    I appreciate the explanation on why the ballast resistor was installed by Jeep. I knew bypassing them is common, mine is bypassed. I agree, don't care about a little extra pump noise for the benefit of reliability.

      @@KyleSVT you’re more than welcome, have you ever thought of doing a drive along? I’m in Ireland and barely get to drive my TJ without the top year round. Very jealous of the non-rainy weather.

    I plugged in a fuse to test mine.
    When the fuel level gets down around 1/4 the pump is loud.
    My carpet is not in the best shape though.
