One of your best reviews yet.. Incredible work there my friend.. Much respect.. You're definitely one of the best car youtuber at the moment.. It's all about cars and driving experience, which some of the others youtubers are starting to forget and feels like they are just bragging about their rich life.. With you that just does not happens.. Congrats and please keep up the good work..
Mr JWW is the only car channel left on my RUclips subscription list. Your perfectly described driving experiences can't help but put a smile on your face and make your heart beat faster as you take followers along for a ride. It's quite astounding, an art form actually, how you are able to impart that kind of emotion in the viewers of your videos
Why has Jame’s channel so few subscribers? Production quality is on an another level, he is a genuine chap and a real car enthusiast. Is there a marketing way to spread this channel as the work he and his wife put into this channel deserves more recognition?
Huge fan of this video James. That cinematography was phenomenal. I didn't realize that you could get it any better but yet again here you are with some astounding angles. Honestly James you are getting better and better sir. Props to ya, keep up the good work James, you are the most deserving a driving tele series. Major fan since the old days, keep it up James.
I'm very happy about seeing companies as Aston Martin developing in such a mature and consistent way. Great modern pieces of machinery, loaded with technology and yet one hundred percent preserving the visual DNA which it's been done so gracefully. Well done, guys! Cheers, James!
Absolutely fantastic review. I do have to say that I would go for the DBS over the 812 Superfast any day . It is drop dead gorgeous. Yes the gearbox isn’t like the 812 but that is not what this car is about. It’s the perfect match for power and comfort. I can imagine the 812 is very unforgiving if you are not careful. Especially with all that power. I mean. Come on. Most of the car reviewers like Clarkson and Harris said the Ferrari has too much power. I think the DBS sits right in the sweet spot between the 812 Superfast and the continental GT. it’s not on the knife edge in responsiveness like the 812 but it is also not as stately as the Continental. Well done Aston for hitting the sweet spot. I will have mine in Matt Grey with yellow accents and dark genres wheels. Excellent video as always. Looking forward to seeing what you have next on you’re channel
For me this is the best looking Aston's ever made.Love the way it's sounds and as mentioned the DCT is what something that Aston Martin is not working on over a long period of time.Anyway great video James.
This infuriates me as well. In this kind of cars, those rear seats are utterly unusable. They should fit there some custom made luggage , which you can strap in that space.
That thing looks epic. That review was exquisite. Those wheels are incredibly sexy. How on earth do designers come up with these designs and where does the inspiration come from?! Amazing.
School Holidays, another JWW video and an Aston Martin. Love the look of this car. Would love you to add an Aston to your car collect. Great video yet again.
Love the car and review, I was actually yesterday at my local Aston dealer asking about it, once they have it in the showroom I’ll go back for a test drive.....super interested!
James, have you ever considered to write a letter to the BBC to be the new "Jeremy Clarkson" on Topgear? I really love your car reviews on this channel. You use your own words, but it has some of Clarkson's dna in it that I liked so much in the early days of Topgear. The new DBS is a lovely GT car but as you say it will never compete with the 812 superfast in terms of performance and gearshifting. But the in- and exterior are beautifull!
I think you should just cancel the 812 and order this. You already have a Ferrari V12 and you need a Aston in your garage. And NO its not the most powerful road going Aston ever made. That is the One-77. I want one of these, can´t afford one at the moment, but maybe used in a few years. Great video though.
Denis Spratt If it was a double clutch he maybe would do so, I say maybe because I think that he is building himself a slot for 812 TDF (or whatever it will be called) by buying the 812 Superfast and already having F12 TDF, F12 Berlinetta and two 458 Speciales
Stefan Grubesic Maybe he is. But it is getting a bit boring with all the Ferraris, Porches and McLaren. It almost seem like that is the only cars he want to own.
Why would he purchase a car for this money if its worse than Mercedes S63 Copue, Bentley Conti GT and even Lexus LC500? :D Guys wake up! Aston Martin is existing in our minds only because we were young when Top Gear reviewed DB9. And because of 007 movies. Thats it. Aston is the most irrelevant company in the business now. They cant do anything, they are 10 years behind the others.
Excellent and entertaining video James. Gayden's pride and pleasure even for many years to come. I'd definitely put my money on the DBS in exchange for your allocated build slot on the 812.
Autocar 2/10 Mr JWW 10/10 these are the scores I award for the two videos I've seen of this mega car. Great work James and team, you guys are pinnacle, there are just a couple of others who live at the same altitude. Keep it up and thanks for sharing what you do.
Game changer for AM in the world of competitors breaking the 3 second 0-60 barrier, however I wish they’d made the front lights look nicer. The rest of the at is absolutely stunning tho!
Personally I’m not a fan of the DB11 so thank god they’ve gone and made a new DBS. Interior stitching and design on the seats are probably my favourite along with the carbon vents by each side of the front wheels Loving the camera work mate👌
Beautiful car and scenery! Love the background on the still shots! I am just not liking that geometric stitching on the seats and console. Definitely want to see more content on the car!
are they making these in a limited number? great insight as usual.. i was gonna watch a different channel after i watched this. but i feel satisfied with the info you shared. so im going to bed now. keep up the good work and thanks for bringing us along on your journey.
This is truely a beautiful looking car. The double clutch issue might not bother me so much. However, I am a little surprised that the interior isn't more different than the DB11.
Great review. I am considering replacing my DB9 with a DBS or a Continental. The 9 has lots of road noise which is wearing on cross -continental drives. I think the new Bentley is a better Grand Tourer than the DB9 - any thoughts about the DBS for this in your next review.
You are too good at reviewing cars! anything that i wanted to know about the driving experience before today I now know. If it had a twin clutch, would you buy one?
Best review of this Aston so far, because, amongst many other things, there's plenty of opportunity to hear the music it makes! Now, boring (?) question - crossing continents have often do you have to stop to refuel?
You can just tell James isn't anywhere CLOSE to as excited to be in this car compared to a 812SF. And that is what these cars are all about, right? Driver engagement and the excitement the car can bring? Bummer, I'm a big aston fan.
Silly question James, how much of what we hear in the interior while you are driving is coming out of the speakers? The fly-by's you show are all pretty tame compared to what we are hearing inside.
Enjoyed your review thank you. The DBS has put Aston back in the major league for something big and special running a V12. (I love the Vanquish but Ferrari eats it). Now James, I have just finished watching another review you did on the Conti GT at Spa. Both cars newly released and billed as super grand tourers. I would love to see you do a head to head on each. I am aware that the Conti is about £60K less and a 90 Hp down, but as you mentioned, to get a reasonable spec you will spend £200K. It has the added benefit of the dual clutch and 4WD. I would be interested to see how they compare in a real world test covering large distance over some interesting roads whilst performing their duty as 'super tourers'. I hope you can swing it...
For me it's probably the best looking car ever created. It's so special, words can't describe it.
One of your best reviews yet.. Incredible work there my friend.. Much respect.. You're definitely one of the best car youtuber at the moment.. It's all about cars and driving experience, which some of the others youtubers are starting to forget and feels like they are just bragging about their rich life.. João Paulo Lemos . Totally agree with you 👍🏻Look forward to all his new videos.
João Paulo Lemos here here...
Agree, great dissemination of a true GT and teh Aston's spec ( didn't know truely before James )
You're so natural on camera James, and so informed and constructive with your comments. Great video again, thanks so much :-)
Such a beautiful looking car. So much better looking than the DB11!
Jason Wright sadly still the same tacky interior.
@@kraenk12 the interior looks gorgeous
@@kraenk12 you just need to change the colour from black to something else
@@kraenk12 black doesn’t work with astons interior

One of the most beautiful cars ever, they did an amazing job. Love your content, keep up the amazing work. :)
Michael Eggers Absolutely! :-)
How is a 'one person' youtube channel able to make better car reviews than all the big car magazines combined?
Exceptional work, A+ James!
Such a well composed video, the review itself, the cinematography ... great job James.
Oh man! Those opening shots are pure quality.
This intro was such gold. The music and the b roll. YES.
I'm very happy about seeing companies as Aston Martin developing in such a mature and consistent way. Great modern pieces of machinery, loaded with technology and yet one hundred percent preserving the visual DNA which it's been done so gracefully. Well done, guys! Cheers, James!
There are other car channels but...man you are a quality!! thank you James !!
Goodness I love how simple yet stunning Aston make their cars deff one of the most beautiful car makers out there by far
This car has leapt to the top of my Lottery list. Would love to be in the position to drive this car, but thanks for taking us along James.
Loved the honest great review
You sir are in a league class of your own. One of the best video reviews in your library
Jamon pata negra, check....Glass of Rioja...check...pool side...check....lets roll with another MrJWW slice of awesomeness😎

One of the best car videos on yt😍 these shots!!
James this content and filmography is fantastic. Great car, fantastic vid.
Beautiful car, the color red keeps getting better all the time.
Best review of this car yet. Thanks Mr JWW
Greetings from Australia, love this channel so much, your work is much appreciated
For me this is the best looking Aston's ever made.Love the way it's sounds and as mentioned the DCT is what something that Aston Martin is not working on over a long period of time.Anyway great video James.
The New DBS is sick!!!
I’m a simple Guy, i see MrJWW uploading, i like
great video, superb production values. you've raised the bar again. keep it up!
Genuinely felt like I was watching Top Gear. Thank you James!
Best looking front end of any car I'd say........Awesome!!
Why don't they just remove those back seats and make a nice lugguage space..
they should make it an option
Helps with Eu law and insurance I think
This infuriates me as well. In this kind of cars, those rear seats are utterly unusable. They should fit there some custom made luggage , which you can strap in that space.
Often wondered why they don’t make 2+2s as 3 seaters with a transverse rear seat, bit weird as a concept but could work
Bureaucracy
That thing looks epic. That review was exquisite. Those wheels are incredibly sexy. How on earth do designers come up with these designs and where does the inspiration come from?! Amazing.
mjww vids are such a pleasant visual escape
The videography in this is incredible, well in man!
Great content. Production quality is getting so high! Keep it up ✌🏽
These videos remind me of the old top gear uk videos, great film work and enthusiasm for being a petrol head. Keep up the great work James. ❤️
Awesome CAR, Nice Road, Great View...
What A Wonderfull DAY you have Mr JWW..
I'm loving this new generation of Aston Martin, such a beautiful car!
School Holidays, another JWW video and an Aston Martin. Love the look of this car. Would love you to add an Aston to your car collect. Great video yet again.
I don’t like the db11 but this is a LOT better, super video as always !
Best UK car RUclipsr by far. Well you and Chris Harris
Love the car and review, I was actually yesterday at my local Aston dealer asking about it, once they have it in the showroom I’ll go back for a test drive.....super interested!
superb review james . and a stunning aston ! showstopping .

Denis Spratt maybe it is. It's his money, his choice.
me after reading your comment: WTF... i rather have two 812 instead one 812 and one aston (the only aston i would accept is the one77)
This car is unrealisticly special. Brilliant review.
I love it. I reckon it's one of the most exciting new cars around. MINT!
Stunning scenery. Could you give us the exact location, please?
Namaste1001 Austria, exact spot is in the carfection vid
Awesome video, great work James!
Absolutely ridiculous video keep up the amazing content mate 👍👍🔥🔥🔥
Great video. Your work is superb. I love the way you talk through the car.
Great work
Excellent and entertaining video James. Gayden's pride and pleasure even for many years to come. I'd definitely put my money on the DBS in exchange for your allocated build slot on the 812.
Keep them coming James. World Class mate👍🇦🇺
Great video! I agree regarding the trans, a bit behind the competion, but still a beautiful car to behold.
thank u for a most honest review and opinion of this car!!!

Nicely done James !!!👍
excellent review, content just gets better. ever thought about selling your soul a little and crossing over to main stream tv? Top Gear is waiting lol
Superb video! Thanks. Great looking car too. Only that bonnet badge I'm not keen on.
That V12 sounds amazing even with turbos
Awesome review, your videos surpass the quality of most car journalists!
definitely the best car youtuber out there :)
Game changer for AM in the world of competitors breaking the 3 second 0-60 barrier, however I wish they’d made the front lights look nicer. The rest of the at is absolutely stunning tho!
What a machine, great job again, James👍
Realllllllllly nice edited!
Apart from the centre console I love everything about it!!! Great car and an amazing video. Pretty good filmography too man! Hired someone new?
another piece of art there jdubs
Great review as ever. Great use of the English language " Plethora" is one of my favourite words.
Love the honesty. Beautiful car, beautiful video.
Another great car review, always about the cars which is why I look forward to you videos. Should the Aston be called DBSS as it's the superleggera
Personally I’m not a fan of the DB11 so thank god they’ve gone and made a new DBS. Interior stitching and design on the seats are probably my favourite along with the carbon vents by each side of the front wheels

Very good vid as always always get a 👍🏻 also wow to the new dbs definitely got a new favourite car way prefer it to the 812 .

Sounds great for a turbocharged engine. Looks absolutely stunning and classy.
Incredibly detailed review!
You are too good at reviewing cars! anything that i wanted to know about the driving experience before today I now know. If it had a twin clutch, would you buy one?
Hay your getting good at this car review stuff man ..most enjoyable jim grazie grazie Mille ciao ciao ciao
Sounds kinda like a Hyuara with less turbo noise. Headlights look like theyre directly lifted from a Jag XK, which doesn't look bad mind you.
Do you have a new camera/lens setup? Video quality looks even better since some videos.
Stunning car inside and out
Get this car right now!!!
Forget ferrari
Well done James for the best review yet of Aston’s flagship
I love Aston’s more than any other brand BUT Is the Bentley interior on another scale?
Best review of this Aston so far, because, amongst many other things, there's plenty of opportunity to hear the music it makes! Now, boring (?) question - crossing continents have often do you have to stop to refuel?
Absolutely stunning Car (One of the most beautiful cars in the world)!
Superb Videoquality and Content as we know it from this channel. Love it!👍🏻
Such and awesome shots from outside!
You can just tell James isn't anywhere CLOSE to as excited to be in this car compared to a 812SF. And that is what these cars are all about, right? Driver engagement and the excitement the car can bring? Bummer, I'm a big aston fan.
Only car where frontplate works better than without.
Have they fixed the down shift issue on the 2020 models?
James I'm a new subscriber and have watched all your videos, love them all. I hope you get to 1million subs and more. =)
What’s your opinion on paddles attached to the column rather than the wheel? Great vid as always 👍
*For a Super GT, the ZF 8 wouldn't shock me... Bug god I miss the NA V12... especially in such a gorgeous piece of machinery.*
Which previous DBS are you referring to. The Touring model, William Towns version or the Gaydon V12
Surprised to see James (and Speciale) on ITV a short while ago. TV debut?
Silly question James, how much of what we hear in the interior while you are driving is coming out of the speakers? The fly-by's you show are all pretty tame compared to what we are hearing inside.
Enjoyed your review thank you. The DBS has put Aston back in the major league for something big and special running a V12. (I love the Vanquish but Ferrari eats it).
