Thanks for the video mate big help to me, however i have changed my EGR Cooler now i have lost a lot of power when accelerating any ideas on how i can sort this
Mine was weeping coolant so changed it however it’s still weeping. Any idea if there’s something I could have missed or something close by to it that could be weeping? Thought it may have been the vac pump at first but it’s definitely coolant
I have Opel Astra j sports tourer 2.0 Diesel car, I have same coolant leakage issue. Can you tell me what is the exact name of this this part which you replaced in your video? In my car same part has water leakage . thanks
Frustrating job that I would not recommended. At least one of the five Torx 30 screws will round off and then you're stuck. Very hard to see or reach anything.
Hello, for my Opel Meriva B 1.4 Turbo petrol, engine getting over heated because of the thermostat which is not getting open at 103c. I have replaced the thermostat with new one, but still again the same. Do you have any idea? Thanks
Very good idea was put this shitty plastic near to the hot exhaust😂😂😂I think When they building this engine was drunk everybody..if not this fault next the oil seal.with engine code start A.👏👏

These 1.4 engines are notorious for head gasket issues ,get a head gasket test done on it
At least you have some nice music in the background to listen too... 😂
Thanks mines either leaking from here or a crack in the coolant tank itself, I've not figured out which yet
Good luck!
Which one was it?
Plastic near a hot exhaust is surely bad design🤷♂️😳🤣🤣
No such thing as a simple job on modern cars 😅 even a headlight bulb swop can turn into a nightmare

The use of cheap crap plastic makes all cars unrealible nowday. In this case an other good diesel engine by fiat
The plastic turbo connector pipe on my insignia blew, why use such crap parts?
@@flexrificationsame happened to me.
Yes agreed. Turbo pipe plastic connector broke on mine too. Whole new pipe £160 required when just the connector ring broken.
That engine is dirtyyyyy
The bolt in the centre is a bit of a pig lol
Another top job 👊👊
