I don't think the recording really captures how powerful this sound was to witness. This was INSANE, like beyond ANYTHING else at Reading, and there were some insanely good acts, but Biffy Clyro, number 1, EASILY
seeing this live, having known nothing about biffy clyro, was absolutely fucking insane. waiting in the crowd before they started i had no idea what to expect and it certainly wasn't this- but it blew my god damn mind. definitely a biffy fan now lmao
This is exactly what happened to me during the Isle of Wight festival 2012 never even heard of Biffy Clyro till then been a massive fan ever since MON THE BIFF

We were on the same bill in early 2000s as Biffy. Amazing back then, good to see they’re still getting the love they deserve🙏

Very interested setlist, and kinda brave imo. No captain, no stingin belle, ending with machines, and much shorter than usual. It seems like they're trying new stuff, they've entered their IDGAF phase lol
Not really brave. They didn't play a single song from the first 3 albums.
They only had about 1 hour for their set , and cuz it’s a festivals they gotta play it safe and play most of the singles … most kids there won’t know any songs from the pre-puzzle era unfortunately :)
