- My friends were having a small wedding ceremony so thought it was a perfect excuse to make a wedding cake that's smaller in size but still just as gorgeous!
I've also tried out a new technique using rice paper which adds a very elegant touch and they're so easy to make!
I've written the quantities of the cake below and you can find all my other recipes on my channel.

6 and 4 inch cake:
560g melted butter
560g sugar
9 eggs
560g self raising flour (or plain flour with 3 tsp baking powder)
In each 6 inch tin weigh 700g batter
In each 4 inch tin weigh 350g batter

Thank you. You are not only an excellent cake decorator (and Baker by the looks of it) but also a fantastic instructor. Not everyone who posesses a particular skill can also teach it, but you broke down the steps clearly and concisely. I read that the the hallmark of effective instruction, is precisely that provides motivation. Your pupils aren't intimidated but instead feel they could do it and look forward to doing it. I now am willing to try doing a similar cake decorating myself. So thank you.

I have a £3 PME cake wire and it's the best thing in my toolkit! It's sturdy and doesn't pull my cake apart. Wouldn't be without it! Don't always need expensive tools :)

Love the look with the rice paper - thanks for sharing! Curious if the decorated cake can then go back into the fridge to stayed chilled before delivery or if the rice paper will soften due to the moisture in the fridge? Thanks!
Hi, the rice paper will stay pretty hard/in shape even in the fridge!
I love watching your videos . Please do a tutorial on condensation . I live in a tropical county so I face this problem alot . Once I did a drip cake and when it was inside the fridge it self there were big water droplets and it was dripping off the cake smudging the chocolate everywhere and the cake had brown strains . Please help . Thank you 💖.
I add absorbent paper towels to the bottom of the cake container and the sides, taking care that they don't touch the cake sides. And the lid is important. I also place a couple silica packets in between the towels. The towels will help absorb a lot of the moisture and prevent dripping. However this means you need even more fridge space
Does putting cake into the fridge freezer whilst decorating dry the sponge?

Hi Georgia! This cake is beautiful!! I'm trying to figure out dimensions for my 2 tier wedding cake! I believe you said this cake is 4 inch wide on top tier and 6 inch wide on bottom tier! How tall is each tier? Thanks for your help!

How do you keep the cake from sweating once you bring it out of the freezer or refrigerator.
Hi, i got a problem with my buttercream. I dont know why it’s getting a little bit minty .. I put white gel color afterwards i am putting colored ones.. May I know what happened why it tastes minty? is it because of the color mixing?
