i dont know many biffy clyro fans. Not sure why, because there is something really unique about them. How they just attack with a wall of sound and intensity, its moving. Not a fan of their more poppy stuff though

don't know much of their newer stuff but I like Mountains, Many of Horror, That Golden Rule, and Bubbles. Those are all from an older album

I agree there's often extra touring musicians with the band, but I've never seen this guy, and I've seen Biffy live a few times
He was definitely there at Leeds/Reading last year, his name is Mike Vennart and he joined them in 2011, he used to be in a band called Oceansize

Remember watching this on i player and thinking the start was incredibly cringe.
I hate when I discover something like this and then go check out the rest of their stuff and I just hear pop ballads... This is a sick song tho.

as a Biffy fan, I don't really recommend the last record, which is their poppiest to date. However, the rest of their discography is (mostly) killer
It's good for a band to have a variety of tunes. Their latest album isn't great, but it makes a change.
You couldn't have looked very hard. Listen to their first 3 albums and even Puzzle (4th) has some bitching, heavy as fuck songs 👍
Simon is a very good guitarist, but his playing could be drastically improved by having a more loose wrist; this would make his playing a lot easier and less tiring.
