is now the reason why I’ll never antiscam or even interact with a majority of people in osrs now.

You should do a video on the massive Artio bot farm. All of them are level 70s and they are on every single world. And if you find an empty one you’re usually ragged off by the bot farmer almost instantly.
World 370 edgeville bank, there’s a bunch of runecrafting bots wearing raiment robes and usually adamant plate shields there’s like a thousand of them
i remember getting lured back when dungeoneering first came out. probably the best lure iv ever seen. they abused a bug to see in my inventory wherever i was at to make me beleive my items were being duped and got me to drop a rare when they thought i was just dropping a junk item, did it in white portal clanwars too. used these boots and a horn to freeze me in place then dragonspeared me off my droped item. they were called ku klux lures and they posted it up on youtube
I was lured exactly this way too, must have been 2012-13ish. I remember after I died and lost about 20m worth of gear which was quite a bit back then, they messaged me stuff like "you gonna cry now?" And "thanks for the loot fuck face" etc which really sucked tbh. I guess I learned a hard lesson and realised not all the community is as good as it seems.

Tbh as soon as I saw the title I wasn't surprised. I was 3 iteming Calver'ion 3rd day of release. I realized I was getting 3+ kills a trip with just black dhide top, bottom, and D mace. No boots, gloves, ammy, the point is to dissuade pkers. It works.
Also bots in priff who power mine iron ore in the corner away from the entrance and insta hop whenever they see you within 2 seconds, many high lvl accounts and even some with maxed stats like slayer or end game pvm pets
The way I see it, if a player uses correct grammar and or full words. It's ChatGPT. Most players are like, "hru", "wat", or they'll just cuss you out.
I have to put it here because the issue is out of control at this point. There are at LEAST 3 bots on every world in Prif thieving away on elves. They seem to be hacked accounts and nearly all of them are over 30m thieving xp.
They are finding some seriously twisted ways of luring, There is one that got me in a PvP world, I had 10mil of gear on + a 10mil cash stack while standing in lumbridge castle bank, someone continued to throw a trade request while saying trade, after the 20th request I tapped trade, the second I tap the trade notification he runs right out the door and around the corner while equipping tanky looking gear
my dude follows him right out the door and the second that happens another account logs in insta tele-blocking me right as i stopped from skulling on the trader, I literally got tele-blocked, snared and 3 shot all within 6 seconds, keeping 5 mil items and losing 15mil total, im legit only 2 months into the game, never played Runescape specifically but these videos have helped me clue on to the toxic activity
I found one of the xx Gnome xix bots at barrows w491. Wearing part bloodbark/rune. Not sure if it's used as a leveling+money method or if the guy just has multiples doing random activities. Love your vids! Some of the most interesting content to watch!

Man if there was no bots shit would be crazy, con and herb would cost alot more to lvl, so many standard prices we rely on are because bots i cant imagine how much more profit could be made and also lost from a bot nuke.
You can recharge a glory at (5) on the obelisk. You don't need to fully drain the glories.
Glory (5) is not tradeable on the ge but (4) is so I guess the bots are doing two teleports per amulet
@@croyscape The point of doing 5s is that you'd only ever need to buy 1 inventory of glories (unless you're pk'd) to get an eternal glory. Just teleport once each to get them all re-chargeable at the obelisk for 28 more chance at an eternal.

You can still make a profit charging trimmed glories (since the trim is lost if it becomes an eternal), but it's not the best because of the low buy limit and risking way more in the wildy
If there was a trimmed version of eternal it would be so expensive though lmao
found a lot of vorkath bots while superglass making in lunar bank, some have over 40k kc
Not sure if you think if its worth looking at it, but if you check the hiscores for certain hardcore ironman they will have an insane amount of total XP.
Calculating that is only got released in 2016, it would require an average of like 60k an hour if played 24/hour a day to reach said xp..
But look at where they've actually got 200m xp in skills and where they don't:
- Wintertodt is 200m FM xp at 250k+ xp/hour with no supplies needed, probably 99 wc and some fletching xp passively, agility xp between games, and a ridiculous amount of supplies for skilling
- Hunter is quick to train with no supplies needed, and gives plenty of chins for range training
- 200m ranged xp is just using the chins from 200m hunter xp, in all likelihood
- Hitpoints is passive while doing other combat skills
- Thieving Ardy knights after 95 Thieving is close to 250k xp/hour (and much of their 200m xp may have pre-dated coin pouches)
- Just doing tree runs is a ridiculous amount of xp/hour for the time actually spent farming
- Cooking raw, high-level food collected over time is going to be 250-300k xp/hour; alternatively fishing enough Karambwans to 1-tick cook 200m cooking xp would also get fishing xp and may be more time-efficient overall (given how slow Fishing is anyway)
- Magic is most likely bursting/barraging slayer tasks in the Catacombs of Kourend (they have 1037 Skotizo KC)
The skills without 200m xp yet are either slower (e.g. Agility. Slayer, Mining) or time-consuming to get bulk supplies for any particularly quick training method (e.g. Construction, Prayer, Herblore). I feel like they're legit and just playing 10+ hours/day most days tbh.
For the glory bots, they only need to get glory down to (4) charges since they can sell them on ge and players can charge a glory(4) on the obelisk for glory(6) and eternal glory.
Or maybe sell the 5s in bulk on the black market? 😅
Honestly jagex should just add an uncharge option on glories (but disabled when you can't use the teleport to prevent spamming the rune altar)

Did you go down into the corsair cave? There is a ton of bots training every f2p world. Like an upgraded bot of the seagull killers.
I noticed bots at the scarab mages when I went to do a diary
the seagull killers are a f2p starter pure farm, they sell a lot and really cheap. f2p pvp has a niche little community and everyone there has like 20 accounts, so very basic low-mid level pures are made en masse and sold on websites for cheap, they just buy them instead of spending hours making them. Not really any harm in it imo, they arent farming money and it stays in f2p containment, though idk if they still do this as this is from 8 months ago
Also, there's bots at Enclave that you're not able to right click. I'm assuming someone must have edited RuneLite so you can't right click to examine/look up/view equipment of these bots. Mostly the report option.

You cannot just "edit Runelite". The RL developers needs to approve the commits and they can see what the commits do. If that is actually happening you should inform the RL admins. Either there are malicious admins or they are mistakenly missing smth.

I just encountered the funniest thing this guy showed up where the Earth Warriors are in the dungeon Wilderness Area dressed exactly like them to trick people into clicking and attacking him and I almost did and then I was like does this actually work and he said yes esp with d claws it seems like a good way to trick new players and stuff
I use to type question marks when I'm clearing being annoyed by random dudes when I'm just trying to fish. I'm so not doing that any more since bots can do that to lol I never realised how many there were!

doubt it, usually these things are people having you install a 3rd party program so they can have you execute a keylogger program or something on your computer. I/E "I'll send you something on discord"
Naa. The plugins in the plugin hub are reviewed and approved to not be malicious by the RL devs.
they have been doing that teleblock thing for a while now at the enclave. Only the guy would drop items that are worth like 1m and if anyone clicked on him standing on the pile they would skull.
There are bots in almost every world around around level 75 at rev knights. I tried killing them on my pure account and they also have auto prayers so it's not easy to kill

80-90 cb's in lvl 24 wildy a gaint botfarm of green drag hunters, saw more than a few with 90+ strength. Tried killing them, but they run on the tic and insta tellie, so maybe you are more lucky than I am :P

You're right about lurers. They don't lure dumb noobs for their dragon chainbody, they're after the billionaires, they want t-bows, ancestral, scythes, torva.
Their whole entire lure banks first and foremost off of your curiosity, they want you to think that you're too smart to get lured, they want you to think that you know what's safe and what isn't, and then either by using an exploit, an animation stall, a glitch, or simply by tricking you in a way you weren't expecting, you die. Don't trade lurers, don't hop to their worlds, don't drink their zamorak brews, they really are not that entertaining.
That's why I don't grab any items when I'm skulled lol

attacking a player who just entered the safe zone through the barrier is 100% a bug. The just entered wildy, and is still in the safe zone, they should not be able to get attacked.
Whether its an unintentional mechanic, or a bug, is honestly irrelevant. Prayer flicking is a bug. Who cares what the definition is. Its abusive and manipulative and apparntely gets them 8-10b a day or whatever it is

Wow, this is an incredibly insightful video from Sir Pugger about the use of bots in Old School Runescape. It's impressive to see how the game's developers are constantly working to improve their detection methods, but it's also disheartening to see how prevalent botting still is in the game. The bots only have to change them to glory (5) and then they can be recharged again. If they have a method of botting glorys to be charged at the fountain aswell with the chance of the eternal glory. This is more genius then you made on.
Wouldn't be surprised if they have the entire sequence botted all the way to charging them at the wildy fountain.
