that windmill was awesome. If you liked the kringle , Trader Joe's and Aldi usually has some starting at Thanksgiving. Different brand , i think, but very tasty. Thanks for taking us along.

You are correct it was the Exxon Valdez that ran aground. It was delivered to Exxon in 1986, the largest vessel ever built on the west coast of the US. After running aground it caused the largest oil spill in the US waters. Divers discovered a 10-mile oil slick from the damaged hull. Just a little history lol awesome video.

I remember this spill when I was 12yrs old. Nothing else on tv but the spill. Great little history lesson.

I'm in San Diego, and our shipyard is NASSCO--National Steel Ship Company, where the Valdez was built, then brought back for repair then. Knowing many NASSCO workers, and me being a ham/shortwave radio hobbyist, I was given some of the radio equipment surplus off the Valdez for free! Pieces of history. One of the P.A. systems I modified and turned into part of my electric guitar amp rigs, but kept everything else original for respect to the history. Yes, that was a hell of a disaster. On the present "flipside," some other fellow guitarists ask about my setup. They're like, "What the hell??" when I tell them this very story.

That little park is awesome too. That's where I go to camp when I want to get away from everyone. Thank you for the videos !!!

I love your Chevrolet truck and Van. I haven't gotten used to the Ford yet.....you Van was built 60 miles from my home in Ocala. So it's my favorite. That Van conversion company used to be huge. It would take like 5 minutes to pass the whole complex while driving past it at 70 mph. Now, it's gone. You have a classic. My buddy had one with the 4.3 V6. He swapped it to a LS2 V8. It's badass.

There's a Danish town in CA called Solvang, I visit a few times per year. It's very cool and has a giant windmill in the center of town too. The area is also known for fantastic wineries and great food. If you are ever in CA check it out. Oh, and yes, it was the Exxon Valdez oil tanker ship that ran aground in Alaska in 1989, spilling over 11 million gallons of oil in an ecologically sensitive location resulting in one of the largest environmental disasters in U.S. history.

Love this little bit of history. Fun video. The oil tanker you are thinking of was the Exxon Valdez and it ran aground in Prince William Sound in Alaska. It spilled 11 million gallons of oil and devestated the Alaska coast for years. Thankfully, the coast is now as beautiful as ever!

So when my wife wants to camp. We can. But, I travel to many short track racing. Dirt and asphalt. This will give me somewhere to sleep when I go alone. I'll get it put together between now and June for a trip to the Blue Ridge parkway. Thanks for all the tips. Happy camping.

I just didn’t like the sliding door. But it had an engine that I could work on. It still had a shag carpet. It was orange and yellow carpet. Still in great condition. Hopefully this year I will find another van to get out there. Great channel!. Love watching!.

That village was super cool! I'm surprised you don't keep a wire brush in your gear to clean campsite grills. Might ought to get one. 🤔
