Not quite, the 4 litre is good but it ain't got nothing on the old 6.2 both when noice and throttle response is considered. (I've driven both setups

the cinematography, I literally cannot believe, it's like watching a movie, a tv show or a car commercial. It is so beautiful, the drone shots, the close ups everything, just done perfectly! It was a real pleasure watching this James, I cannot wait for another one with hopefully some better weather 😂

Great review, great car. I want one. My old Vantage was pretty tail happy. Remember when Mrs C was following me in the snow in my Vantage and she was constantly sideways. All I could see was the side of my own car in the mirror. My 50 year old E type less tail happy infront. Fun times.

What a great intro, the two sounds I love the most, loud distorted guitar, and the sound of a big rumbling V8 mixed to perfection on the sound dial. My dream car, and a true manual, who could ask for anything more, well two.
This road and the wet surface and the luscious green it’s all so beautiful. The car and the transmission is beautiful. The human is incredible as he brings to us content we love. Life is cool. Enjoy it as best you can… however you have to.

I love rowing the Hurst-shifted gears in my 2008 Mustang whilst driving through the mountains on a windy road. The engagement, V8 sound, experience - so different, raw, analog and exhilarating! It is crazy that some beautiful cars come from places where the weather is fkng horrible most of the time. Move to San Diego and build your factory here so you can actually drive them on our mountain roads all year long.

Perhaps the lack of grip you experienced might be down to the road surface, rather than the car. It looks incredibly smooth. Great video as always

Very happy to see Aston putting the fun transmission into this car. Now it just needs a naturally aspirated engine so it can sound great too.
Everyone is saying how bad the grip is in this car which is interesting. I can only assume the transmission and the electronics in the auto car are doing a lot of work in the background to ensure better stability. Respect to AM for doing this, it takes a lot of work especially when the engine / ECU’s were never designed with this in mind.
I think you should buy the same exact car and make more videos with it. its a car guy heaven

Its highly recommended to omit 1st gear and to use this gearbox layout as if was typical. It has enough power to always launch from 2nd

I think the performance issues you mentioned would be fixed if they made it a 4 wheel drive and manual. Then the torque might be more controlled.
