this is a great tutorial. could you please do a video and start teaching it from the very scratch? like to someone who opens the software for the first time!
well I do respect those ho can handle the beast...this program seems to have the need of a interface that makes it less brain intensive... as a example of how it could be... I want to mention solid modeling software... at the end alias interface seems to be almost the same as it was 16 years ago... or am I wrong??
IVe been using Alias since 1993 and it has changed very much. There are a lot of tools I don't use for my workflow, but you can set up the niter face easily to precisely show only the tools that you do use. For these videos I keep the base layout since everyone can find the tools I'm using.
It used to be called Autostudio, but they changed the name to Automotive. It has had a lot of name changes through the years, so it's hard to keep up with at times.
+dutchy4c Thank you, sir. I suspected that they both are two names of the same program, since their interface almost the same. Your tutors are good, thanks for them too.

+Nima B I am planning to do just that. It may take a few weeks though, since I want to make it a whole project from start to finish.
that would be awesome. Thank you in advance

Hi! What's the difference between Alias Autostudio and Alias Automotive?

Thank you. Much appreciated.
what's the best way to learn Alias?
+rezki lakhzoum There are some tutorials online, i.e. here. Just search for Autodesk Alias. I will make a more extensive series of videos.
+dutchy4c Thanks dude, i'm waiting for it
