I havent had the opportunity to test the Viltrox lens so i cant say which is better.

Can't see why not! They are really well performing and light. Just remember you would need to shoot in a crop mode or crop in post.

yeah they would be good for video but none of these lenses have stabilization.

yes, you are right. These lenses will work on any z mount camera actually, but they are made for APS-C sized sensors
