This is biffy. Theyre more polished now but the early shows were incredible in tiny venues around the uk. Like a best kept secret. This was the cross over period before full mainstream so still had that raw edge. One of the best gigs i ever saw was them at hull uni in 2004 on the infinity land tour. Just the early stuff. It was different noone else sounded quite like them.
0:00 - 57 3:45 - Who's got a match 6:08 - Saturday superhouse 9:19 - Living is a problem because everything dies 14:20 - Now I'm everyone 18:19 - Glitter and trauma
It is sad to see Simon so frustrated during the first two songs, when his guitar was not working properly...The rest is history. Good sound quality! Thanks for the upload.
Shit, I'd be angry too if i couldn't play because of technical problems... Anyways, he handled it incredibly well... Some artists genuinely wouldn't play until it started working.
Shows how much they’ve improved. Previously better on record, whereas now they mind blowing live. Do love the raw energy of this era, just wish they played to a click back then.
What a terrible audience. Glastonbury to a T. Introduce something new, nobody bothers, they’re all there to see a 90 year old Paul McCartney or an average-at-best Ed Sheeran.
you're chatting shite mate. the crowd is literally in a puddle of mud getting pissed on, with another day and a half to go, and the rain never stopped at all apparently and this is everyone that didn't go see mark ronson or some other bullshit instead
best drummer vocalist since Phil Collins in Genesis

A lot of footage from the early days is like that. There was a lot more anger in him back then.

Here I first heard "who's got a match", I thought it was supposed to be like this))
Now I like this version better)
Nice!
Bloody hell, the Puzzle era of Biffy was fucking nuts, this is the fastest I've ever seen them play Living Is A Problem... 😂

That's quite contradictory. If they played to a click they wouldn't have that raw energy you love
Old Biffy= Better Biffy

This is like 16 years ago. Ed Sheeran would’ve been 17 odd
