+Don Zircon It makes it feel like such a good rivalry though, you can combo tons of hits on him with your dragon boost but if you're not careful you can be caught above him during it and get obliterated. So cool!
Idk if anyone would agree, but this gives me a bit of Strange Parade vibes from Sonic Runner (yes I know sonic runners came out later than freedom planet, I just happened to play this after listening to the sonic runners ost)
Oh boy, I sure love capitalism! Nice song, and like the background, you can really see the chinese influence... too bad irl China isn't as... joyful as this. (CPP don't kill me pls) Also I dunno why but my favorite thing about the stage isn't the music or the level design itself (those are 2nd and 3rd respectively), it's the fact that you can SIT ON A BENCH. There's no reason to do it, in-fact, it is kinda counter-productive on a game that wants you to go fast... but I can't help but everytime I am not speedrunning this level, I gotta sit on the bench. (Also if Torque gets released, keep his bench animation, what a cute and funny animation hue)
"Welcome to the Exotic Aquarium! Any water you may notice on the floor is the result of our diligent house cleaning staff's mopping! And not evidence of a dangerous leak in the- oh heck with it! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!"
Honestly, i'd say the stage it replaced was more unnecessary, Robot Playground which was closer to Carnival Night and sort of is returning as Zao Land in FP2
You don't EVER release a gimmicked platformer without a casino/haunted house/ amusement park level. Where would Yuki Yuki trouble maker be without Clanball Land and Spike Land? Megaman 8 wouldn't vibe the same without clown man either! ^ Levels like those let the player improvise or have fun with the characters gimmick feature.
@@ssjsmith8879 yeeeaaaahhh, let it be known that in these past 4 years, I have changed my mind on this completely haha. Fortune Night is probably my second favorite stage behind Battle Glacier now :,)
YOU CAN SIT, ON BENCHES.
Remind me why this isn't game of the year.
WAIT WUT???
@@marmur2909 Yeah, I accidentally pressed down when I was next to a bench and I sat in the bench. It has no use aside looking cute
And Carol's face when you make her grab on the rod while riding her bike
The struggle is real XD
Oh wow i had no idea! O_O I gotta try that out since i'm currently replaying Freedom Planet XD
Also entering on the bathrooms lmao-
I hate getting caught in Serpentines bullet rain
+Don Zircon It makes it feel like such a good rivalry though, you can combo tons of hits on him with your dragon boost but if you're not careful you can be caught above him during it and get obliterated. So cool!
It's very true even though I'd say that would be the only move you would want to use on Serpentines to get rid of him faster.
Don Zircon Nah, you can land some good hits between all if his attacks with your normal hits and maybe some dive-kicks or rising slashes.
He only wanted to see you hurting in the purple rain.
Serpentine is a joke when you're Mila
Ahh Fortune Street...
I'll forever remember yoy as the first piece of music to make me dance like an idle character
The best stage of the game! Seriously tho, I love this part of the game so much, it rocks my socks
Ben TheDragon It's so happy :)
First time i heard this I had to put down the controller until the ASMR wore off
I don't know what it is, but whenever I hear the chorus, I just have the need to smile. Like, it just makes me happy
Attempt number 27 to make a sandwich.
Results: I can't stop dancing, thus can't make said sandwich. Again.
+Carl Pearson
Some say Carl is still trying to make that sandwich today.
i wonder if he ever got to making that sandwich yet
probably not
hey.
you made that sandwich tho?
Stop standing in front of the disco ball
I'm stuck on this one in my Carol hard mode playthrough. With music like this, though, I don't mind staying a while.
As you enter the city, You feel like you're entwined with the city, the music gripping you like a nice cup of herbal tea.
So much joy playing this stage! ^^
GOOD VIBES ONLY WHEN LISTENING TO THIS
TBH this beats both modern and classic sonic as a soundtrack. It just sounds so... amazing. Reminds me of Twinkle Park but... I like it BETTER.
Idk if anyone would agree, but this gives me a bit of Strange Parade vibes from Sonic Runner (yes I know sonic runners came out later than freedom planet, I just happened to play this after listening to the sonic runners ost)
Whotio Chun nan!
well obviously
Whotio it does tho
Or that one theme in Blazblue Chronophantasma
If there was a chinese casino with this theme, id go there every night :D
+truearea53 Not to gamble, just to listen to the music. :P
@@100organicfreshmemes5 Although given how catchy this music is, it would probably be a trick to make you gamble....

Yeah! ^^
(Speaking of Torque, I looked up his sprites on the wiki, and I love the Mega Man X reference in his "Entering a stage" animation)
the mall is my fav level so far 😂
Is a beautiful song that’s a luck 🍀 number 16
This one sounds kind of like the Amusement Park area from Megaman ZX.
Danger Attraction?
This is so funky.
Good song
Makes me wanna put down the controller and just dance around in my apartment
Wait minute... is this a reference to us version of stardust speedway from sonic cd ? 1:12
Most likely yes
This is as far as I ever got, but I'm gonna change that! Soon!
Looks like Kirby 64 Shiver star's 2nd level
Nice reference.
I once capared this with Bushin Amane Nishiki theme from Blazblue Chronophantasma
Man,this is really good game. Somebody should mod sonic tails and knuckles into freedom planet :P
NO
They're technically in there lol
Lilac is a modified Sonic player object from Sonic Worlds, Carol is a modified Knuckles player object
@@callmeninaiced And that immediately means WE MUST MAKE A CROSSOVER WITH THEM!!It makes me sick
I can't find my key- Hey, you know what this place looks like?
Looks like AQUARIUM PARK!
"Welcome to the Exotic Aquarium! Any water you may notice on the floor is the result of our diligent house cleaning staff's mopping! And not evidence of a dangerous leak in the- oh heck with it! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!"
only ONE dislike!!
The only good soundtrack in this entire game imo.
I still don't understand why fortune night was in the game. It seemed completely unnecessary.
That's like saying Casino Night from Sonic 2 is unnecessary, which I guess it technically is, but people still love it!
Even then, it was one of the best levels in the game. And the OST in it rocks
Honestly, i'd say the stage it replaced was more unnecessary, Robot Playground which was closer to Carnival Night and sort of is returning as Zao Land in FP2
