It's honestly insulting how they kept this as Milla's first stage, but didn't bother giving her a proper backstory and instead just gave us Mr. Stumpy to distract us from the fact Milla's backstory is still non-existent.
I agree. When playing her story I didn't got to know anything about her parents an how they disappeared. Also I was disappointed about the end of millas adventure mode. Since she was corrupted by brevon in lilacs and carols story I would have hoped to see that in millas story aswell. Fighting her evil self (on the inside kinda) as last boss battle while lilac (or carol) fights the mutant milla would have been epic imo
Mephilles13 Yeah, I had a similar idea. I was thinking whatever was on Brevon's Knife would make her hallucinate and see Lilac as a huge mythological-looking dragon or something for that fight. After you supposedly defeat it however, it would use some variation of the Dragon Boost and Milla would be put into her coma. The last stage would be inside her head, a twisted looking version of Final Dreadnought 4 with a different layout. The final boss would be a disturbing amalgamation of Brevon, Milla's beast form and maybe Syntax. It would represent Milla's struggle to break free from the control Brevon had over her.
I do look forward to freedom planet 2 though. Maybe they address some plot holes. Like what happened between spade and the girls... there must be a reason he is pissed
Bartosz Gregorowicz Good point, Milla was supposed to have her backstory in her story mode when it was later added, but they rushed the sequel and didn't bother giving an actual backstory. Instead we got Mr. Stumpy.
+Get Rekt Scrub Assuming FP2 ties up the loose ends, I wouldn't call it a total loss. For me personally, I just like Milla more. It boils down to a matter of opinion, but I just prefer the cuter characters to the edgy ones. Sure, she's frail, but she does pack quite the arsenal regardless, especially if you know how to use her. I'll reserve my judgement for her "character" though until FP2 comes out.
My reminiscing came around the 0:04 mark which is roughly the moment I discovered Milla's puppy float. It reminded me of the flutter jumps from Yoshi's Island, and the clip of music right there felt like it could've been pulled right from the game. And let me tell you, that game was my freaking childhood. Milla is seriously adorable and melts my heart with her compassion, naivety, and just overall cuteness. I just wish there had been more to her story. Immensely looking forward to FP2 because despite her under-development, her play-style was right up my alley and she quickly became my favorite of the 3. I can't wait to see how much she's been improved!
I can tell someone on the music team played the SNES Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, because that melody at the 0:40 mark was pulled right out of the theme from the first level of that game.
I would like to talk about Milla in this comment. You know, I'm simple man, I see an adorable character, I love them, and Milla is no exception. I love her gameplay style with SMB2 attacks and a pretty useful shield. Sometimes it can be a pain to go through a stage with that moveset, but it works. I also love how her Super Shield Burst can be used to speedrun a stage, you know the thing about "easy to learn, hard to master", that's what that technique really is. For her character... I mean, she's adorable and that's enough for me tbh... she has all the other things like [insert sad backstory here] or how through the adventure she becomes a scared dog to a less scared dog, but nothing really that important. I would like to address other things like how lame there was nothing more about her backstory in HER STORY, or how the ending was anticlimatic because of her. But overall I still love her anyway. I kinda gonna miss throwing green blocks on FP2, but overall, her moveset just got better in that game, so pretty nice.
Never played Freedom planet 2...but i will play it once my birthday comes in 20th March. i'll ask my mother to buy this game since my father bought me Freedom planet 1
You try to find your way through the tunnels, seeking a way of escape from the Magister's prison. You see the scenery and get taken aback, but focus on your goal. Finding an exit.
In addition to some kind of throwback to the Sega Mega Drive Sonic the Hedgehog series, it's definitely got a hint of 1993 Sonic CD in it. And that can only be a very good thing indeed!
Probably because of has a bit of a Super Mario World or Yoshi's Island vibe... that and it's Milla. Also, nice judging by your PFP you are a man of culture as well!
Been pulling this theme up a lot when I read novels as of late. (Of the WN and LN variety) I've noticed it sounds a lot like one of the songs from the Kamidori sound track. Maybe not the same rhythem, but similar sounding vibe / instruments or whatever at least.
Not gonna lie, whenever I saw Milla's gameplay style I was always thinking "SUPAH MARYO BRODAS 2 BABE!" "GAME OF THE YEAR AND FOR EVERY YEAR" "*insert dunkey noises here*" But anyway, I loved this stage and it's design fits pretty well with Milla's abilities. Also, the music is awesome! Don't forget that.
dave playz second channel its not old soundtrack If it was the title would be “Flood Escape 2 ost - Decrept Sea (old soundtrack)” or how ever they write it You just gotta understand its used music
I don't really hear, but since Freedom Planet is one big love letter to Mascot Platformers and since it's Mila's (the ranged character) exclusive stage, the resemblance you hear might be intentional.

100% Organic Fresh Memes can we get some modded to put this in right now
At the end of her playthrough, Brevon himelf tells her she shouldn't even be here and could leave unharmed if she wants to...
this track is freaking addictive
Milla plays like a combination of Cream the Rabbit and Silver the Hedgehog. Cream can fly with her ears, while Silver can create shields and blocks.
+Luis Morales Milla can also use her shields for energy blasts though, and dig stuff up in dirt. :P
Milla is better than both IMO.
+Bartosz Gregorowicz maybe stronger, but I still feel Milla is better as an overall character.

One of my favourites. This track is adorable.
50% FE2
50% Freedom Planet
Perfect balance, as all things should be.
Milla has one mission only.
Make us die of cuteness
I really love the concept of SMB2 throwing mechanics in a Sonic-style game
That and the Yoshi's Island jump!
this was my fav song from the game when i first heard it , there's
something so different about it , and it's got such a FINE GROOOVE

So did you play Freedom planet 2?
Aqua Tunnel 1 has to be my favourite OST from Freedom Planet!
I can tell someone on the music team played the SNES Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, because that melody at the 0:40 mark was pulled right out of the theme from the first level of that game.
I thought the same!
Xer042 me too
i knew there was something about this song that reminded of that game's songs!
"What should I do? Is someone staring at me? Um...*blushes*"
XD
Milla: is someone staring at me?
Me:well duh it's me

I SWEAR TO GOD I HEAR THAT STARDUST SPEEDWAY PAST MUSIC FROM SONIC CD!
Me too. There's a hint of it in there.
It reminds me of one of the Tidal Tempest themes.
You try to find your way through the tunnels, seeking a way of escape from the Magister's prison. You see the scenery and get taken aback, but focus on your goal. Finding an exit.
Oh man, the snare drum deserves a lot of credit!
This is good music to exercise to.
This song and aqua tunnel 2 remind me of the way hydrocity zones act 1 and 2 music compliment each other in a similar way to these 2
And Hydrocity alternate made by the same composer Leilani Wilson
Have anyone noticed that Aqua Tunnel themes are before Jade Creek in the game soundtrack? Does that mean it could be Milla's escape stage?
This track is absolutely stellar~
In addition to some kind of throwback to the Sega Mega Drive Sonic the Hedgehog series, it's definitely got a hint of 1993 Sonic CD in it. And that can only be a very good thing indeed!
Glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks 0:40 sounds like MMPR SNES's first level
Here comes the old FE2!
0:40 Reminds me of the city music from Power Rangers on the SNES.
i think it's a nice cutsey song for some reason. awesome song though
Probably because of has a bit of a Super Mario World or Yoshi's Island vibe... that and it's Milla.

I still litseing to this in 2019
It's Wonderfull
Best music of all time
Sonic Adventure Vibes!!!!!!!
Major Sonic CD and Mega Man vibes (again ;-P)...
BANGER
Big cool song
Not gonna lie, whenever I saw Milla's gameplay style I was always thinking "SUPAH MARYO BRODAS 2 BABE!" "GAME OF THE YEAR AND FOR EVERY YEAR" "*insert dunkey noises here*"

No gonna lie. Never thought I'd running into a comment like this here. Anyways:
STILLLLLLL THE KING AFTER ALL THESE YEARS!
my favourite song in the OST
Flood Escape 2 - Decrepit Seas
Mikos Drafle Freedom Planet - Aqua Tunnel 1
Thats why real FE2 music was better for its own map theme
Decrepit seas 2017 confirmed
Carol pulled a Carol again and went Ring Racing here...
I WAS WAITING TO SEE THIS EXACT COMMENT.
Also, yes, Aqua Tunnel is a great stage, both in FP1 and DRRR.
SOMETHING had to be consistent.
Sonic 3 second level approves
I doubt most people know what this is, BUT THIS GIVES ME HUGE VIBES OF SUNKEN SAUCER FROM SONIC TIME TWISTED
YOOOO IT'S TRUEE
FIRST OR SECOND ACT?
Decrepit seas 2017
DIS MY FAV OST
For a tiny kawaii puppy girl, Mila is pretty op what with the blocks and lasers
Flood escape 2 song
This song would fit in a aquarium
Lava reef zone sounds very similar
Despite seas old ost confirmed
dave playz second channel its not old soundtrack
If it was the title would be “Flood Escape 2 ost - Decrept Sea (old soundtrack)” or how ever they write it
You just gotta understand its used music
No one flushes puppy down into the sewer.
And lives.
Fe2 vibes
Why is Milla in the aqua tunnel again?
This sound track is from fe2 too in roblox... lol
No its not it was blatantly ripped from this game and he was having copyright issues with Galaxy Tail because of it. it was deserved
Least chronically online Roblox user
Jesus Christ 0:20 - 0:30 is so addictive
this sounds like a rip off some megaman song.
I don't really hear, but since Freedom Planet is one big love letter to Mascot Platformers and since it's Mila's (the ranged character) exclusive stage, the resemblance you hear might be intentional.
Yea i agree. i havent figured out which boss it sounds like but its driving me insane.
actually listen to the Area 1 track from the SNES game of the Power Rangers and you'll find a better similitude
+ToToo088 I was thinking the exact same thing!
+TACO Probably Buster Rod. G
