It was great to watch the Workflow of creating the auxiliary Drafts and Free Form Blend surfaces. But wouldn't be easier to just use the existing top surface without creating the 'auxiliaries'. Having the top surface as well as the Curve On Surface on the side surface would suffice. Then using the Symmetric Fillet Control would generate same results?
Hi thanks for the video. It was really informative for a beginner like me. Can you share the link of the website that you were talking about in the video.
Thanks for the upload. I am kinda self studying Alias from the Foundations site but this video really covered the depths of class A modelling which was very helpful. Barry Kimball thanks for sharing your experience (Great Teaching ) cheers!!
I am a novice and am trying to learn Alias to get try and get a job in this field in the future. I have used regular AutoCAD & Solidworks in the past for creation of simple parts but not with regards to surface geometry. Does anyone know of any in-house training for a Certified Autodesk course in Alias, or any tips/courses on how to learn and grow confident in this software?
why is converting an alias .wire to .catpart is so killer if possible!I have a hard time to do this and I haven't made it yet.why??????????????????Any idea?
21:15 That was just beautiful. Nice work!

Respect! perfect explenation, no mistake.
So class A surfaces don't necessarily have to have G3 continuity?

Do designers know all about this theoretical lines? You can't control clay or other modelling material perfectly by hand, even with milled lines.
I want to know about 2020 soft
Thanks for this!
how o I sign up for the class
очень круто, заодно подучу английский ;)
yeah right !
5:05
maximum gap distance 0.001
LOL !
Not sure what you mean...? The min gap between surfaces will be less than .001 MM...
Oh shit there's no Glory for Class A modeller... Also How much does one get paid?
what if i want to design and do class A surfacing both😅
I suppose I should have gone into surface modeling since everything you were talking about it pretty obvious to me on how you would build the model.
session feedback: class A lecture :)
this help me
Damn.. I can do this really fast and as you said i am a "men". 😉
